Easily accommodates 2 families or more! TWO KITCHENS!!!! Two separate living areas or just make it one big family fun house! Main and upper level feature 3 bedrooms/2 baths/ kitchen/dining/living/utility room and 40 x 30 composite deck. Lower level features 2 bedrooms / 1 bath / kitchen/recreation area and family room with its own utility room and 40 x 30 patio. Covered boat dock with good water views. Composite pier and ramp with composite handrails. Full interior remodel in 2019. Parking for 4 to 6 cars. 65 inch main level TV and 55 inch lower level TV (3 bedrooms with TV as well). Ping pong table, Corn hole boards, hammock, outdoor firepit and 2 kayaks available. Close to the State Park (about 1 mile) and 10 minutes from Mooresville and Statesville. WIFI available. Local boat and jet ski rentals close by.

Very clean and nice location on the lake and really nice and friendly neighbors and an out standing host . He checked on us to make we had what we needed and even personally met us one on one whick was really nice to be able to put a face with the person instead of on the phone

We had such a lovely time spending the week with extended family at Chad’s lake home. It was a wonderful house, lots of room, super clean and well stocked. Chad was so easy to work with and responded immediately to any communications. You can tell that he wants you to enjoy spending time at his house. We rented a pontoon boat during our week and thoroughly enjoyed tubing, exploring and swimming in Lake Norman. We also had fun paddling around in the home’s two kayaks. The house is in a very quiet area but accessible to grocery stores and restaurants within 10-25 minutes. Couldn’t recommend this vacation house more highly! Would give 10 stars if I could!

My family and I had a great stay at this spacious and comfortable lake house. We enjoyed the dock and the kayaks that were provided. The house has spacious living areas and bedrooms, was stocked with cooking supplies and dishes, and is tucked in a nice quiet cove on the lake. The beds were very comfortable and the house has been very nicely renovated. There were also toys for our kids which was a very nice and thoughtful touch.

This house was perfect, located in very quite cove on the lake. We got to actually meet the owners when we arrived, they were very nice and wanted to make sure our needs were met. We get together once a year to meet other family members and the space was great. Will definitely keep it on our list for our get togethers.

We had the best time at this beautiful home which appears recently renovated and very clean. It has everything you need for a gathering of family or friends and a nice relaxing time on the water. It's a great quiet cove, too, and our kids loved jumping and swimming off the dock every day.

I couldn’t say more about my families experience and time and this home and that’s what it felt like a home. First thing, the host was so easy to communicate with and accommodating. Chad was the first best thing about out stay. Secondly the home had everything we needed, it was spacious, clean, instructions to things we needed to know were clear….the ping table and the hammock were a hit with the kids.
Last but no least the outside, backyard and the lake. It was a raining Fri-Sat over the wkend but the one day the sun broke thru meant everything. That Sunday was also my late moms birthday, so to be short the beautiful peace and tranquility was priceless. Everyone enjoyed the lake, the views, the activities(kayaking) it was a beautiful way to be close to the family I love in a way my mother would be proud.

The house was very clean and organized. Chad did very well with going out of his way to communicate to make everything an ease from check in to checkout. The house had everything you could possibly need with exceptional views!

This is a gorgeous, well appointed lake house with exquisite views of Lake Norman from all floors. The owners deeply care about their second home and we can see why. The house from the interior bathrooms, kitchen and living areas to the lawns are well kept with laundry on two levels for convenience. Chad the owner is also very attentive to his guests needs and was so very kind to search for a precious item that our Mima had left behind and send it to us straight away! Our only regret was that we were so busy with family activities that we did not have enough time to take in the beauty and relaxation of this sweet home. If you are smart you will get out on the lake in a kayak, fish off the dock and enjoy the fire pit with views of the lake. Only wish we had more time here. My brother in law who does vlogs of their global travels even incorporated it into his YouTube video on Charlotte under Travel with NJ Steve. Check it out if you want to see the house and get a chuckle.

This property has it all. Communication with the owner was outstanding. Chad always made sure we had everything we needed and made sure of that. The propery is beautiful and our kids loved it. The view of the lake was perfect. We even were able to take the 2 available kayaks out on the lake several times. The firepit was perfect as we loved the chairs available to use. Super clean, 2 big kitchens, and was perfect for our Thanksgiving celebration with 10 people. Wondeful stay and will definately return in the future.

The property was is in an area that provides easy access from land or water. Very nice dock that could accommodate our pontoon. The house was updated and spacious. The owner communicated with us and we had no problems.

3 floors, ping pong, corn toss, kayaks, fishing, swimming, fire pit, hammock.....etc. Wonderful house, very relaxing and quiet. Would definitely recommend this listing.

Magical Place
Three generations had a wonderful stay. We swam and kayaked for hours each day. Hiked in the state park next door. Fire pit and hammock for relaxing. Plenty of room with separate downstairs kitchen and rec room. Very friendly and helpful host. Highly recommend!

This house was PERFECT! Had enough bedrooms for me & my husband, my parents, my brother/SIL, my in laws and both my kids to all have our own rooms! Super clean and the owner was quick to respond! Would highly recommend this house to anyone!!! Perfect location!

Family Gathering
The home was the perfect place for our family gathering. It was large enough for the 9 of us to gather in the home or outside. Beautiful location with a quiet view of the lake. We will definitely return. Thank you, Chad, for your prompt and thoughtful responses to any question or request.

Perfect House
This is the best home we have stayed at. Chad was very helpful and checked in periodically to ensure we were good. Very nice and comfortable home, beautiful views and close to everything we needed. A must stay at place.

Room For All
The 5 bedrooms provided ample space for our 5 adult children, 3 grandkids and ourselves. Kids played games, ping pong, used the available kayaks and watched movies on the large living room TV. The dining room table accommodated most of us around it. The only regret is that we didn't have enough time to have a fire and roast marshmallows around the firepit.

This was a girls’ weekend, and the six of us had a blast! There’s plenty of space in the house, but it has a cozy feel to it. We made use of the deck for coffee, the dock for sunshine and the fire pit for nighttime relaxing. Host replied to any and all questions quickly and gave good recommendations about places nearby. We will be back!

Perfection!
I can't say enough good things about our stay at "When Pigs Fly", 9 members of our family spent a wonderful Christmas at this property and had an amazing time. We lucked out with incredibly warm weather, which allowed us to take advantage of the kayaks and other outdoor activities (lots of cornhole competitions) the property has to offer. The house was well equipped for our large family to spread out and enjoy each others company - the two nicely stocked kitchens were great for preparing a big holiday meal, large dining table to congregate around, great deck/patio/firepit, the ping pong table was super fun, and overall it's just a lovely home away from home to enjoy your vacation. Chad is a wonderful host and was super helpful in quickly responding to any questions and also provided recommendations to restaurants and local attractions. I can't recommend this property enough, would love to come back and enjoy the home and lake in the summer!

Fantastic Stay
We loved our stay. The house was very clean, the lake front location was amazing, and the space fit our needs perfectly. Above all of that though was the excellent communication. I stay at a lot of rental homes due to work and personal travel, and I've never seen such great communication.

Great Lake Vacation Stay
Great place to rent. This multi-family house has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Chad was a wonderful host and communication with him was excellent. I even text him one day to ask about an ice cream place close by and he called me back within 5 minutes to give me directions. The deck on the main level is nice with two tables and chairs. There are also two gates which are great for kids. There is enough room to break out the corn hole boards for some fun. The downstairs area is very accommodating with a large fire pit and multiple chairs. There were life jackets, noodles and floats available in the garage. We also utilized the kayaks which were nice!!! The dock is very nice, and the flooring does not get real hot. The driveway is huge and can accommodate multiple cars. Our family would definitely rent this place again. Thank you Chad!!

Wow! This is my dream property!
Two families came to explore Lake Norman for the first time and we realized we had it all at this house! With 3 stories and so many nooks we had plenty of space. We played dominos at the kitchen table for family time and the adults enjoyed drinks on the deck while the children played ping pong. The amount of water toys available for the kids and adults (loved the blue water raft!) was amazing. The owner was also generous enough to let us borrow his tube for our boat... the kids had a blast. We will definitely be back and this is the house for us!!!

This is a wonderful property in a beautiful peaceful setting. The house is laid out perfectly for two families. There are lots of places to sit and relax on or below the deck. The dock is very nice and it was very easy to park our rental boat. The owner Chad is very friendly and responsive. We loved our stay!
