Location is perfect.
Staff friendly and helpful
Staff rushed off their feet due to staff shortages.
4.1
The room was excellent, large bed and plenty of room to move around.
Breakfast was lukewarm and I saw three other people returning their breakfast because of this, the man on the next table agreed with me that the breakfast was not all that. I don`t believe their was enough staff to take breakfast orders and assist other customers to a table as we had to wait a while to get seated and also did some other guests. I didn't bother going to breakfast on the last day.

We stayed at the Kingscliffe three times in 2023 and this stay was as good as last year. The choice at breakfast is very good, fresh fruit, toast, juices and a good cooked menu. Smoked salmon with scrambled egg was the best I've had for a long time. Lovely smoked salmon.
The evening dinner choice was also very good. Well presented with very good service.
There is nothing that can be improved from our view point.

Everything
4.1
The location, neatness and environment
The shower keeps going off during bath, tv in the other room is so old and the remote not working well and no intercom or a written number to easily reach the reception.
4.1
Very well presented with clean rooms.
The overall look of the hotel both inside and out was of fresh clean lines, which was very welcoming.
The only fault was that the pillows were very hard which hampered a good night's sleep.
4.1
Breakfast was lovely and hot, staff so friendly, comfy bed, quiet room.
4.1
Good location, comfortable room, staff pleasant
Evening meal had a poor menu. Breakfast good.
4.1
Easy to find and plenty of parking. Comfy bed. Polite staff. Clean bedding/towels
The breakfast was inedible both mornings, no clean tables despite only a couple of diners staff talking and walking straight past looking at you while waiting to be seated. The room we had was dusty and bathroom needed a good scrub cobwebs everywhere unfortunately outside our room were the bottle bins that the staff use so early wake up
4.1
the location and friendly staff
Very short staff but very well organised.
very good breakfast
No negative comments

location
Bit tired in the bedroom. Shower sealant needs updating. Marks on fixtures and furniture. Paintwork on doors/walls needs cleaning , coffee/tea drips etc. but this did not detract from our enjoyable stay
4.1
The staff where very helpful and friendly the place was great the food was excellent
The only thing was the pillows were uncomfortable to sleep on everything else was great
4.1
all round in hotel! But only small problems is TV don,t have subtiles for two deaf person!

Location was excellent. There was no chair in my room which made it a little awkward as I had to sit on the bed. I paid £664.78 for my booking for 3 people for 2 nights. The hotel was offereing 2 people 2 nights including breakfast for £199, I paid fror 2 nights and even considering it was for 2 room the price difference was unacceptable.
A chair in my bedroom.

Room was clean and iron and ironing board provided. Bathroom was good size and shower was big
The bed mattress was rock hard and pillows were hard very uncomfortable and me and my husband and terrible night sleep amd left very tired

everything. Great location. lovely staff
nothing I didn’t like.
4.1
location , very good staff
it is just what we required , for us it was very good .
4.1
The service by staff was good.
We found on more than 3 or more ocasions that the cleanliness and condition of glasses cups teapots were not good, not cleaned properly and chipped
As above the staff were always helpful and pleasant.
I understand there is a shortage of domestic staff but the whole hotel is shabby due to dirty dusty communual areas and the uncleaned room that we stayed in, was below any standards I have ever experienced
4.1
nice location close to the beach
the bed was uncomfortable more of a thicker duvet would of been better

So we were welcomed by Mia, this was the best welcome we have had in a hotel, was so pleasent and made feel at ease. They where having problems with WiFi, being able to issue key cards, she ensured we got to are room took us through. The room was very spacious we had accessible room, was very clean, well presented. Really loved all the high ceilings in Kingscliff and the decor and wall art was great. Will be going again.
Nothing, happy with our stay.

Location was perfect
Food was lovely
Restaurant and catering staff were amazing
Reception team and manager made you feel very awkward and cusomer service skills were lacking which was a shame as the rest of the team was amazing.
4.1
It is a lovely hotel with an excellent restaurant and close to a beautiful beach..
The single bed was uncomfortable. The room rather bare with a very basic chair that wasn't comfortable to sit watching TV..The bathroom door wouldn't close so good job I was on my own.
4.1
Liked the location. Hotel very clean. Staff very friendly.
Room half the size than when we stayed before. No hand soap just a sachet of shower gel. No phone in room or biscuits the little things that we had before. There was only the bed to sit on not an armchair or sofa.
4.1
Nice welcome at reception, good first impression, was able to upgrade room with ease on arrival. The room was spacious and clean, the bed and pillows super comfortable.
There were noises late at night and early morning which sounded like furniture being shifted but in the end we felt it might be noises from water pipes.. The breakfast was nice but took a while to be delivered to the table, but the staff were very friendly and reacted well to requests from guests.

this is our second stay at the Kingscliff it didn’t disappoint.
the property is fresh, light and airy.
and decorated to a high standard.

We stayed here as we were attending a family funeral and were very pleased with our room. We were on the ground floor and the bed was very comfortable. Staff made our evening, in particular Joshua (I think that's his name) behind the bar. What a polite, well mannered friendly young man.
The buffet breakfast was very sparse. We had to ask for pastries and there were a few mini croissants made available, there was no orange juice, very little of anything. Next time we'll book without breakfast and go into town for it.
4.1
Location for what we needed
The food does not match up to the hotel standards.
4.1
Lovely large ground floor room. Excellent bathroom facilities (- I am disabled). Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Beautiful decor and very comfortable surroundings. Food delicious. Super location.
