Loved the ambience of this place. Cecelia was exceptionally welcoming, hope it all works out for you. And Marta sorted out our booking despite the language barrier! Very convenient for Santander Ferry Port.
Pet charge was borderline expensive at 15 euro. Normally pay between 5 and 10 euro.

the hosts were amazing, looked after us so well when we needed an additional night due to ferry cancellation. the food was amazing and wine really gorgeous and an incredible price for such lovely vino. It was beautifully quiet with quirky local bars within east walking distance. breakfast was lovely - all food freshly made and delicious
nothing - it was terrific, just off main routes

Well where to start? I could fault nothing at this wonderful place, Maria and Jose were just the most lovely people. As it was my birthday and our wedding anniversary when we stayed Maria upgraded our room which was soooo lovely. The breakfast was excellent, the restaurant food was excellent, the 'house' was so cosy, warm and lovely, with beautifully decorated rooms - just wonderful!!!
It was perfect.

Lovely location, just off the main road - great spot for a stop over on the way to Santander. Beautiful, quirky, olde worlde room full of charm. The staff were so helpful and friendly - check in was quick and we were given our room even though we were early. Lots of free parking and beautiful grounds. The wifi was free and very robust. The breakfast was delicious and served (not buffet style).
This hotel allow dogs. Unfortunately, there were two dogs (with two different guests) who barked at each other whenever they met. We could clearly hear one of the dogs when he was in the hotel room. Both dogs were in the dining room at several times during the evening. The staff sat us in an adjoining room to the dining room - but all we could hear throughout our meal was the yappy little dog who was at the dining table with its owners.. It ruined our meal. I am an animal lover - but I don't want to dine with them and I don't want to listen to their yapping and whining when I'm dining. Unfortunately, I would not return to the hotel due to their dog friendly policy.

The friendly reception with good English spoken. Very tastefully decorated bedroom with lots of space. Just off the main road with great parking.
Fantastic evening meal with lovely fresh produce.
Breakfast was very enjoyable too and beautifully presented.
Highly recommended.
Shower was a bit awkward trying not to get water on the floor

Excellent for an overnight, pet friendly, stop en route to the Santander Ferry Terminal. Only a few minutes off the main A8 road and very easy to find via Waze sat nav. A lovely tranquil and verdant setting overlooking a valley. Seemed to be next to a dairy farm with cows grazing nearby. So expect the sound of cattle in the distance plus some farmyard odour in the air. Not a problem in the slightest for us and the lawn/grounds were fenced off which allowed our dogs to roam freely. Ate dinner in the restaurant; good menu to choose from and food was very well presented/tasty. Good continental breakfast meant we left ready for the road!
Nothing disagreeable.
