Incredibly friendly welcome from Mike and a great breakfast. Large comfortable room. Opposite Queen's College Cork campus and easy 25 minute walk to the city centre or 30 seconds from a bus stop. On site parking if needed.
Clean but simple room furnishing. Good value compared to other accommodation (RoI is very expensive).

Breakfast was decent, I would have expected more for the price paid per night. The rooms were spacious and the shower was lovely. Included heater in the room was an appreciated bonus.
The tv didn't work despite it being an advertised part of the package. It rained a lot while I was there, and there were leaks in the window which meant that the room obviously didn't stay as warm as I would've liked

Lovely hosts; delicious cooked breakfast of perfect scrambled and really good bacon. Comfortable bed. Lovely hot water.
The room decor looked tired and the carpet needed replacing; there was a shower curtain which made showering uncomfortable - it blew in and stuck to you. The room looked over a tiny courtyard. I would have loved a view. It was far from the station but there was a bus service.

If you don't like english breakfast you won't find so many things.

Very close to CUH and UCC and within possible walking distance of restaurants and shop. It is also on a main bus route (208 from CUH). Owners are very friendly and accommodating. The room was cosy and warm and I was given a bottle of water when I arrived. I left before breakfast but it did smell really nice. Ensuite is a nice size. Shower is spacious and the water was nice and hot. They were fully booked but I didn't hear any noise from other guests. It was very quiet.
It could do with a little freshen up and new, unused tablets of soap in the ensuite, but these are just really small things. Not all of the TV channels work.

The Guesthouse is located right outside the UCC, which makes it very convenient for any business over there. The interior is simple, but comfortable, especially the bed, and the electric power shower was appreciated. The cooked breakfast is cooked fresh and the landlord is very hospitable and kind. It's less than 20 minutes walk to the town centre.
There was no power outlet next to the desk area. Breakfast choices a bit limited, but OK.

I liked the location. I liked the ease of check in. I liked the breakfast and the staff.
Room had a funny smell and there was a light on just outside the window during the night.

Michael and Maura are the loveliest people. Nothing is too much trouble for them 🙂 bud stop to the right of guesthouse takes you to town or the hop on and off bus stops outside too and over the road for return journey
Nothing to dislike , beds the most comfortable and cool sheets , towels and bedding changed regularly

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Great to chat with locals while staying there. Say hello to Alfie too. Spotlessly clean and an easy walk to everything in Cork. Highly recommend.

I love the location as it's away from the buzz of the city but still close enough. The owners and the stuff are so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is so good

Kind staff. The room was spare, but comfortable. I enjoyed the shower. Free parking. I was allowed to leave my car parked on the premises after I checked out, while I explored the city on foot. Very close to the university.
Maybe I misunderstood how breakfast was supposed to work - I was told it ran from 7:30 to 10 AM, but when I showed up around 9 AM, there was no one in the dining room. The food available was a mediocre continental breakfast, including some very sad looking fruit. I thought that breakfast was to order, but no one came to take my order, so I ate a piece of bread with cheese and jam.

Comfortable room with desk, ensuite bathroom, TV set, fixings for tea in your room. Lovely owner, very friendly and helpful. Simple but filling breakfast of poached egg, toast, sausages, orange juice, cereal, and buns.
Wish there were some pastries like croissants but it was still a good filling breakfast
