Vegetarian continental breakfast was delicious plenty of it ,and proper coffee ,lyndsey couldn't do enough for you ,both my room and on suite were roomy and clean and there was tea and coffee making facilties in the room , for the money you pay it is excellent value xx
There is road parking very near by but timing is limited so you need to be aware of that !

Lovely house. We had two rooms, both were very clean, warm and quiet. Breakfast was great. Lovely big bathrooms and the rooms were really nicely decorated and comfortable. Good Wifi. Great that our dog could stay with us too! Parking right outside to unload, but between 9am and 6pm cars need to be parked a few hundred yards down the road, which is still really close.

Such a great location and the room was perfect, light airy plenty of space equipped with everything we needed. The room was spotlessly clean. Linsey was welcoming and friendly but also left us to it, he got the balance just right. We absolutely we be staying again.
Nothing to complain about, it was all fantastic

Didn't know you had to order breakfast when booking so didn't get breakfast!
Dead flies on the floor.
Bedside lights not working.
Only one towel! No hand towel in the bathroom.

Host was polite and helpful, we arrived early but welcome to have our room.
Breakfast was brought to our room and was more than enough.
Nothing..

Nice room light big and clean. Bathroom was very nice and warm, very clean. The bedroom was very nice, comfy bed but curtains look tired. I looked for an information sheet to tell what to do in case of fire or other emergency. There was nothing
to tell you about the area either which I didn't need but people new to Callington might Breakfast served in the bedroom was fine, but again an information sheet with what was on offer would be good, Twelling Robe would be good for the nearly £100 per night price.
I could not get into the Guest House after returning from Family on Christmas Eve.The door was swollen and my hands are not strong enough to manage the top lock while trying to manipulate the door knob .I rang the bell but no one was at home to answer, eventually I managed to get in but It was not a good start to my stay.
I was keen to have working wifi in the bedroom but although I could connect the Band width was so weak it was impossible to use.

It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog to stay with us when travelling. Lindsey was very obliging and and answered my questions, before we arrived, fully and promptly. Once we'd checked in and arrangements had been made for breakfast, we were left to our undisturbed to our own devices.
The attic room had a very convenient area just outside the bedroom door consisting of a comfortable seating area /lounge and dining table and chairs. We were able to have breakfast there in the morning, kindly brought up by Lindsey so that we didn't have to leave our dog in the room whilst breakfasting.
It was very warm up in the gods of the house and the room was very spacious and comfortable. We couldnt hear anything up there, it was so peaceful.
The shower cubicle was v large with plenty of elbow room, which is ideal for the larger, more bulky individual
In particular.
The Chantry is perfectly located for a huge range of choices of places to eat: pubs (which accept dogs), different take aways and restaurants all within walking distance.

Host helpful and welcoming. really great breakfast, comfortable and big room and bathroom. biscuits and tea/coffee making facilities good too!

no parking directly outside but did park less than a minutes walk away which was actually fine.

Lovely historic house with lots of nice features. The landlord was amazing, very friendly attentive and cheerful and cooks a great breakfast, house was right in the centre of town. Easy to get to.
Can't think of anything we didn't like.

Friendly host. Good breakfast served on time in our bedroom (full English). A very good base for walking (which we did the next day).
Rather noisy overhead in the first part of the night. (Was someone moving furniture around?) but no noise from the street. Ideally jam or marmalade would have also been served with our toast and butter.

Very accommodating helping us to check in early due to a family event.
House was very well presented and Lindsey very helpful and friendly.
The only minor problem was after to park a little way up the road, however not a huge problem at all.

Large and clean room. Dog stay for free.
We received some information before arriving but at the checking I needed to ask twice for further information to park. I was told that leaving the car in front of the place was ok from 6pm to 9am but it was 5pm. No breakfast was offered despite of the fact that it was stated as optional for £7.5 on booking. We were hoping to have breakfast there but we needed to find a place elsewhere. Check in was rushed and no information whatsoever was provided. I thought we were going to have the information in our room but there wasn't any. In the check out, we left the keys on a table in the lower table, we guessed that was what were supposed to do. It was also stated that daily housekeeping was provided but that's untrue.
Finally, the bed was large and comfy but the sheets provided weren't the correct size, they were smaller., We woke up several times at night without them.

The cooked breakfast was Excellent, the location was just right for me everything I wanted was just yards away.

Easy check in, nice building and very clean.
The bed was a cheap metal frame which was extremely loud with minimal movement (ie. turning over)- meaning we slept very very badly.

The only thing I could say is could do with a hand rail on stairs to attic room
