Really enjoyed our stay. The owner provided everything (dishes, appliances etc) and located relatively close to all the beaches that our 2 dogs could go to. Quiet and relatively close to the town of Inverness. Enjoyed the Station restaurant and grocery store. All in all a relaxing trip from sizzling temperatures of Sacramento for the week.

We loved staying here. It was a great set up for my mom, me and my two teenage kids. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and it's a great location with easy access to beautiful Pt. Reyes. Peaceful and quiet too. Peggy was responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

This is a charming cabin that offered the perfect place to come back to after time spent exploring all that Point Reyes has to offer. The accommodations were incredibly welcoming and the listed pictures does not do the cabin or property justice. Our favorite part was the deck. We spent the majority of time at the cabin enjoying the outdoors and the beautiful yard.

We had a great time! Such an adorable cottage! We can’t wait to go back!

Three of us were very comfortable, and the sleeping cabin was a bonus with privacy for our third adult friend. The instructions were very clear, and we found everything we needed. The planter on the deck with beautiful blooming kangaroo paws was such a fine welcome, and there were fresh flowers indoors as well. We prepared our breakfasts and dinners and ate indoors and outdoors on the deck--there are two. If you like a wood cabin with a nautical theme and photos and art reflecting the family's love of sailing, this is the place for you. We liked it very much.

Loved it! Big sunny deck, comfortable indoors, very quiet, private, and centrally located. We plan on returning as often as possible.

Comfy bed and well equipped kitchen..all you need for a great stay near PT Reyes Park

This property is simple and a little quirky, but in a good way! It's located in its own private valley with lots of outdoor space for dogs and sunbathers. Our family appreciated the homey eccentric vibe. With Tomales Bay and Pt. Reyes Station on one side and Pt.Reyes Nat'l Seashore on the other, it's a perfect base for exploration.

We really enjoyed our stay. Good place to recharge. Clean, quiet, well-maintained rustic cabin near Pt Reyes. Sunny deck. Perfectly fenced yard for our little dog to explore. However realize no cell service and DSL internet is barely enough for email and web surfing. Probably not a good place for doing remote work. But a great weekend getaway. We'd definitely stay here again!

This is a small, 2-bedroom house with wood floors, walls and ceilings built in 1963, owned by the same family and little-modified since then. The neighborhood is very quiet and very dark - great sleeping and certainly feels like there is no need to lock anything ever.
Things to know: The internet is OK for email but not much else. The shower is very small - like RV small. The gate on the driveway (to keep animals out more than for security) is manual so you need to get out of the car to open/close each time.
If these things are OK then it's great; we'd stay there again.

Our family celebrated a birthday weekend here and enjoyed walking the hills of the neighborhood and charm of the rustic cabin. Make sure to plan some time to soak up the sunshine on the deck. Worked well with the dogs too.

Peggy’s place is great! We had the entire property with 2 cottages, decks and yard to ourselves. Bordered by trees and a fence, feels private & idyllic.
Lovely old school wood interiors and everything we needed. Well-equipped kitchen & good appliances. We made a few meals for 5. Be sure to read the binder to locate the china cabinet.
Location is excellent for Pt Reyes & Tomales Bay access.
My family and I think this place is a gem!

Love the house and the little sleeping cabin. The yard was perfect for our dog to run freely all day. Tons of board games and very relaxing. It was also close to the little town, restaurants and beaches. We had not stayed In Inverness before but it is definitely a gem and the house was very cute. We will be back.

We had a great time. Needed a short, quiet get away during a very difficult family time. This place did not disappoint.

Beautiful space, we loved it. However the small bed in bunk area needs a mattress, not just foam. A mouse kept trying to get in sliding doors.

We loved our stay here, it was quaint and in one of my favorite neighborhoods in Inverness. Our visit in August was such amazing weather with blackberry bushes and an apple tree on the property and the smell of jasmine. The house is clean and tidy and so cozy. Note that there is only one queen bed and the rest are twins if you are more than one couple, but it makes it feel like summer camp. Perfect landing spot in the most idyllic place.

Every year my sister, niece and I try to take a girl’s trip. We found the Dodge home to be a very warm and cozy family home. It has loads of qweerkiness and comforts. Centrally located to go to the many beaches and sites in the Point Reyes National Seashore. Would love to come back someday soon. Thank you Peggy & George for sharing your family home.

We really enjoyed getting away from the hustle and bustle and enjoying some down time. Thank goodness there was no TV. The internet service was reliable so we were able to read up on the community and hiking trails. The full kitchen was perfect for preparing meals, and the deck was great for enjoying coffee and scones in the morning. Really good bird watching. Perfect location!

This place was so great, quiet and very quaint. It was fun to read about the history of the family cottage. It was so convenient to our friends just down the road. We love how quiet it was in the evening and we slept so sound. Also helped to hear the rain coming down! Kitchen had everything we needed. We only had breakfast there. It is well stocked and has a dishwasher for easy cleanup. The weather was cool, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor spaces. Great place and we hope to be back.

We loved our time at the Dodge cabin. It has clearly been beloved to the family for decades. Everything is simple but comfortable. The wraparound deck is delightful, with so many places to sit outdoors. We enjoyed the sunny living room, too. Bed was comfy. The kitchen is fully equipped. Can't wait to stay again!

Cannot recommend this cozy, cute little cabin enough! The outdoor space and adorable sleeping cottage were enough to make this space extra special, but on top of that, the host was communicative, kind, and helpful throughout the whole process. The kitchen was stocked to make cooking fun meals easy, and the location makes hiking exploring local beaches quick and accessible. This rental reminded me of a classic summer cottage that’s loved and used hard for game nights, campfires, and big families! Loved the touches of family photos and the bathroom wall that tracks all the kiddos heights!! Just so special :) Hope to come back someday!

We planned a last minute escape to the coast during the school break. The house was just as described and had everything we could want or need for our stay. The outside space is wonderful and the location was perfect for exploring the area. We would definitely stay again!

This is the second time staying at Peggy’s cabin and it is so cute and cozy. I went with two friends and we enjoyed having a fire in the mornings and evenings. The house is clean and the kitchen is well stocked. The location is very convenient to Inverness as well as Point Reyes Station. We will return!

We enjoyed our four days in Inverness. The buildings are super charming with lots of character. The kitchen and property is very well outfitted with lots of outdoor furniture, everything we could need in the kitchen, and lots of board games.

This family house was as promised. Cozy and clean, great energy. A wonderful place to read and relax and to access terrific hikes in the National Sea Shore.

This Inverness cabin was perfect for my two friends and me. It was very clean, the kitchen is very well appointed and the beds incredibly comfy. We loved being able to slide the doors open to look outside with our morning coffee and tea. The heater is very efficient. Though we didn't sleep in the little sleeping shack, it was great having a second bathroom. We loved seeing all the family photos and wish we knew the stories! I will return.

We loved the home. Cute, quirky and perfect. The outdoor deck spaces were beautiful with lots of birds. The house was perfectly suited for us. It was so nice to have a kitchen for quick breakfast and evening snacks. Peggy was always quick with my questions before we booked. The location was great for all of our hiking in this side of the bay.

Hi there, everything was great!. There are 2 switches behind water heater. One for heater and one for hall lights. This home is very cozy and comfortable. Love the feelings I got from it.
