This propert s amazing! We loved the pool and how close we were to the beach. The housekeeper, Giselle, cooked some meals for us and the food was delicious...way better than what we had at restaurants. She was very helpful and welcoming. We would definitely stayed here again.

This house was better than we expected. The living, kitchen, and dining room is a lot bigger than the pictures indicate. Very spacious for our two families of 6 that stayed here. We had kids age 9-21 and the proximity to the beach and pool was perfect. We spent 5 nights here and went fishing off the beach, plus two fishing excursions. There is even a fish cleaning station in the side yard. We also had an excursion to Rio Celeste which was a little far, but made even more amazing when we returned to a warm meal made by Giselle, the house keeper. Definitely have her cook for your group. We had one dinner and one breakfast by her and it was super affordable and way more authentic than the restaurants. You do need a 4x4 vehicle to drive up the driveway, but that made the place feel more adventurous and unique. If you have a driver take you on an excursion, as we did for Rio Celeste, have them pick you up at the wood gate. The screen door was perfect for keeping out the bugs, but you could still hear the crashing of the waves. I already miss the sound. Washer and drawer was helpful. Only negative is the fourth bedroom is detached from house and smaller than the others, but the couple that stayed in it said the sound of the waves was beautiful.

This was our first trip to Costa Rica with our adult children and their spouses. The property was great with a beautiful ocean view (especially for sunsets) and easy access to the beach. We coordinated one dinner with Gisselle and it was delicious. The host was easy to communicate with and provided several helpful tips for sightseeing and activities. If we return to Costa Rica, it will be our "go to" place!

House was exactly as advertised with a beachfront location that couldn’t be beat. The house is tucked in at the end of the beach so it feels like a private beach. The housekeeper was excellent and was available to cook meals for an additional fee…very much worth it. Restaurants are walking distance along the beach, anywhere from 10 minutes to 20 minutes walk from the house. Daniel and his team were very accommodating throughout the entire trip

Property was great, located at quiet end of Coco beach. Note the main house is 3 bedrooms and a fourth bedroom and bath are located in a stand alone building adjacent to pool. The housekeeper Guisselle is available to cook meals, she cooked a great meal for our family. Great stay with beach/pool and monkeys out your back door.

Daniel's house was amazing and beautiful we felt like we had a Private beach to ourselves.
Daniel as a person went above and beyond for my family and friends. It was woeth every penny. The driveway was a little steep but we got used to it. Highly recommend.

Our extended family stayed at Daniel's house and had a terrific time. The best snorkel area in Coco was right outside our front door; the house was as described. Giselle, the house keeper, cleaned the house every day and cooked two wonderful meals for us. Edwin, the grounds keeper, was quick to fix the few problems we had and kept the grounds immaculate. The pool was a great place to hang out in, especially for the kids. We plan on booking the house in future visits and will definitely recommend staying here. Pura Vida!

We had an amazing experience staying in Danielle‘s home on the beach. We were a family of nine and we had plenty of room. The house was very clean. Despite being the rainy season being had Sunfield mornings, trips in the ocean, trips to the rainforest, and overall a relaxing time. It was not very crowded at this time of year which made it feel like we had the beach to ourselves. Daniel is able to set us up with a person who can arrange trips which was very helpful. Overall we had a great time and we would come back in a heartbeat.

Great stay at Casa Punta Coco!
We had a great time during our visit to Costa Rica while staying at Casa Punta Coco. The house was beautiful and exactly as described. We had everything we needed during our stay. Daniel and Giselle (the housekeeper) were really helpful and ensured we were well taken care of and we got all of our questions answered quickly. Costa Rica is such a beautiful country and everyone was so welcoming and hospitable. We hope to come back in the future and would love to stay at Casa Punta Coco again!

Beautiful
The listing says it all. Right on the beach which is what we were looking for. Not the nicest beach for swimming but great for my morning walks and evening sundowner.

The perfect week
We loved this house and this vacation and are already planning to come back. We came a group of seniors, adults, and toddlers. We didn’t spend much time in the rooms but they were perfect with great showers and beds comfortable. There is no bath If you are coming with babies but fortunately ours loved the outdoor shower. We rented a car and did find it convenient for some excursions and grocery shopping but we often walked along the beach or the road in to town (about a 15 minute walk to the closest mini market) and would also recommend renting a golf cart. The stars were amazing each night and the beach is incredible in part because you are at the end of it so you always have it completely to yourself. The spot is stunning… fantastic sunsets every evening, iguanas sunning themselves, beautiful landscape, big tides, cool tide pools to explore, a lovely relaxing back patio and pool with great views, the sound of the ocean every night, and amazing swimming right outside your door. Coco felt so safe and relaxed while also having All the amenities and infrastructure we needed. Great wifi. We saw incredible wildlife without even trying..Howler monkeys in the trees each day, amazing big bugs, crab eating raccoons, white squirrels, the most colorful birds, jumping fish, dolphins, turtles, eels, rays, fantastic fish snorkeling, etc. We ate very well, finding all we needed to cook at the store in town and taking advantage of housekeeper Gisela’s offers to make guanacaste specialities for dinner. We would just give her money for groceries in the morning and she charged a very reasonable price for cooking for our large group. We also booked her for a mid week cleaning and she was very thorough. The owner was fantastic.! very responsive, clear, and even set up two wonderful boat outings for us which I really recommend. He also immediately replaced the coffee maker when it broke which we very much appreciated. We went down the coast towards witches rock stopping for some snorkeling, a few isolated beach swims, to go up the rio to see the caimans and mangroves, etc… recommend!! We only ate once in town but had a very very good lunch at chez sirloin. From a Covid standpoint we felt very safe in Costa Rica and very lucky to be there. We did an excursion to diamente park which was great for the kids and to the llanos de Cortes waterfall which we a fun place to swim. Book this! You won’t regret it!

Wonderful home for our yearly trip with family!
What a great place! It was extremely clean, had all the necessities with amazing views and we even got to experience a large family of monkeys right outside. Our 3yr old son loved the pool. The rooms were spacious and Giselle was wonderful. She came and cleaned and asked if she could make our breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to make it back again sometime!

Perfect Beach Hide-a-way
This Playa El Coco property is lovely. The house is large and airy with a beautiful pool and a terrace that is only yards from the ocean edge. You can sit by the pool and watch your kids play on the beach. The property is at the end of a cove and feels quite isolated but it's only a short walk into town (just over a mile). Giselle, the housekeeper, is an excellent cook. We highly recommend having her prepare a traditional Costa Rican meal. Don't forget your bug spray and sunscreen. Even at the end of November, both were definitely needed.

Vacation in Paradise
We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary with our children and grandchildren at Casa Punta. Our entire group of 10 agreed it was the best accommodations we’ve ever had. From morning coffee on the patio overlooking the pool and beach to an evening cocktail watching the beautiful sunset, the setting was always amazing. Giselle and her daughter cooked a wonderful meal for us with the fish family members had caught. We all were sad to leave as we felt like we were living in a dream! We are all talking of returning! A true paradise!

A wonderful time is Costa Rica
I want to Thank the owners for allowing us to stay in their lovely house. It was very convenient and we had so much fun with the howler monkeys in the mango tree outside the front door. The house keeper was fabulous and she cooked for us one of our nights. Wonderful authentic food. Having the beach right out the back door also a big plus. We were sad to go but plan on coming back soon.

Fantastic beach house and even better hostess!!
We had a fantastic few days at this house - right on the beach with a beautiful pool area!! The beach was secluded and beautiful! Our hostess and her daughter prepared an authentic Costa Rican meal and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We will certainly be back!

Lovely place right on the beach
We loved our stay in Coco! The house was very clean and was just as described. The location is ideal - it accommodated kids who wanted to play at the beach and those who wanted to swim in the pool. We all had a great time and a very comfortable stay. Hope to visit again!

Staying at Casa Punta Coco was the highlight of our trip! Guiselle cooked for us one night and we had leftovers for days! I would highly recommend this place!

Great property, very private, nice beach front and location!
Casa Punt Coco is a great property, in a nice private location in Playas Del Coco. We were 8 adults, and 2 toddlers. The kids had a blast!
Only a short 30 minute drive from the Liberia airport. If you think you’re at the end of the road, you’re not. Keep going!
Giselle, who comes and cleans the property, is wonderful. She keeps the house extremely clean. We also had her come and cook us dinner twice, which was delicious!
Just a short drive or walk into town, there were plenty of delicious restaurants, which we enjoyed.
The only negative for us was that the pool could have used more maintenance. We had to request pool maintenance a couple of times because it was getting quite dirty.
To note: there is great snorkeling in the area, and the house does not provide any gear, so bring your own goggles, snorkel and flippers if you’d like to partake. Also, there were no toys available for the kids to play with, not even sand toys, so bring those also.

Worth changing the dates of our trip!
Due to the property not being available the week of Christmas, our family of 9 adults and 4 children, (ages 7 & 4, and two infants) decided to delay our trip a week to be able to stay at Casa Punta Coco. It was everything we had hoped for and more! Totally worth two teachers and two kids missing the first few days of school after Christmas break! :)
The pictures on the site are a very true representation of what the property looks like. The house is very open, spacious, and clean. The pool area is amazing with it's view of the ocean and has plenty of seating around the deck.
Daniel was great to work with in setting up our stay and was very patient answering all my questions.
Giselle was also very patient with our group and the lack of Spanish we were able to speak. Thank goodness for Google translate! She cooked a delicious dinner for us one night that we ate for a couple of days.
The location on the beach was perfect....second to last house on north end of beach. It was very quiet with very few people. The people we did run into were very friendly and helpful. I also love how all of the houses and small motels are set back behind a row of palm and other trees on the beach. So looking down the beach all you see is greenery, sand and the ocean! We also enjoyed the tide pools around the rocks at low tide.
It was an easy walk into town either on the beach or on the dirt boardwalk. We walked to Cafe de Playa a couple of times to eat. Great food and service with a nice setting right on the beach. Great place for a drink at sunset!
Even before getting home, we were already planning a trip back to Costa Rica and would definitely love to stay at Casa Punta Coco again!

Great getaway w ocean swimming for kids
We had a great five night stay. Property is truly lovely. We let our 6, 7, and 8 year olds play in the ocean while we watched from the pool. Water is very kind and calm and the beach is right there.

Great Location
We had a group of 12 and we had a great time. The driveway is steep and our rental van had to be parked at the top of the hill. The meals were very good and the pool and grounds were cleaned every day.
The beach is great and the privacy was perfect. The only issue we had was the ants. We had to kill ants in the rooms every night. We could not get rid of them.
We enjoyed the area and the town and would come back for sure!

Beachfront and beautiful
We loved our 3 days at this home. It is right on the beach, we loved the pool with our 3 kids. The staff was wonderful, Giselle cooked 1 dinner for us and we ate it for 3 days, it was delicious. Groceries are more expensive here than the US. The beach is calm enough for kids to play and it was very quiet being at the north end of the beach. It is a good walk down the beach to the first restaurant, too far to walk with small kids. Lots of great places to eat nearby, our favorites were Che Sirloin, delicious burgers in a beautiful courtyard very close drive to the house. We also ate at the lookout for a romantic dinner with a gorgeous view. Laura was very helpful during our stay! It was nice having air conditioned bedrooms.

Family Vacation
Fourteen of us spent a relaxing and fun vacation at this house. The caretaker, housekeeper and other helpers were courteous and friendly. We enjoyed a home cooked meal prepared by Giselle and her daughter. Yummy! The grounds were always immaculate and clean, as was the house. We loved walking the beach into town but we were glad for the golf cart to bring back groceries. We were fortunate to have several Spanish speakers in our group who were able to communicate really well with the staff of the house and with people in town. Laura was quick to respond with answers to our questions and give suggestions when asked. Very fun and enjoyable vacation! PURA VIDA!🇨🇷

Perfect Getaway
Playa Coco is a little slice of heaven. Five of us stayed here for a 40th birthday celebration during late May of 2019. We rented the entire property, but only stayed in the main house. It is the second to last home on the beach near a beautiful waterfall. The highlights are the peace & quiet and the surf lulling you to sleep at night.
Daniel made himself available before and during the trip for questions and concerns. We ended up not having Guisella cook for us, but I think we missed out! She greeted us upon arrival and was available for us to call anytime during our stay.
We made breakfast and lunch each day and went out to dinner every night. The restaurants in town were very good. We visited Citron, The Lookout, Toucanoos, Buen Provecho, and a couple others I cannot remember the name of. There was even a bar/grill within walking distance on the beach. We didn't have a bad meal the entire time we were there!
Bring a can of bug spray per person, and purchase a pack of mosquito coils from the grocery store to enjoy your time outside by the pool or sitting in their backpack chairs down by the beach watching the beautiful sunset.
I highly recommend this property and plan to come back again!

Beautiful Oceanfront Property
Our party of four adults and three children (ages 5,5, and 8) had a fantastic stay at this home. We loved having the pool and the beach right out the front door. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets each night. A family of howler monkeys settled into the tree right in the front yard and the kids loved the hermit crabs that came out each night. Another real highlight was Giselle. She kept the house spotless, did our laundry and we had her cook for us four out of five nights. It was delicious and she did the grocery shopping and clean up. We highly recommend this house for a wonderful stay!

Absolute paradise!
We had 2 families (4 adults and 5 children) who stayed here for 10 nights. This home is immaculate! The area is very safe and the staff is phenomenal. We only used the main house and not the extra casita.
Giselle cooked for us 6 out of 10 nights and even planned and prepared an amazing 40th birthday party for us, complete with beach bonfire, pinata and birthday cake. Noellia also helped out a few nights. These ladies are so sweet and kind - willing to do anything to help make your experience the best. The food was amazing! You must ask Giselle to make her homemade guacamole and salsa. It's the best we have ever had! She even did the grocery shopping for us! The home was cleaned daily and Giselle even did our laundry. We are all seriously having withdrawals after coming home. This was better than an all inclusive vacation!
The pool was filled and cleaned daily by Edwin. The grounds were cleaned and well kept. The howler monkeys are just up the hill behind the house and came to visit us on our last morning. The coati were next door and sometimes on the roof at night. :) The hermit crabs come out to play on the grass at night. The home is very safe and we appreciated the extra security measures and watchful eyes of Edwin, even though we never felt unsafe.
The little town is fabulous and has everything you need. We ate at Coconutz one day for lunch. The food was pretty good, but to be honest, Giselle's was much better! We also had pizza from Napoliano's - it was very good. We picked up cereal for breakfast and sandwich stuff for lunch from the local markets.
The roads in Costa Rica can be a bit dicey, so I definitely recommend something with 4WD.
The power went out twice while we were there, but flash lights are handy, so nothing to worry about. The cable did not work at all while we were there, but we had iPads for the kids to watch movies on, so not really a big problem. A few extra things would make life easier in the house, like a portable cooler, electric coffee maker and beach umbrella or other portable shade structure. We left 4 beach chairs we purchased for future guests to use, but I would check with the owner before arriving on the other items, or pick them up in Liberia at Walmart before you drive to Playa del Coco.
We all absolutely loved it here and agreed that this was the best vacation ever! We hope to return to Casa Punta Coco soon!

Perfect place for laziness or adventure
The location of this home the end of the beach is amazing. Sunsets were spectacular. The pool/patio was shaded through most of the morning and then a large part of the afternoon (we were there mid March). The umbrella over the patio furniture, the hammock under the tree, or a quick dip in the pool provided perfect relief from the midday heat. We setup of the house was perfect for our two families.
Laura helped us to have a stocked pantry and fridge upon arrival, and Giselle (sp?) and her associate had a wonderful lunch prepared for us upon arrival. They also cooked breakfast for us twice. Costa Rican breakfasts are wonderful with the black beans and rice, tortillas, plantains, and fruit.
We rented a car. It was easy to get more groceries from the market just down the street or at Auto Mercado in town.
When you get to the sign when trying to find the place, go left. The house on the right looks nice, but it's not yours!
We had one big adventure day: horseback ride, tubing down a river, zip-line tour, and thermal pools and mud bath. The mud makes you smell like sulfur for a day or so, so beware.
Llanos de Cortez is about an hour away and is a nice partial day adventure as well.
We walked down the beach to Pacifico and Cafe de Playa for dinner. We loved Father Rooster in Playa Ocotal, next beach over. Pizza can be delivered, but explaining location is challenging; WhatsApp got it done though.
The sound of the waves, the critters in the tide pools, the lovely breeze, fruit, coffee, sea-life, sunsets, monkey visits, etc. We loved being there and hope to be back!

Casa Punta Coco was Casa Practically Perfect!!!
Our party of six adults LOVED Casa Punta Coco! Coming down the driveway is its own adventure, but the prize at the end of the driveway is worth the journey! The villa is exactly as pictured, & felt bigger in real life. The layout was perfect: the bedrooms were separated enough to be private and quiet, and the casita allowed us to really spread out! The communal spaces were beautifully connected to the outdoors, the beautiful pool (which we practically lived in) and the amazing ocean views! Not to mention the AMAZING sunsets we enjoyed daily. Falling asleep to the waves crashing and waking up with the howler monkeys was truly an experience!
Laura, the concierge, was so helpful every step of the way – both before we arrived and after. She had food & beverages pre-stocked, even accommodating some pretty specific requests from us. This was such an appreciated service! (saved us going grocery shopping after red-eye flights) ;o) Laura’s suggestion to rent the golf cart turned out to be one of our best decisions and was well worth the cost. It was not only practical, but a great way to see more of Coco Beach and have fun doing it!
We did elect to have 3 meals prepared for us, and Giselle & Erica were amazing! The food was wonderful, the service top-notch, and they even taught us how to make tortillas! The dining table is large enough that we could all sit on one side, enjoying the view outside while savoring our chef-prepared meals. Erica and Giselle were absolutely delightful and we truly enjoyed their company.
And then there was Edwin! He was an integral part of our carefree stay at the villa. He came by at least twice a day to check on things and take care of anything that needed to be taken care of, while also being very respectful of our privacy. 😉 Edwin was also a wealth of information and suggestions, answering our countless questions with a smile!
The villa was the perfect place to treat ourselves to poolside massages, provided by 5 Star Salon (salon in Coco Beach). The practitioners were awesome, they came to us (6 tables lined up on the pool deck!) and it was the perfect way to start our Costa Rican adventure.
MINOR issues: toaster oven quit working after a couple of uses (used oven instead), we ran out of cooking gas (Edwin quickly replenished!), the front door needs attention. User error made laundry a challenge: perhaps printed instructions would help?
Overall a FABULOUS experience! Thanks to Daniel and staff for an unforgettable stay!

Great house and beach location for a large family vacation !
The house looked a little sparse from the pictures, but it had a great layout that allowed for both separate spaces and lots of room for group togetherness. Guiselle the housekeeper made our time in Playa El Coco memorable. We had her cook both dinners and breakfasts for us. She made local dishes and basically anything we asked for - including ribs, pupusas and tamales. So fun to be out all day and come back to a fantastic meal in the comfort of our own place. And then she cleaned up and left it sparkling. The groundskeeper Edwin was also there every day keeping the area around the house perfect. A few nits- the driveway down to the house was pretty steep and twisty. The loose gravel made it a challenge to make it up to the road in the van we were driving. The detached bungalow had a few bugs- but not unexpected in Costa Rica! Also we did get our deposit refunded without even having to ask for it. We loved our time at the house. Thanks Daniel!
