Room was spacious and clean, bed was very large, lovely bedding and super comfy. Shower was great, warm and powerful. Breakfast was delicious.
Most of all the staff were very friendly and attentive.
All round it was a great stay and an excellent location for us to have a few days away.
4.5
Good location. Great room size and bed huge. Clean. Breakfast pretty good.
Bit noisy from upstairs and water running for toilet and shower etc. could have done with ‘added extras’ for the cost eg biscuits as we went straight out to show at Blenheim and everything was shut when we came back.
4.5
Nice decor good position
Stayed in deluxe king room which was nice though at £180 for one night expected biscuits etc with the coffee and tea tray and more choice of tea varieties . I ordered cooked breakfast with fried eggs which were bit burnt and very crispy on the bottom. Had to ask for butter sauces etc short of staff I think as took a long time though the staff were friendly

Great bar, large bedroom, lovely bathroom with Le Froy Brooks bathroom figments
The bar closed too early, the lighting in the bathroom was poor

Staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Facilities were excellent the only problem was traffic noise but this did not keep us awake
Traffic noise

The rooms were beautiful, the food was excellent and the staff were so friendly and lovely. The village is stunning and it is very close for visiting Blenheim Palace.
4.5
The staff were friendly, efficient and professional. The bed was very comfortable. Nice designs.
More design over practicality. Lighting in the bathroom needs to be brighter around the sink area and no lights over the dressing table.
4.5
The Hotel and restaurant. Very cosy and welcoming. Staff and manager so helpful and went the extra mile. Room was gorgeous and food amazing
No hotel parking, only public parking

The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely room, which was very comfortable and so much attention to detail
We were in Room 1 which was fantastic in every way apart from the big stain on the sofa which put us off from sitting on it.

Excellent full cooked and Granola breakfasts. Large and very comfortable bed. Pleasant and helpful staff. good atmosphere in the evening. Good value short bus journey into Oxford
Lack of parking

Woodstock is a lovely place , but the accommodation whilst ok. Wasn’t quite what we hoped!
So a little disappointed
We knew it’s was a pub restaurant with rooms …. But it’s not pub priced accommodation.
Not as clean as it could be , couldn’t escape the smell of cooking… the earliest you can get breakfast is 9 am so missed both mornings…. There was a problem with paying for our stay, we assumed they had already taken payment…. And no one there when we left at 8.15 … but quickly sorted by phone after we had left

The staff was extremely helpful. When we checked in, the woman at the desk brought a fan/cooling system into our room; she carried it up one flight of stairs.
One issue that will effect UK hotels going forward (since things are getting hotter in the UK in summer now) is the lack of air conditioning. This hotel has only one room with a/c, and we didn't get it. The staff was extremely helpful in bring up a fan/cooler, but overall, this is an issue that all the hotels in the UK should consider.

Staff, bed & bathroom.
Threadbare curtains, poor quality carpets, fraying towels, NO car park, street parking only, even though I was told there was parking. No view, even though room advertised with view. No milk or water in our room, not Deluxe as advertised.

Fabulous room and breakfast. Staff were lovely

Lots of space
No shower. Slightly slow breakfast service

Not applicable as booking cancelled on arrival,
Parking not provided, only remote offered on arrival unsuitable due to health reasons.
Full menu not available as advertised at time of booking .
The room was not suitable for a tall person and was a converted attic.

Lovely building with an excellent pub. loved the location, the breakfast and the general vibe! staff were friendly and helpful.
the hotel said it had parking which it doesn’t, we were told we had to park in a nearby car park (which was only 12 hr maximum stay) which was very full when we arrived. The room air con also didn’t work well but we managed to get windows open. The shower was discoloured and could do with a refresh.
4.5
the room was absolutely beautiful, fantastic bathroom, lovely extra touches, very impressed
the breakfast was disappointing, no fresh bread ( sliced supermarket bread) and the cooking wasn’t great

great location.
Breakfast quite good
Room not quite as appealing as it looks in the picture

Our deluxe double room was very stylish and spacious, with a large king bed and separate seating area. The bathroom is a good size and very clean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful — they could not have been nicer. Extra touches like your choice of loose teas and milk in your room, bathrobes and great toiletries really added to our stay. Breakfast is well cooked and there is a good choice of options from the restaurant’s menu. Blenheim Park and Palace is walking distance, and even though Woodstock is small, there is a good assortment of restaurants, pubs and shops available.
The Wi-Fi is unsecured. There was a bit of noise from the bar while it was open. There is some wear and tear on the carpets and some surfaces in the room.

What an exceptional team - everyone was friendly, professional and helpful.
A lovely spacious room with the added bonus of a bath tub. Very much enjoyed our stay. Great pizzas, cocktails and breakfasts.

a bit noisy
4.5
Great location in the town as we could easily walk to Blenheim Palace. Cosy feel to the bar restaurant area with real fires. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Extremely comfortable bed - like sleeping on a fluffy cloud!
Nothing really, although a brighter light in the bathroom would make it more functional.
4.5
Super friendly staff, great food and drink in the pub downstairs, the room was really roomy and comfortable, and the products fantastic. great value and quality.
Not a complaint for us but I would note there are quite a lot of steps to get up to the rooms, something to note for people with mobility issues or heavy bags. Didn’t affect our stay though.
4.5
absolute perfect stay
