Spacious clean room, good location, lovely breakfast
Room was very hot
3.9
Breakfast was great and the lady in charge was fantastic. Room was a great size with comfortable beds. The shower was really really good (although it was in the bath)
The service for our evening meal was poor . There seemed to be a lack of customer service knowledge and a lack of supervision
3.9
Check in was sent by text so I was able to do this before I arrived, which was great as it saved me filling in the forms on the reception counter. I didn't eat at the hotel but the restaurant and bar looked very nice.
The Main shopping centre was still under some sort of construction, but this did not affect my stay or the hotel.
3.9
The reception staff were exceptional, excellent attitude, friendly and available as soon as you approached the counter.
The room needed an update but that wouldn’t stop me staying again as it was very clean. Wld have a liked a king size bed though instead of a double.
3.9
The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We did not have the breakfast at the hotel
Nothing to say really, we parked at the sainsbury's next door so parking was not an issue.
3.9
I did ask bookin.com for single beds, but the hotel did not get this information. Breakfast was excellent.
Windows do not open far and the room was a little warm during the night.
3.9
The location and accessibility of the Hotel to the city centre and harbour area was great and the hotel itself was clean, modern, comfortable and the staff were excellent!
No complaints

Breakfast fine
Bar shut at 11pm had to rely on room service even though friend withus

The food was lovely and a good choice. The room had nice view but had not been checked, there were hairs in the bath, plus the dust around the bed was thick and clearly hadn’t done in a while. The fridge in the room had something spilt in it and had good hard where it had been there that long. But to be fair it got sorted with a couple of visits.
3.9
The hotel is situated nicely close to the main attractions in Plymouth and ideally suited for the railway station.
The food served was excellent, both for breakfast and evening meal. and the bedroom was comfortable.
3.9
Convenient to centre, cheaper than another highly regarded chain of hotels
No negative feedback
3.9
Staff, facilities and food.
Whilst the stay itself was really good, I returned home to find that, for some reason there were 2 rooms booked in my name. I was subsequently billed the full price again due to non arrival, despite me staying in the room I had booked back in Dec.
3.9
A lovely hotel with very helpful staff. A good central location with help given when needed directions
Nothing apart from being woken up at 8am by housekeeping, and then hearing them crash about in the room next to us cleaning
3.9
Clean hotel with friendly staff.

Good location
Friendly staff

Great location.Large bedroom well apppointed.Very friendly and helpful staff.Very good breakfast.
3.9
It is a safe clean hotel, Centrally located. It offers all one needs when staying away
Parking, the hotel has its own parking but for some odd reason the staff was reluctant to mention it. I felt as if they were more keen for us to park in Sainsbury's car park.On insistence they mentioned their car park and then charged £7.50. It left a distaste in the mouth.
3.9
Location, quiet and you could store your bags the next day
Slightly cheaper breakfast
3.9
Room was spacious and clean, tea and coffee facilities with the bonus of biscuits! Great choice of foods for breakfast, and again, a lovely room, spacious and clean. Receptionist was lovely, very helpful and very kind. Location was perfect, easy walking distance to main shopping centre, Plymouth Hoe and the university. Will definitely be returning.
3.9
Excellent value for money, convenient location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Will stay again.
The parking isn’t great but understand it’s difficult to improve it.
3.9
The location was great and the room very pleasant. We ate a good evening meal and a lovely breakfast. Service was efficient and pleasant. I would recommend the hotel.
It was slightly noisy after 4.30 in the morning but only intermittently.
3.9
Central location for what we wanted.
Free Parking available, right outside the main entrance.
Excellent value for money.

I enjoy being here -staff are frierndly and food is good. The room i had was large and comfortable and its near to both buses and railway. Views are also good out of many of the windows.
Very little -my window view included the carpark -but previous rooms have seen the Hoe- not complaining, as buildins all have more that one wall!
3.9
lovely room very relaxing
it stated free parking during our stay. They should be more explicate and inform customers that there is limited car parking and when gone you have to pay £7.50 per 24 hours to park in the adjoining car park

Breakfast was ok
As a disabled person I was NOT informed that the way into the hotel from the underground parking was up 2 flights of stairs, after I had struggled to climb up the stairs, the receptionist informed me that I could had gone out through the security door and up the pavement to access the hotel, in the rain!!! Why was that not explained? Or a notice by the stairs?
The wast bin in the bedroom had not been emptied the room was cold, when the receptionist was informed she did arrange for a small electric heater to be brought up.

Location
1st room on arrival tank of smoke.so much so I nearly rebooked elsewhere and then we called reception. They moved us to 2nd room and heard traffic and banging throughout the night and a fire alarm early hours and waited and hour for toilet roll. A very restful night.
All in all we left feeling unrested and not overly happy and reception were happy for a key drop and quick bye, clearly not interested in our stay.
Accommodation more suited to a 3*, due to service and room very dated.
Also £4 for a self service coffee is ridiculous.
Bonus free parking on offer when we stayed. Location close to town and Pavillions.

The room was basic but comfortable.
There was a blood stain on one of the pillow cases which was an unpleasant surprise!

Breakfast excellent value. Staff attentive especially Gemma on reception and Loki in the restaurant.
