The hotel was suitable for our needs. Prime location, nearby car parks which a good selection. Hotel did advise on Charles St but used the NCP about 2/3 min walk from hotel.
Staff members were helpful even going as far as arranging taxi for us
Only negative was the bed size. Maybe they have rooms with bigger beds as we just went for cheapest option but the double bed was just a standard/small double bed. However, it didn't effect our nights sleep

Location is very good
The reading light is too small to read properly

Location was great. Room was shabby, but acceptable.
Breakfast was good.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
Loud drunks at night outside my room.
Toilets did not have soft close lids.
Other doors did not have soft close so had slamming doors.

Great location. Staff were very helpful & polite & the rooms were clean. Breakfast was brilliant.
If I was being picky the beds were a little bit tired & the rooms have been the same for 15yrs but as I say that’s being picky.

Staff and reception were pleasant
The rooms were not as described. Really small could barely walk around the bed. One side of the bed was broken and was on a slant. Also beds were super tiny. Not worth the money. A friend was staying at the ibis 2 doors down, rooms were big and modern and only cost a fraction of the cost of this room. Wouldn’t recommend

Location was good for where I needed to be.
I liked literally nothing else.
There were marks on the carpet in my room, dents in the walls, peeling paint, a tiny window, the extractor fan in the bathroom looked like it was going to fall out of the ceiling, the toilet didn’t flush properly and the tub/shower head kept falling on me in the shower, temperature kept going from boiling to freezing and the tub itself was damaged.
See pics below.
This is just some of the unpleasant features of my room.
The building is laid out like a nursing home, the lighting is cold and clinical and the rooms are worse than dorms.
I cannot believe it cost £180 a night.

Stayed here before near the venue good location
The tv didn’t work, the staff were rude and unhelpful. Truly disappointing after stay here previously and having a good experience. The fact the hotel entered room with notice or permission and then couldn’t see a problem with this and night staff were rude and unprofessional . The lift frame is falling of the hotel smelled musty

Polite Staff
Room a bit small

Staff, location and cleanliness
Expected a car park as per booking. Com filters, only to find that the car parking was a public car park at an additional cost of £16.50

The bed was comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly
The room was quite tired tbh. We had breakfast the first day, and we were thankful we hadn't booked it for the second day as it wasn't the best

It was just ok, very basic but did the trick.
feels like a student accommodation and its not quite as nice as other 3 star hotels I have stayed in.

the shower ,it was either scalding hot or freezing cold and we couldn't regulate the temperature

The location for the event we were attending
The cleanliness of the room, the carpet had stains from previous accidents in the room. The door frame to the bathroom had stains & marks, obviously not cleaned. The desk, work surface was sticky …

The room was freezing, and heating was inadequate. Beds were uncomfortable. Loose fittings in the bathroom nearly falling on my head.

Breakfast was nice. Location was not bad. Bathroom was ok.
Hotel does not have anything.
For our 4 nights stay, we asked reception for scales(to weight out luggage) reception told as that it is broken.
Adaptor or plug for adaptors, they said no. Just go to Spar market to buy it. They even sent me to spar for a ligher when I asked for it. Not sure that hotel does not have any matches.
Room was not clean and super small. Do not believe photos. No space to sit.

the location is close to the station and university, So it’s convenient to roam around the city.
the staffs are so nice and the room is properly cleaned
the wall are quite thin so It would be a sound from other room or outside coming in the room

Staff excellent informed us of WiFi code and breakfast times on arrival , was sent a pre check In online room was spotless walk in shower double bed , tea and coffee facilities and biscuits , 24 hour snack bar on site staff 24 hours lifts to all floors , hotel has a bar never used it though ,
Next door playing loud music at 3am had to ring down to reception and at 4,am which affected me getting. A good night's sleep

very dirty and dated

the fire alarm was alarming at mid-night because someone was smoking. more ridiculously, the staff altitude was pretty bad and asked us to leave saying that the room is not safe anymore. he didn’t give us any compensation or apologies at all. what a ridiculous experience. nobody should choose this hotel, except the fact that he wants a new adventure.
