Food was excellent. the staff were super friendly and professional.
We visited Blenheim Christmas Lights and the location could not have been better.
Nothing really , everything met our expectations. There is no on site parking but we were able to park outside for just four pounds.

The room is very tired and needs a lot of attention , there are no charging facilities in the room which is disappointing as needed to check on family and heating needs updating

The room was a bit too hot.

The food was exceptional especially the dinner! We had high tea and two breakfasts and all were some of the best on our trip.

Everything about the hotel staff, location, good feel when we walked in made very welcome.

The location is great
The room was basic, with dated furniture; the floor was not level and dipped in the middle. The pillows were flat and thin. The walls are paper thin and you can hear the conversations in the rooms next door along with the sound of the water pumps when a tap is turned on or toilet flushed.

Parking quite a problem.
Restaurant not open on Tuesday evening
Tuesday on arrival we were told we had no neighbours, Wednesday at 06:30 could hear sounds from above, a little unnerving.

Quirky hotel ,great food and staff.
4.0 / 5.0
The courtyard and the bedroom size
it is a bit tired, with the windows open because there is no Air Conditioning surprisingly noisy on the street side of the hotel
4.5 / 5.0
hotel central located easy parking and access to the town centre ,breakfast very good , good selection ,room a little bit old fashioned but this matched the period of the town and the surrounding area ,room spacious and very comfortable ,pubs and restaurant's all very close by ,staff very friendly and accommodating
only thing I could complain about was the weather ,and that's not the hotels fault

Location and old cottage feel
Food. Overpriced and lamb (dinner) and smoked salmon (breakfast) was not good quality meat.

The location for Blenheim Palace was perfect - the main reason for visiting. Also for other restaurants & pubs.
Didn't eat breakfast there as too expensive for menu offered. Ate breakfast in local cafe for excellent value.
Bright green signs outside. looked cheap and tacky (shows navy on web)
Room & bathroom too hot and unable to regulate
No complimentary biscuits in room.
Housekeeping took away half used hand & body lotion and didn't replace. Had to ring reception for more

location,staff
nothing to report although parking was a bit difficult. not the properties fault and they were very helpful
4.5 / 5.0
Clearly the hotel was quiet because my room got upgraded for free, shame I wasn't there longer to enjoy it more.
No dinner facilities available due to their kitchen being refurbished was inconvenient but they still provided breakfast.
The fact they didn't have parking was inconvenient but directions to the nearest car park was provided

quirky old hotel
good breakfast
a little noisy outside( not anything to do with hotel but still something to be aware of)
2.0 / 5.0
The location was excellent.
no information was provided to indicate that a major refurbishment was taking place. I had treated my daughter for Christmas and it was something of a disappointment. the nicest part was the entrance to the hotel which had a roaring fire but no chairs to sit on by the fire?

Fabulous location, unique feel that comes with an old building, matched with a modern feel, staff very welcoming and professional , restaurant was very good.
the last update to furnishings, like carpets, chairs etc was clearly a number of years ago, as everything is looking a bit worn.

location was good, the staff was very pleasant and professional, dinner was excellent.
4.0 / 5.0
lovely quiet elegant ambience with lots of nooks and crannies! Friendly staff. Great location.
Small and narrow stairs made it difficult to carry up luggage. No temperature controls or ventilation in room made for a chilly night. Very soft bed.
4.0 / 5.0
Excellent breakfast
Room was pricey for a superior room and desperately needed repainting bathroom was superb
