Checking out
The housekeeping was very poorly done, all the rooms I saw had multiple spiders and webs in the rooms, it was dusty, carpets not vacuumed and the shower not properly cleaned. In the pub/bar area spiders were hanging from the ceiling and even running on the table. This can be removed/cleaned, yes?
The small bathroom layout was awkward, you need to shuffle around the toilet to get into the very tiny shower, it was uncomfortable. The housekeeping is non existing.
The only late dining option is at the bar, surely the restaurant can stay open later than 08:30? Disappointing also, was the fact that not everything on the already limited bar menu, were available!
Finally, there were no AC's in any of the rooms which contributed to an uncomfortable stay during the hot weather experienced in July. The hotel did supply a fan, but it did not cool off the room.
We requested for a bar fridge, which was supplied, to keep our drink and food items cool.

Breakfast was ok. Good bar
The rooms are very basic in a huge hotel. I was there on business and I had no phone signal which was very inconvenient. Food in the restaurant was extremely poor for choice and quality and very expensive. Staff no prepared to offer any alternatives to the menu due to it being prepared off site. Disable parking was a long way from the reception

Lovely friendly staff
Lots of cobwebs on balcony. There could have been a visual divide between balcony's

Staff were very friendly. Our room had a door to access the decking outside which was ideal as we were travelling with our dog. Also, the hotel is in a good location to access different areas in the Cotswolds if you are travelling by car.
The room was extremely warm. There was a fan in the room but it didn’t make much difference. We also had no fridge, so the water/juice we had in the room was warm when we drank them due to the temperature of the room.

Nice and clean
A bit out of the way and very nosy, we were in next to a room which was banging and left tv on load in middle of the night so had to call room service. So no sleep, we asked to move and my partner was ill and we just wanted to sit outside but were told there was no option of this.

Mooie ligging en uitzicht op het meertje
Roomservice was moeizaam en eten niet bepaald geweldig. Kamer heeft geen airco maar staat overdag wel vol op de zon

Great location and good food.
I booked a deluxe room for a special occasion. When we arrived we were given a wheelchair accessible room, which was not needed. We asked if there was another room available, none were so we were moved to a standard room.
No air con in the rooms.

Breakfast good.
Booked the hotel because it had a swimming pool, but found you could only use it if you bought a spa treatment. Couldn’t get a table at the restaurant on the first night as one was closed.TV so small couldn’t lie in bed and watch.

Lovely location overlooking the lake, very peaceful though you could hear the traffic.
We were disappointed on checking in that there is no welcome pack to advise us of what is available. We couldn’t find out how to work the lights but no reply at reception so we trekked down. A very helpful maintenance man came and explained that we needed to put the card into a slot by the light switches which we hadn’t understood. It has certainly spoilt the start of our break which we could have done without and could have been avoided by simple instructions being provided in the room. Hopefully this will be rectified.
Also a very long walk through the corridors to get to our room where it could have been pointed out if we drove round the corner we could park just feet from the lift. I do think more care could be given on checking in.

Location was gorgeous, we had access to the spa facilities, and the bar was cosy in the evenings. Bed was insanely comfy and the room was large, would definitely book again.
Room was a bit hot and they didn't have air conditioning

Room was fantastic with a lovely view of the Lake. Breakfast was of a very good standard - Vegan options were really good. The Spa was modern and very welcoming.
Unfortunately, only 2 EV points were in operation throughout the visit. Despite paying to use them we were unable to as the same 2 cars seemed to be permanently plugged in. More EV points are required for an Hotel of this size! (We did find alternative EV points next door)

Everything! Spotlessly clean, our suite was lovely with magnificent views over the lakes. The breakfast was fabulous, so much choice. The spa was fantastic and the afternoon tea was delicious! We will definitely return!

The room, surroundings, and staff were all great.
The bathroom was very tired looking and the shower flooded the floor which could not be prevented.
The use of the facilities was also expensive when considering the cost of the room.

The location is perfect & the look of it is just beautiful. I felt very comfortable. This was my second stay here at the hotel. Both visits very different and stayed in a complete different room/area to the park. Loved both stays very much and have recommended to friends to stay here too.

Lovely location, fabulous rooms,
It as cold around the bar I asked if the fire could be put on but was told it wasn’t a fire just a feature?

Relaxed, lakeside hotel, beautiful views, friendly staff and great breakfast. We were celebrating a birthday and we were greeted in the room with birthday treats and a card, so thoughtful 😊
Rooms could do with a lick of paint.

The location was lovely
Lovely big bedroom it was cold in room but they bought us extra heater to room

View was great, bathroom was clean and the room was a good size. The staff were pleasant and the hotel surroundings and ambience were lovely.
The room was tired. There was mould near the bed and lots of marks around the place - it just looked a bit shabby. The drinks glasses weren't wrapped, so no idea whether they are clean or not, and not great considering they are kept in the bathroom. Lots of condensation on the inside of the doors, which dripped down and made the carpet wet around the doors.

Lovely place just needs a little refurbishment but it was clean and comfortable
The spiders were a bit scary, you should have mosquito blinds.
The bathroom was a bit too basic and the silicon was coming off the bath, sink, toilet etc

Absolutely great customer service from most staff, especially those on reception and in the spa section. Loved the location of the hotel to explore near by places.
The restaurant and bar menu lacked a choice of meal items.
There was dust under the desk from day one and still remained there after I had checked out.
The bathroom accessories could do with updating, shower head, bath tap and sink.

The breakfast was good, The staff were very good and the surroundings were lovely.
Our room only had a very small window which was too high to see out of and the decor in the room was a little dated.

View of the lake, breakfast was nice
Single beds instead of double, door had no lock, towel had brown stains all over, loud banging and noises from guests all through night

The restricted breakfast times, but we understand the need for this

Location lake view facilities peaceful surroundings local amenities swimming pool and spa lovely staff and lots to do or not just relax
They only take card payment even if its small like £2 which was annoying and couldn't charge my card to my room because it was a debit card frustrating
Also make sure you book Spa or restaurant as soon as you get there or before as it will be fully booked fast and you will miss out
Booked at the boat house restaurant got there to find out the menu was reduced because they had sold out of a lot of produse so had to go to the bar and eat there that said all the staff were great

location, breakfast, lake side room.
bathroom was a little tired
4.5 / 5.0
it had a lot of facilities to explore and was in a good location to travel around and visit different towns close by. The breakfast was a highlight as well as the pizza van by the lake. There was a really nice atmosphere and staff were all very friendly
The rooms aren’t very soundproof, noise is easily heard from room to room. I think people staying at the hotel should also be able to access the pool, sauna and steam room facilities even if not having a treatment
