Location was great, lovely surroundings, facilities good inside the barn
Local information pack would be helpful

Beautiful rural setting in a quiet village. The Barn had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It was also a pleasure to greeted by the beautiful dog on our arrival. Felt like home.

We wanted to spend the weekend in the Cotswolds and this was a perfect location. The property had all the amenities we required and was very comfortable and it was easy to park. There was a suggestion in the property to visit the Worton Garden Kitchen which we walked to and what a little gem that was. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Cassington and the surrounding area.
Nothing to complain about really. The stairs were a bit difficult for my husband who has a prosthetic leg, but he still managed to get up them.
4.2
Nicely appointed and characterful. Lovely location.
Thank you. A lovely overnight stay.
The essential areas were clean which is the main thing but to give you feedback, there was a greasy grill pan in the oven and the bedroom carpet was quite stained and the velux windows dirty so the place didn’t feel thoroughly clean.
4.2
Wonderful location, very clean and spacious cottage for 2 humans and a dog, well equipped open kitchen, beautiful garden, very quiet setting, the church bell that went off every hour wasn’t a problem for us.

Quirky little cottage with good facilities and clean.
Bed was a little uncomfortable (that could just be my personal opinion of course)
Worded as a “luxury barn house” we would have expected coat hangers and hanging space. There really was not a lot of room around the bed once you put your cases and clothes in the bedroom.
Also really didn’t expect to see mini sachets of instant coffee and horrible mini uht milk pods for the price you pay to stay. We have been travelling a couple of months now and more often than not have been left fresh milk and fresh coffee for the following morning at least (sometimes a Nespresso machine and a few pods which being a coffee lover should be standard) Also some salt and pepper in the kitchen would have been nice.
There is a bit of road noise and a hourly bell ringing (24hr) from the nearby church. So not ideal if your a light sleeper unfortunately.

The property was not luxury in any way. Basic and nice facilities. Fully stocked with all things you would need.
You can’t control your own heating. It’s so patronising. I have never come across a place where you can’t turn up or down the heating yourself, you have to ask!! We arrived and it was cold. The heating was off and not set at 22 as they told us. We messaged the hosts and were ignored, despite reading it. Eventually they turned it on remotely. Next day, same problem…not warm enough and bad weather so we couldn’t go outside much. Eventually they turned it up, but didn’t msg back.
Dirty towels…I sent a photo. Got a standard sorry. Owner response was there was a spare stuffed in a draw. I told them there weren’t, but they never responded after that so we had to buy a towel as couldn’t face the hassle of messaging them over and over for basic things
THE BELLS - This bedroom is a few yards from a church, nice you might think….the bells ring 24 hours a day, on the hour. We were woken every hour, even with ear plugs…a nightmare and this should be clear in the info.
Small bed, not king size and v uncomfortable. If you are over 6ft forget it.
I tried to contact the guy who manages the property after are stay to try and resolve as I don’t like leaving poor reviews but he wasn’t interested and told us to complain to booking.com….so we have.

Everything was suitable for a relaxing and calm stay. I just recommend taking the experience of cooking as the city is a bit far for people without vehicle. It would be so lovely to bring your own groceries and enjoy your evening cooking and drinking in such a lovely house. There are tables outside where you can sit and enjoy eating or drinking but it is a very quiet neghbourhood so be mindful of minor noise.

it was conveniently located
noise from the neighbour kept us awake on the first night

the property was immaculate and absolutely beautiful , very convenient for Blenheim and a delight to relax in
it was a mission to get the key , the kids of the property owners sorted us out though .
No reflection on the property but the walking distance local “The Chequers inn” is BY FAR the worst pub I’ve ever been in .

beautiful location. beautiful decor and layout inside. very cosy.
the bed could do with changing ideally. quality bed I’d give this stay a 10. with some quality duvet and covers. the quality of the actual bedroom doesn’t match the price of the stay. I stay in hotels and holiday let’s on a weekly basis. so I get my fair share of beds to test.
really good shower. everything else
was fine.

Lots to like, beautiful location and easy/short journey to the park and ride for Oxford. Loved the chickens and eggs. Pretty little house. Loads of birds/wildlife to watch from the window.
Sadly, didn't live up to the statement of luxury. Quite dirty in places, things that hadn't been cleaned a in while. Nothing says luxury like uht milk cartons and a pin board in the living room. No where to hang your clothing but a small coat rack with no coat hangers. The biggest disappointment was the interaction with the owners. We still hadn't received the key box code an hour before our planned arrival, I needed to text, email and call several times before I had a response. I would have been very concerned about this if I had a longer journey to home. Also, contacted them as the only frying pan was filthy and thick with grease, after trying to clean it with the equipment provided, the grease was still evident and obviously from an animal source, not pleasant for vegetarians, so I contacted the owner who basically did nothing to resolve our problem. We ended up eating out a lot, which defeated the plan of having self catering. The basic kitchen equipment, pretty much all needed cleaning before we were happy to use it. Sad really as others reviews looked promising. As others have said bed not comfortable (for us but that's person preference) and church clock may put some people off.

The barn is really cute. The downstairs living area and kitchen are great. We had a comfortable snuggle on the sofa while watching a movie. We made dinner and breakfast in the kitchen rather than going out. Thank you for the eggs, they were delicious.
The bed was too small for me at 5'7 and definitely for him at 6'1. We didn't have a restful sleep and were both very stiff and achy the next morning. Because of the lack of sleep we actually already got up at 6am. The church next door was a definite disadvantage. Every hour even throughout the night the bells go off. And they are loud! With an uncomfortable sleep, we wished there was a bathtub instead of a shower to relax the joints. Or maybe slept on the sofa in hindsight.

it was clean, modern country feel with home comfort feeling. It was amazing how what they fitted in the space. it was in a lovely setting and easy to find and get access to
nothing really, I was maybe expecting a few more utensils in the kitchen based on previous properties I’ve stayed in, but that’s me being picky, especially when there were some extras I would t have expected

Homely, modern appliances, gorgeous views, nice and warm. Loved the kitchen island, also very handy fully equipped kitchen. very random window in the bedroom floor down to the kitchen but a nice addition.
just a warning there are church bells that go off all night, it’s did disturb over night but if you’re a heavier sleepier you probably won’t notice it at all. didn’t really notice it at all in the day only overnight. other than that it was perfect

A Beautiful and Cosy Cottage - It was perfect for our Christmas break.

it was just a beautiful barn, a tad on the expensive side but 100% worth it!
it was a little hard to find, but the owner was very understanding and guided us there!
4.2
not as comfortable as our home
noisy, walls to thin could hear next door, heating didn’t seem to work properly, flight path from air base, odour from under stairs cupboard.

Beautiful presented cottage in a lovely rural position
Everything you could wish for
Especially like the chickens roaming around

Very lovely property in a beautiful little village just outside Oxford. Had everything we needed for a romantic night away.

The barn is tastefully decorated, in a lovely quiet location just 15 minute drive from Oxford. The fresh eggs from the hens were a great touch.
Nothing! Will stay again if ever visiting the are again.
