A Slice of Heaven is a beautifully renovated condo at Pointe West that has all the comforts of home. This luxurious three bedroom, three bath has gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico and is only steps away from the beach. Views of Galveston Bay and incredibly fantastic sunsets make this a vacation spot you will want to come back to again and again. Two pools at Pointe West provide patrons relaxing enjoyment. Winding and floating down the lazy river pool is fun for both kids and adults alike, and what an incredible experience to lounge in the large pool at the beach club with the disappearing edge which melts into the horizon! Enjoy food and beverages served poolside at the beach club, and live music plays Saturday evenings during the summer season. Bird enthusiasts will enjoy all the variety of winged and feathered friends which populate Galveston and Pointe West. Wetlands and marshy areas provide a plethora of environments for these beautiful creatures to reside, and areas to fish by both fowl and friends are enjoyed by many on both the Gulf and bay sides of Pointe West.
The unit is in a perfect location. It is a short walk to the beach and to the Pointe West Beach Club which boasts the Infiniti edge pool, hot tub, The Pointe restaurant/bar, gas grills, a fitness center, game room and gift shop which are all available for use during your stay. Beautiful, newly updated condo in bright, fresh, cheery, inviting colors and all new furnishings. The living /dining area has a sofa, love seat and dining table to seat eight. There are three large screen HD TV's, cable, Wi-Fi, CD/radio/stereo system is available for your pleasure during your stay. A large balcony is accessible from the living room and master bedroom. The view of the Gulf of Mexico is spectacular to enjoy from the comfortable outdoor furniture. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a private bath that has been updated with beautiful new tile decor. The second bedroom has a private full-size bath and a queen size bed. The third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds (sleeps 4 children comfortably) and a full-size hall bath. This makes this condo ideal for a two-family getaway. The kitchen is fully stocked with microwave, small appliances, dinnerware and cookware. A full-size washer and dryer are available for use in the unit during your stay. The nook beside the kitchen has a game table and small balcony that looks out over the pond with a fountain and views of Galveston Bay. The community charcoal grill is located beside the pond below this unit.
When you stay in a Bay to Beach Rental Property, all you need to bring is your clothes, beach towels/chairs, sun screen, food and you! We provide paper towels, toilet paper, large & small trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, fabric softener sheets, hand soap, coffee, coffee filters, shampoo, body wash, and basic spices in each unit.
Pointe West is an exclusive community on the western tip of Galveston Island. The beaches are clean, groomed regularly and closed to vehicular traffic. The main clubhouse has a beautiful infinity edge pool, hot tub, kid’s pool, cabanas, grills, gift shop, workout facility with lockers and a game room. The Sunset Pool on the bayside has a small lazy river, hot tub, fire pit, gas and charcoal grills for the guests use during their stay. Enjoy the pool bar and restaurant, Smore's by the Sunset Pool, kid's crafts, Dive-in Movies and live entertainment. You are only approximately 30 minutes from downtown Galveston (The Strande), Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, Pleasure Pier and all the other great attractions of Galveston. Major grocery stores are located 20 minutes away so we recommend guests stop on their way in so they never have to leave their vacation getaway!

The Property Owners Association (POA) at Pointe West collects a wristband fee of $25 per guest for each guest over the age of 4 (children younger than 4 do not pay) for use of the Beach Club and Sunset Pools during your stay at Pointe West. This is a onetime fee during your stay, not a daily fee. No wristbands are required to enjoy the beautiful beaches at Pointe West this fee is only for use of pools, fitness center, and other amenities. A reservation has been made in your name for your rental period at Pointe West. The wristbands are available at the Beach Club reception every day during business hours (9-5 off season, 9-6 peak season). The physical address for the Beach Club is 4161 Pointe West Drive, Galveston, TX. 77554. You do not have to purchase a wristband to enjoy the restaurant/bar at Pointe West. This place was great! It's proximity to the beach club couldn't be better. Views of the Gulf and Bay were amazing. Super comfortable beds and kitchen has everything you need. Would definitely stay here again

We had a wonderful time! There was enough room to accommodate everyone, with plenty of dishes and pans to prepare meals. Being close to the beach and pool made it easy with the little ones. We would definitely stay again!

THE STAY WAS COMFORTABLE. UNFORTUNATELY I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN BECAUSE I CAN'T WALK VERY FAR DUE TO COPD. THE WALK TO THE BEACH WAS VERY FAR FOR SOMEONE LIKE ME. THE TWO GRANDDAUGHTERS DIDN'T HAVE A PROBLEM. THEY LOVED THE BEACH! WE HAD TO LEAVE EARLY DUE TO HURRICANE BERYL.. THAT WAS DISAPPOINTING BUT WE CAN'T CONTROL THE WEATHER.

We had a wonderful trip and loved the condo. Best parts: Close to 2 different walk overs to the beach. Kitchen well stocked. Hospitality basket was super helpful with dishwasher and laundry pods, some paper plates, etc. close to the pool, great views. Patio had lots of shade in the afternoons and breeze.

We stayed in this condo for my Dad's 80th birthday and enjoyed the beautiful views, sitting on the beach, the Point West pool, golfing at Galveston CC and a fun celebration dinner at the West End Marina. The condo was clean and comfortable. Its a great location to the PW pool and close to the beach walkover. I would stay here again.

This was the perfect place for our stay with 5 grandchildren. The size and arrangement felt roomy View from the balcony is beautiful. The club house with pools were just next door

Loved that we were right next to the pool and restaurant. The restaurant food was delicious.
The unit had plenty of room, lots of extra blankets, pillows, towels. Kitchen had lots of extras such as a air fryer, toaster oven and blender. They had a lot of games for kids and family which we enjoyed. Loved sitting on the patio with a good view of the beach. The property manager was wonderful and extremely helpful and friendly. Loved visiting her in the little gift shoppe downstairs. :). The beach was so quiet, hardly anyone there, very peaceful.
Make sure you get all your groceries before you get to the unit. The closest grocery store was almost 30 mins away and the gas stations/convenient stores wanted $8 for a dozen eggs and $6 for a gallon of milk. So plan your grocery shopping accordingly when you are in town.

Everything you could want from a condo at the beach. Clean, spacious and luxurious. Worth every penny. The owners are responsive and lovely to deal with. A real pleasure of a visit.

the condo was huge with plenty of room for me and my family, Each of my teenagers had their own bedroom and their own bathroom, which was great, The weather was so hot when we were there, we actually never did go to the beach, like intended. We took day trips into Houston and downtown historic Galveston. The only drawback to the property was the beach wasn't really convenient to access, we had to travel to different areas to access the boardwalk to get to the beach. Another drawback was the larger pool, one with the lazy river about a mile away, so we needed to drive to it. But that aside, the owner was so sweet and she let us check-in early and when we had a problem with the keylock she was on site to address our issues right away.

Our family was getting together for the first time in three years! I was excited as this was the first time we’d had a chance to all be together.
The hosts were wonderful every step of the way. We be fan getting information about our stay well in advance of our arrival.
They even notified us that we could check in early.
The property was gorgeous with plenty of wide everyone.

Property was beautiful. I loved waking up and sitting on the patio early in the morning. They have the best rocking Adirondack chairs! I want some for my home! Before the fountain comes on in the pond the fish jump out of the water over and over and made me so happy. Beautiful view of the gulf as well. Our first visit to Galveston and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sand and overall cleanliness of the beach. It was powdery and soft just like what I’m used to at the Florida gulf beaches. The condo was very well stocked with all the spices and condiments needed to cook as well as soaps, detergents, etc. My only disappointments were that the beach club restaurant/bar was no longer in operation and that wasn’t disclosed to us. Supposedly has a new owner and will be back up and running after renovations. Also, not that we knew that there would be corn hole boards on the patio but one had a broken leg…..my boys still enjoyed tossing the beanbags at the working board. I would absolutely recommend this property to friends and family. It was an easy, relaxing, beautiful stay.

Excellent accommodations for our Girls’ Birthday Beach Weekend. Lots of common spaces for hanging out; deck, living room & dining area. Access to the beach was quick & easy. Hosts were quick to answer questions before & during our stay. Beach Club Pool was an added bonus for fun (Small additional cost).

The condo was quite nice and looked just like the listing. Access to the beach was good. Our kids enjoyed the lazy river at the bay-side of the resort. We would recommend. The clubhouse pool is not heated so swing season swimming can be a gamble. We did not really use any of the other resort amenities. The location of the resort is really a getaway as the closest grocery store is 30 minutes away. We had a very nice time and responses from the property managers was just what you would hope.

This condo was so perfect our only regret was that our weekend stay was not long enough! This place wowed us from the moment we walked in the door. The master suite was comfy and gorgeous. The decor in the whole place is calming and welcoming, with a tasteful beach vibe. A favorite with the whole family was the spacious balcony facing the ocean with great views. We were lucky enough to have a spectacular full moon dancing over the water each night during our stay and the condo is close enough to the beach to be soothed by the rhythmic pulsing of the waves . Our grandkids were thrilled with their bunk bed sleeping arrangements. Our daughter and her husband (as did I) thought the guest bed looked more like a full than a queen though there were no real issues with sleeping arrangements. Maybe the owners can clarify the bed size. The kitchen had everything you need except for foil and food storage bags. The property itself is clean, well maintained and quiet. Another family hit was the lazy river pool down the street at the sister property. My suggestion is to grab a few things for quick meals on your way to the condo because there are not many places to dine once you get this far out on the Island. Oh, and the owners are very helpful and responsive. If you want away from it all, peaceful, relaxing but also with plenty to satisfy the kids, then hands down, this is your place!

We had such a great stay! The grounds and Beach Club were beautiful, with flowers and palm trees, and everything was well maintained. The condo itself was spotless, comfortable, and well decorated. The beds were comfortable too, sometimes hard to find. We loved that the beach was just a short walk away, and that there were showers at the beach club to rinse off after a sandy day. Not to mention that the beach was clean, no tar balls, no seaweed. We loved that there were two different pool areas, and we had access to both. The kids loved the hot tub and lazy river, we loved the happy hour at the Point West Bar:) The restaurant had really delicious food too, crab max and cheese? Yes please! We had a wonderful trip, and will definitely be back to this condo!

This property was perfect. It was so tastefully decorated and had all the amenities that you could ask for. The view from the balconies were beautiful. You could catch the sunrise in the morning from the front balcony and the sunset in the evening from the back balcony. We were fortunate in that during our stay we also saw a harvest moon. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to stay here again soon. Also, the hosts were so nice and always responded quickly to any questions, particularly on the day of check-in. It was a wonderful experience all the way around.

Great location, close to the beach and the club house. Unit is near the elevator and has a covered parking spot. Unit is spacious and clean and the patio and views are a plus! The club house was fun, food and service was good. We will definitely stay here again!

GREAT location near the end of the island. Great apartment. Close to the beach. Beach was NOT overloaded with people at all. Definitely want to come back. Attended: Wife and I and our 23 year old, 22 year old, 18 year old, 11 year old, 10 year old, and 5 year old. ALL had a blast.
