We always feel so relaxed and welcome in an unbelievably beautiful setting with plenty of places to walk to, The staff are very helpful and the food is amazing.
There are no negatives at this country inn .
3.5
Food was in the restaurant was well cooked and thought through. A little more attention to detail would have been appreciated though when presenting a premium steak.
Room was a little tired and could use a "spruce up". Bar was lacking basic cocktail ingredients and premiums were charged for quality brands.
Training on the coffee machine would improve espresso product (All derivatives) as this was extreemly poor.
4.5
clean - staff were friendly & welcoming
lack of cocktails in the bar

Stayed at the Slaughters Inn on many occasions...we travel a lot and stay in many fine hotels and this has become one of our favourites...its located in such a beautiful quintessential English village we have been visiting for over 40 years and will continue to do so. They have a good team here and a great Chef which is always a bonus.
Keep up the good guys
Works for me (:

This property is located in a beautiful village, it is well kept and clean. Rooms are small but still ok. we had a shower over the bath which I’m not a fan of but totally understand with size of bathroom.

Nice hotel in a picturesque area opposite a very nice restaurant
We went for a relaxing night away from our 3 kids but we were woken at 7am by a beer delivery and it sounded like they were rolling the barrels directly into our room. We were above the bar so the noise was so loud and went on for about 20 minutes so it ruined our nights stay.

Lovely bath in the room!
Restaurant is excellent too.
We loved our stay!

A beautiful property with lots of character and tastefully decorated in a beautiful location
Unfortunately the outdoor area was full of wasps which made it very uncomfortable to sit outside but I know this is seasonal. Although the food was delicious I feel along with the drinks it was slightly overpriced.

Good Car parking on site .
Had a slight problem with room servicing, but an acceptable goodwill gesture was made when settling bill.
The prices of drinks a little on the expensive side
