The old coach house is a very well appointed, everything you need for a self catered break away. A cosy multi-fuel burner and a large sofa creates a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. Fully fitted kitchen with everything needed. A very quiet location is welcomed compared to a busy city location.
Street light just outside the bedroom.

Location was very quiet and the pub behind was great, excellent food and a warm welcome.

The property was lovely and comfortable, all the modern amenities you could want.
An excellent kitchen, comfy bed, and lovely bathroom.
The lounge has a nice big sofa and a good TV, even a log fire if you fancy it.
There's a second toilet/ washroom in the upstairs bedroom, so there's nothing lacking in the excellent facilities provided.
Plenty of opportunities to walk along the 'Tarka Trail' just adjacent to the cottage.
The grub at the local pub is ok and a nice selection of Beers, it's only a hundred yards walk from the cottage.
We really enjoyed our stay of 6 nights, which we used as a base for visiting the many National Trust properties in Devon.
Thank you Mark & Elaine for a very well presented property š

We knew before we booked that there was no outdoor space like a rear or enclosed garden, but we worked around it.
This may be an important consideration for renters, so as not to be disappointed with your choice when booking, bear this in mind.
This didn't detract from this excellent and well looked after rental.

Bigger on the inside, The Old Coach House is a deceptively spacious cottage situated on the Tarka Trail. Fitted with a well equipped kitchen, en-suite and cosy bedrooms and beautiful well lit lounge with stunning views, it was the perfect place to explore the North Devon countryside and nearby beaches.
The most we had to travel was an hour to reach our various destinations which included Westward Ho! Woolacombe beach, Bude, Lynford Gorge, Buckland Abbey to name but a few of the beautiful places. We were able to easily adapt our plans due to the inclement weather as there was so much to see.
We would also recommend popping into the Duke of York which was situated within the village of Iddesleigh. Lovely atmosphere and good food enjoyed on our first and last night. We would recommend getting your groceries delivered and have refreshments at the Duke of York whilst you wait.

Very cosy & comfortable. The dog's loved lying in front of the log burner after their adventures.

The whole house is neat and well equipped (especially the equipment in the kitchen is super clean and complete).

The cottage and the village were beautiful. The cottage had everything we needed and was easy to use. There were even a few board games play.
The futon beds upstairs were very uncomfortable.

The old coach house cottage was lovely. It was clean and very family friendly. It was in a quiet area with a lovely view. A lovely and cozy place. They had thought well about the guest that were staying. Attention to detail was very good. They even had candles if someone wanted to celebrate the birthday while they were there. It was clean. We felt home away from home. Had towels for the guest.

Very very impressed with "the old coach house" upon pulling up outside & then when you open the door, it's absolutely mind blowingš² such a lovely adorable cottage, well equipped with everything you need for your stay (apart from your own family & food) such a quant idyllic charming hidden away peaceful placeā¤ to be honest having trouble finding anything negative to say about the old coach house, that's because there isn't. When in the area again & is available we will most definitely stay again.

Self Catering. We loved the Woodburner Fire, so warm and cosy, grateful as the weather was miserable, but coming back to the easy to light fire, was a treat to look forward to. Great T.V. set, beautiful picture and easy to use.
Kitchen very well fitted with everything there to produce an excellent meal.
The shower was a lovely size and plenty of hot water, however, it was 'let down' by the lack of a non slip mat in the shower, as the floor was slippery when wet due to the smooth surface.

Rural location! Well equipped with everything needed for a holiday stay
Parking situation wasnāt great, could have been sorted better as enough room outside the property. 5 miles of very narrow country lanes.
The sofa needed upgrading!
