Excellent, comfortable stay

The cottage had everything we would need and more. Angus and Louis gave us a lovely homemade cake and fresh eggs from their chickens when we arrived, which was such a nice touch. We were only a short drive away from Beamish ,which was the main reason for our visit, Metro and Durham. It is very central yet so quiet and peaceful. I would not hesitate to stay with them again. The morning we left, we had breakfast in the farmhouse, which was delicious and plenty of it. There is a supplement for this, and it is well worth it

Peaceful and comfortable stay in a cottage with all amenities we could ask for.

Tranquil location with pleasant walks nearby. Fully equipped kitchen and plenty of comfortable furniture. Our baby slept very well in the provided travel cot, and had a great time exploring the accomodation and seeing the animals in the farm.

The stairgate should be replaced.

Wonderful, relaxing and utterly blissful 😊

The location was peaceful. The cottage was lovely and clean.

I kept falling in the crack in the bed. I will get over it. I would still stay again.

Very convenient and lovely location for a short break to the NE

Cottage was very roomy and well presented.

Shower in main bedroom is electric and the temperature cannot be easily regulated.

Lovely rural stay away from hustle and bustle.

Lovely quiet rural location, easy drive to facilities. Set amid picturesque farmland. Close to Beamish Living Museum. Access to walking tracks.

Quiet and ideally place to visit both Newcastle and Beamish

Location really suited us. Bed was very very comfortable, Angus was very hospitable, 1 bed was equipped with almost everything you would need.

Could have had a curtain at the back door, to give more privacy in the evening, also some brochures of things to see in the area.

Lovely place and very quiet location. Comfortable beds and well stocked accommodation. Lots of walks on the doorstep and very close to Newcastle. Really great stay.

stunning cottages with everything you need. the homemade cake on arrival is an excellent homely touch and tasted beautiful. very peaceful, with comfortable beds. Could not fault anything.

Family trip to Beamish museum - Lovely cottage accommodation.

Great location for Beamish and Newcastle area. Stunning views and high-quality rooms. The host provided a cake which was delicious. Short driving distance to some nice restaurants and shops.

Took me a while to locate the host for the keys. But another guest pointed me in the right direction. For those reading this and planning to stay, simply knock on the black door on the main farmhouse building.

Homely feel, eggs and cake on arrival. Lovely accommodation, your out in the country but close to the city. The beds were exceedingly comfortable one of the better sleeping arrangements I've had.
