Large room, clean and confortable, nice staff, very obliging.
Everything was generic (including breakfast), nothing to comment.

Location for my meetings in town was great - also well located for dinner in the evening.
Carpet in the room was threadbare.
Curtains in the room were stained and faded.
Shower head in the bathroom kept falling down
Handle on the side of the bath fell off.
Hanger for towel fell off - held on with mastic!

Nothing. It's a 2 Star Property ! Please please avoid.
Everything. There was no luggage boy and they didn't clean the room for two days we stayed. The phone in the room was not working and if we have to get anything then we have to go to the reception all the way from the sixth floor. Where is option staff was pathetically bad and had no idea what they were doing and what hospitality means. Please avoid this hotel at all cost ! There are many better hotels in Sofia

Location of the hotel is good, this is all.
The staff is very unprofessional. The rooms are old. Tables in the restaurant for breakfast are for 7-8 people, there are many small tables. Housekeeping is disgusting. The bed is uncomfortable and apparently with some insects. In the morning woke up all bitten. I have stayed in this hotel many times, this time was definitely my last.

The Festa Breakfast is very disappointing as the offering varies significantly from day to day. Some days there is a variety of fresh fruit but on others no choice at all. The main problem is that the dining room staff do not replenish the serving platters and this includes the cold meats, the bread rolls, tomatoes slices, cucumber etc. Their is a lack of supervision across all aspects of the Breakfast dining room and even at 0830h the offering is very poor. The hot food is also left unattended so fried eggs can have been sitting on the serving unit for 45 - 60 minutes. All round a very sub-standard performance.
On arrival and wanting to take a shower after a very long journey from South Africa. We found that the shower head in the bathroom was broken. This was reported as reception and a repair technician resolved the problem within 1 hour.
The chambermaid was not properly advised as to the number of guests as on two different days I had to get an additional bath towel myself from the floor linen room.(after hours} We had an 8 night stay but this seemed to make no difference.
It would be very nice if the rooms were equipped with a kettle to enable guests to make their own tea or coffee.

Nice, friendly and helpful staff, tasty breakfast, good location to oversleep on our way from Greecland, in general good value for money
As mentioned in other reviews, the breakfast were not regularly supplied with items that run out, the hotel room itself has been used for quite some time - a small renovation would help

We've stayed at this hotel before, but this stay was awful.Several times we were given dirty rooms walking up and down with all luggageWe were for a few nights, things didn't end with that, our card was stopped, we couldn't unlock our room, open the parking In the last room they gave us and everything had to be fine, the bathroom lock was broken and we concluded that we were two people. I could spend my vacation in the bathroom. There was a problem in the bathroom and another one when taking a shower the bathtub was leaking and flooding, there was water even in the corridor. We also had to ask for towels because they had forgotten to leave. They tried to comment on everything with a compliment cheap wine but I think they had to return the amount for at least one night

the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. breakfast was plentiful. there was artwork shown that was for sale. they also allowed me to check in early, which I really appreciated.
the room was a bit cold and took a little bit of time to warm up. when I addressed the issue to the housekeeping, they brought me a space heater, which I used practically every day of my stay. also, the placements of the power outlets could have been a bit better. having 2 by the light switch made it difficult to use if I needed to turn the lights on or off.

- good location
- kind personnel
- room size
- Very dirty carpet in the room
- A lot of dust on surfaces even after cleaning the room during our stay
- Dirty bedclothes for kids bed
- Kids bed was too small for a 4 years old boy (but actually we didn't expect any bed for our kid)
- Toilet paper was not added during room cleaning
- same menu on breakfast during our stay (4 days)
- considering this above the price is to high
