The proximity to central Manchester and the friendliness of the staff. The receptionist and the bar staff were really friendly. Plus the fridge in the room always makes me happy.
The broken lift.
4.1
The reception staff were very helpful
Very limited parking onsite and cannot be reserved, two public car parks nearby incredibly busy
4.1
Great location, spacious lobby, comfortable room
4.1
room - was sufficient space to work
Breakfast - decided against as expensive for what would have been coffee and toast
4.1
Well located and the room was really spacious. The gym was well equipped and the breakfast had great options.
There were contact lenses stuck on the skirting board and hair on the side of the shower that wasn’t cleaned away.

Ideally located for Mancheater Central. Room was comfortable and greata breakfast too!
4.1
The excellent service at the reception, especially Charlotte. She was very welcoming and friendly.
The pillow was too thin for my liking

Absolutely superb from start to finish. Sam on the front desk is definitely worth a special mention, thank you Sam. I always stay at the Doubletree, because it is always excellent, friendly staff, always happy to help, great rooms, food is always lovely. Can't wait to visit again. Faultless stay. Thank you all.
Nothing. It was faultless.

I have stayed in a few hiltons and this is by far my favourite. I even compared it to my stay in the piccadilly Mariott and how I preferred it here instead! Upon arrival we were checked in by Itzy, helpful not only then but throughout the whole stay, a credit to the staff truly, we were even convinced to book another night and he made it a smooth easy process allowing us to stay in the same room also. The room, on the smaller side but maybe because of the large king size bed. As we were away for my partners birthday the room was decorated accordingly with a balloon, card, drinks and snacks, this was the best touch and truly made the stay feel extra special. We added on breakfast also, a large variety to suit everyone with superb wait on staff! Definitely will be back 100%
Everything was perfect, no faults!

Location great for station and short walk into town. Rooms were airy and spacious.
Unexpectedly asked for a £50 refundable insurance deposit in case we damaged the room. Felt an uncomfortable policy.

Nice welcome at reception from Sofia. They even allowed an earlier check-in but would have stored our bags anyway. Nice cookie given.
Rooms spotless and beds VERY comfortable.
Easy walks to central Manchester.
Great breakfast with wide choice at the buffet,

Trevligt hotell. Bra läge. Bra restaurang och frukost.
Flera av lamporna i rummet blinkade/flimrade. Så har det inte varit vid tidigare vistelser på hotellet, så jag gissar att det bara var något tillfälligt fel.

Breakfast and room was good. Bonus on free consumption on mini bar
They dun have shower gel and surprise that they told me they run out of shower gel when request. Instead they provide body lotion in the shower. How can one bath with body lotion.

This hotel is very central for travel, shopping and nightlife.
I've been coming here for more than 10 years and whilst a small number of things have changed it is, in my opinion, slipping behind. Breakfast choices and quality have decreased, the bathroom fixtures are poor, room lighting poor etc. It is still a very good hotel but there is better out there for the same money, or less.

Brilliant central location very close to train station. Friendly and professional staff. The bed was so comfy! When we stayed check out was 12pm which was great for us. Will definitely stay again if I am ever back in Manchester.

Modern clean good breakfast
Bar food was under par - chicken flat bread dry hardly any chicken - shame it let the hotel down
4.1
It was easy to locate also very clean and staff attentive.
Firstly we really enjoyed our stay and I am not one to complain, the only issue was that I requested a high floor, quiet location room, however the room allocated on arrival was located on the 5th floor and in a extremely noisy surrounding space with doors being constantly banged which we had no choice but to unfortunately complain ,we were moved to a higher floor quieter room which we were most grateful for. Having stayed in other less noisy hotels the problem was the actual doors ,although they are fire doors they are exceptionally noisy on closing.

The hotel was clearly up to the standard expected with no issues.
Only enough room outside the hotel for two cars the spaces were designated loading purposes. Girls car park really too small, full at the time of arrival. Nearest car park to hotel was one minute drive away (NCP) but when we asked hotel staff for where to park they gave us printed directions to a Q park facility which due to the extensive civil works in Manchester City Centre the satnav could not find. In short no problems with Doubletree by Hilton Hotel but, car parking is an absolute nightmare and we will not stay there again!!

We arrived just after 10am (checkin wasn’t til 3pm) we were planning on leaving suitcase to go for a wander, asked at reception on the off chance the room might be ready… it was! We were very happy at that. Rooms clean and tidy, huge tv! Hotel is only a few mins walk from train station and tram stations. We were seeing a concert at old Trafford cricket ground and was easy to travel to. Breakfast buffet was really good plenty of selection.
Wasn’t really anything bad, there was an admin error which meant we were charged twice for breakfast but reception fixed this quickly

Brilliant breakfast, comfortable room, reliable wi-if.
Quite a lot more expensive compared with a year ago.
4.1
location, quality accommodation and good breakfast
wrong room allocated and had to push the point several times that breakfast was included in the price
4.1
Good location for our visit to an event at Co-op live.

The FREE stock of little treats in the mini bar! A lovely bonus! Well-designed room with everything where it should be for convenience. The bathroom was absolutely spotless and a dream design-wise too.
Pillows were lovely feather ones but not very supportive, bit it was really hard trying to find something we didn't love!
4.1
Location was great as I could walk with my heavy case(on wheels) to my train and Rabbies coach tour pick up. The staff were most attentive, kept my case while I did my tour and welcomed me back!
The one lift was out of order for 2 of the days I stayed

Great hotel. Great vibe. Clean room, great bed and nice shower. Great location too.
The only thing we didn't like wad the bathroom door shutting automatically. We had to keep it open with a chair. First time I've ever seen this !

It has a perfect location to explore the center of Manchester. It is easily accessible by public transport. The restaurant and the bar have a good quality.
The room was noisy, we could hear all the traffic when the window was open. Otherwise the room was too warm. The hotel is a bit overpriced in our view. Although we followed the instructions and hanged up the towels, they were anyhow changed every day. The mattress of the double bed was like a waterbed. If one of us turned over, the wave would roll down to the other and wake him/her up. We would have preferred two duvets instead of one huge one.
4.1
Close to rail station and central
Cleaner came to room after 5pm every night as we were trying to get ready to go out, so had to send her away so therefore room was never cleaned during our stay

Room, Staff, Breakfast
SInk in the room was a tad blocked so everytime the tap was on even if the plug hole was open it would fill up. But this certainly didnt take away from the experience.

Sentralt, rent, svært gode senger og hyggelig og imøtekommende personale. God frokost
Ingenting å mislike her

Todo es excelente.
Nada.

Clean, friendly, good food, polite helpful staff, couldn’t ask for more. The beds were really comfy and the pillows were soft and comfy. There was an iron and ironing board, a safe in the room, and a variety of hot and cold drinks along side a coffee machine with pods.
Unfortunately the toilet didn’t flush and the hairdryer didn’t work. Which we did inform staff of this., before leaving.
4.1
Location was perfect for a city break, everything within walking distance.
Seeing as it was our honeymoon and they had plenty of spare rooms, an upgrade would have been a nice gesture.
4.1
Perfect location for what I wanted from Manchester city centre. Large, comfortable and clean room.
The disabled spaces in their car park were blocked/being used for storing building supplies during refurbishment work. This was cleared by check-in time, however I'd managed to get on street parking beforehand. The staff went out of their way to rectify this, but it's totally unacceptable in this day and age for it to have happened in the first place.

Room was extremely clean and I appreciated the excellent shower
The breakfast buffet was expensive - for that, I don't expect corners to be cut by providing nasty cheap sausages. This is a key thing for business hotels I feel. I will be inclined next time to eat outside the hotel.
4.1
Hotel was fresh, clean and anonymous. Big bed, good bathroom.
Shower could use a non slip mat. On Sunday evening we were kept awake (friend staying in another room) until half 1 by a person shouting constantly in the street. Not the hotel’s fault (hopefully) but maybe a factor in choosing location.
4.1
Very updated, spacious common areas, central
Toilet flushing required strength
4.1
Convenient location in central Manchester and close to rail station. Staff at reception were exceptionally helpful when looking for places to visit in the city.
A little expensive
