The entire property is just lovely! From the lobby to the courtyard to our rooms, we enjoyed every aspect. The lobby is full of comfortable couches, has a fire burning, and a pianist in the evenings. Delightful! Our room was very comfortable and spacious, and the bed was perfect as far as comfort and quality of linens. Everything was very clean. Turn-down service was a nice touch, as were the snacks provided in our room at arrival. The bathroom was also very spacious and had fabulous water pressure. Parking was very easy and the concierge was very helpful with recommendations as well. It was so nice to have a comfortable spot to rest after a busy day sightseeing and my family enjoyed both the pool and jacuzzi in the evenings.
We didn't dine at the hotel so we can't comment on that. It was a little far from downtown. Although we could walk (and we did) we also drove a couple of times and finding parking was a bit of a challenge.

Lovely setting, beautiful interior, excellent room. Food and bar were great. The staff could not have been nicer. Special praise to the barman John and the waitress Julie, they went out of their way to be helpful, friendly and provided great service. They are an asset to the property.
They could stock the mini bar in the room.

excellent service and food.

The breakfast was fantastic and had a huge honeycomb available for you to try. The facilities were great with a lovely pool, iced lemon water and a great outdoor hot tub. The dinner was exceptional, really delicious and the bartender nailed my sweet Manhattan cocktail perfectly.
All the staff were so friendly too - especially Frank!
All the staff were really very friendly, however some of the room service staff were quite noisy in the mornings chatting amongst themselves which was a little disruptive.

Amazing hotel. Great facilities etc.
Nothing.

The bed was extremely comfortable! The leisure center opening hours were brilliant. The staff were very friendly and provided mostly 5 star service without been too much on top of you.
The standard room was extremely pricey at €330 for just 1 midweek night not including breakfast.
I had originally emailed for a birthday cake to be delivered in the restaurant for desert but unfortunately it wasn’t delivered. I had to ask staff later to deliver it to the bar. But the staff were very good on-site and sorted the situation promptly. It just would have been nicer if it was in the restaurant.

The staff are exceptional at this hotel especially JOHN and TonI. Everyone is so friendly and sweet from the doorman to the service staff to the maid who clean and change the room daily. A truly fabulous and wonderful experience and I especially loved the books in the library. The doorman we’re always putting logs on the fire in the evening and there was always a wonderful real fire burning beside two fabulous leather chairs .
Fabulous Food, Amazing scones. Beautiful newly refurbished room and shining marble with a rainforest showerhead and handheld wand. They even had Netflix on the TV which surprised me. I was surprised by the local entertainment in Cork as well I actually got tickets to see a concert by Van Morrison and within the week Elton John was actually playing there as well. They have an airport for those that want to fly in from other parts of Europe.
The Staircase in the hotel is absolutely spectacular.
The whole place is a rare treasure.
The floral arrangements in hotel Were Lilies that smelled like very strong perfume. A minor detail on the overall scheme of things, but one apparently that they got a lot of feedback on the days is I was there.

Frank the porter was wonderful and extremely helpful. the location was excellent
the wifi was down for 24hrs but instead of being able to assist with an alternative solution I was left to find my own way of identifying a cafe where there might be internet to send important work emails.

FOOD WAS EXCELLENT- STAFF MOSTLY PLEASANT - SUPERB BREAKFAST- THOUGH HAD TO QUEUE
BEDROOM LOOKED OUT ON A ROOF - CERTAINLY NOT WORTH THE PRICE
PRICES IN BAR VERY HIGH - COULD HAVE SUPPLIED SOME NUTS OR OLIVES AT THAT PRICE

I love Hayfield Manor . As a family we enjoy it so much . The staff and their standards are excellent. But our dinner was vv disappointing. How Hayfield Manor thought that was acceptable, regardless of the price . How a chef in a 5 star hotel could cook up and think it was acceptable to serve it to a customer…

Exceptional as always. Extra touches such as a birthday card and chocolates in our room. The staff are so attentive and kind. We enjoyed afternoon tea upon arrival, sitting by an open fire! Our suite was just perfect.

Excellent all round
Couldn’t fault it in any way

A stunning hotel with exceptional service that is second to none.
A separate walk in shower to the bath would have been a nice addition for the standard of room, but we will certainly be staying again in the next year and will specifically request this.

property location is great. lots of stuff is within walking distance. facilities are very good and hotel was immaculate and good controls for covid.
rooms were good size and bed was comfortable.
Ate in Perrotts in the hotel. food and service was excellent.
went to the spa for message. again excellent service and experience.
best thing about the hotel was the staff. really top class bunch at front desk and in the bar and restaurant.
I think I was slightly unfortunate as my room was opposite a storage room that had people coming and going a little earlier in the morning than I would have like and that created some noise. But overall hard to pick fault in a very good hotel.

I loved the swimming pool, the jacuzzi was great, I had the duck for dinner it was fantastic. Staff were great
There were stains on the carpet in the room 117, u cannot call this a superior room, I paid for an upgrade I have seen nicer 4 star rooms. when u pay so much to stay for one night I’d expect a lot better. My friend did not enjoy her meal, the turkey and ham was very dry, not worth what ur paying for, she ordered the warm pear tart and it was stone cold. I don’t normally complain but ye have sent me this survey. I vote with my feet, I’m just disappointed we paid for a 5 star hotel but got ordinary food the only exception was the duck. I would like a call back, coz overall I’m not very happy just feel robbed as I said we paid for the experience, we defo didn’t get that tbh.
