Exceptional

What an apartment, quircky, and quite simply stunning. It's in a great location, and it's really perfect for getting lost in the back streets of the stunning old town (which is what we love to do). There is so much to see in Rouen. One night wasn't enough, we will be back for sure.

Please replace a bed cheet - it is too barbed

Well-equipped.

All 2 days of our stay there was group of guys accepting drugs and drinking (homeless) just at the entrance of the building - seemed not safe for us. We booked this apartments because of view - but it is totally another one due to reconstruction of cathedral (please change photo at the description as it is not true).

Superb

Great decor and use of space. Well equipped and stylish. Very good communication and welcoming messages from the hosts. Very central location.

The apartment is above a busy noisy square. It didn’t cause a problem as we had the windows closed.

I enjoyed doing some washing and seeing the sights.

Everything was so easy. We picked up a car in Lille, drove 3 hours, parked in the underground car park with a pedestrian exit (“rue de l’hopital”) right opposite the building’s front door. Dominique had sent me the code the day before to pick up the keys. Up the stairs and we were in. A lovely haven above the crowds of a thriving old town. The shower is a gorgeous grotto with lots of hot water!

we were in Friday night - downstairs cafe and pub - a lot of young people , was noise, impossible to sleep with open windows , with closed -ok, good isolation , but very hot…. no conditioner ( old nice building )

A stay in Rouen's Center City.

The location is outstanding. (We could easily walk to all of our desired destinations.) The bed was super comfy. There is a washer and a dryer. The host was easy to communicate with.

Parking was a challenge. We couldn't find the recommended parking garage (GPS coordinates would be helpful) and ended up carrying our heavy bags several blocks. Then, we had to lug them up three steep, winding flights of stairs. Whew!

Everything was perfect! great location, beautiful apartment! Parking was so easy in front of the building- from 13:30- to 07:30 the next day cost only 16:00 euros.

Beautiful apartment in great location

Beautiful apartment in an ideal location. Comfortable bed and plenty of hot water/pressure for shower. Great kitchen facilities. Excellent hosts and straightforward communication.

The property is on the top floor so lots of stairs, which we didn't mind at all but may prove difficult for some people. The staircase is absolutely stunning however!

Great location. Well organised space, plenty of stuff, very quiet given location, good communication with Christine @ Dominique.

The little sink is perhaps annoying! But nothing material.

The location of the apartment was perfect, and we had a very comfortable stay. Would recommend!

The apartment was located in a very convenient and charming location, everything was clean and nicely decorated, and the hosts were responsive. Check-in and check-out were easy, and it was great having a washer and dryer in-unit.

Awesome apartment in the city center

The apartment is really beautiful with a fantastic view on one of the main church of Rouen. It is 5 min from the cathedral and there are a lot of caffee and bar near it. The parking is underground and is at 5 meter from the door (only negative thing is the price of it). I strongly suggest this loft for a stay in Rouen

Due to the fact that the building is ancient there is not an elevator so this could be a problem if you have heavy luggage

A stylish apartment in a great location with great attention to the details that contribute to a go

This little apartment was just delightful. Perfect location and many thoughtful details to make the stay enjoyable. Lovely linen , comfortable bed and sofa and well equipped kitchenette .Dominic was very welcoming recommending a local restaurant L’Espigget where we enjoyed a delicious meal . Rouen itself is a lovely city .. plenty to see ..our trip was in Winter but still the city was full of life with many things to do , good shopping and busy restaurants. We will certainly return!

Nothing really ...a minor detail from ladies perspective a full length mirror would be appreciated.. but not SO important !

Lovely apartment in the heart of old Rouen

Not le Fiquet de Normanville! The host had to change our booking for another apartment which was excellent in every way. It was in fact nearer to the area of the puces St Marc where we were meeting a business contact. It was very comfortable and quiet, warm and cosy with every facility we needed. I was very impressed with the pure linen sheets and the extreme comfort of the bed. We had problems with the TV which would not work but Dominique personally came swiftly to fix the problem.

A tiny concern. My husband is a fire fighter, the apartment we stayed in is an ancient timber framed loft yet there were many candles ready to light throughout the property. Some tourists could be not as careful as they should be which could be a serious problem.
