Shower was good
Very unclean, smelt of cigarettes on arrival. Broken window next to the front door with bits of glass still there. Mouldy bread in cupboards, every draw and cupboard needed cleaning. Missing sections of the living room blind that prevented privacy. Dog hair on sofa cushions even though it said no pets. No key code given for entry to the park. Rubbish from previous tenants left under chairs and beds. No tv remote. Beds weren't changed from last guest, crumbs and hair present. Drawers had child level had superglue and other items dangerous to children.

Lodge was nice kids loved it people friendly
1st time there however found it so expensive ontop of what I paid for the family to stay , along with not being up to standard for the price where we stayed in.
Prices were sooo expensive

This is a lovely spacious caravan with two bathrooms perfect for family or group hoilday. Staff are very helpful and supportive. Very lovely location. We wish we stayed longer!!
If you are coming with family I would suggest you book in with the site to get passes as we wasn’t told we needed these to use the swimming pool and the facilities and by the time we release some things were booked . But we had such a lovely stay anyway we did other things also.
I love every part of the property but there was no cooking pot just pans if we known we would of brought our own. It made cooking a difficult for us as a family of five we prefer too cook more than eat out especially with young children and the cost of living

It was our first caravan experience, and we feel fortunate to have chosen it. It was bigger than we expected. The caravan park is enormous, and people are super friendly. There was a swimming pool, playground, shop and everything we needed. The communication with the host was terrific.

The caravan was close to st osyth beach and it was clean with good facilities
The was an electrical fault on a light switch which caused a power trip. We were not warned about it. We did not feel safe. The vendor had placed sellotape over the switch but as it was dark when we arrived we hit the switch tripping out all the power. I was then asked by the vendor to open the main electricity box with a kitchen knife and reset the trip switch. The gas boiler then needed to be topped up with water as it had lost pressure (presumably a leak) the vendor asked me to take off the boiler cover and twist a switch to top-up the boiler with water. I didn't feel comfortable with this. The boiler cover wasn't secure and the switch was broken. Neverless we managed to get heating and hot water but only for one night as the following morning the gas ran out..though the vendor initially claimed they had recently changed the bottle and made us try several attempts to restart the boiler. Despite us also pointing out that the gas hob was also not working. We were left a whole day with no heating, showers or cooking facilities. We found the vendor initially helpful but then dishonest and finally abusive. We later did some checks and found that the vendor was well known as a scam artist and found poor material on the internet. (Google Lady Sharryn, Sharon Brotherton or Sasha Fontaine as aliases) we also found the caravan was for sale which might indicate why the faults were not fixed. We left a day early cold, hungry and unwashed but despite this the vendor was unwilling to offer any refund which we thought was very unreasonable. Be aware booking.com can do nothing to help you as the contract is with the owner. This was very unfortunate and a mistake we will not repeat.

Lovely home and good heating as needed it
When water log there’s no path way to get in doors so can be tricky for anyone not great on there feet and can’t drive right up to door as could get stuck so path way would be good.
