Breakfast, although chef was too busy to provide Omelette on three mornings.
One household staff was rude when we asked her for extra towel to dry the leaking shower. It was addressed so resolved.

The Room,
Breakfast,
Thoughtfulness for pets coming into the hotel,
Attentive staff,
Golf,
The Massage, (would have been nice if more slots were available / a second therapist who could offer a massage for my partner too).
Decor (great!)
The Pool (nicely decorated and good facilities).
(Designer's TIP: if they spray the outside sauna grey wood preservative, it will keep the wood in better condition and blend in visually better). As it is, it's a bit of an eye sore, which is a shame when all else is so nice.
Loved our stay - would book again!
Nothing springs to mind at all - it was all great!!

Location
The first room I was given someone had been smoking in there and the staff acknowledged this after they visited the room . But wanted to charge for an upgrade as over similar rooms weren’t available!!
Staff then were at the bar laughing about it , didn’t know I was in ear shot …

The staff, surroundings, location, food.
No air conditioning so a terrible nights sleep due to being too hot. I was in a building adjacent to the main hotel which is not well insulated for noise and quite tired.

Good room of a high quality
I left some clothes in the room but when I returned to the hotel the same day to ask for them they could not be found.

Location and setting are excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Meals excellently prepared and served.
Very restricted restaurant menu. Payment for room requested on arrival, rather than when checking out, and deposit retained against further expenditure.

We had gone to check into a glamping site down the road to celebrate my 40th birthday but on arrival they’d double booked!
We booked only half an hour before we arrived and the staff were so amazingly welcoming. They upgraded our room and were so helpful with making it feel special again.
Beautiful rooms and delicious meal. Staff service fantastic.
Breakfast staff seemed quite stressed and not as friendly as the checkin/dinner teams

Restaurant and bar seems recently renovated and it’s nice being surrounded by the calm of the golf course.
Food was really great and they treated my husband to a surprise birthday dessert. Restaurant staff were really good.
Spa treatments were ace and breakfast was really good too! We would recommend and would stay again!
The part we were staying in seemed slightly more dated than the communal areas but comfortable bed and good hot shower so everything we needed. There were some spiders in the hallway and due to a phobia I wasn’t keen on walking by them but others probably wouldn’t have noticed! We wanted to be able to get drinks later into the evening but we’re told that they couldn’t serve spirits past a certain time as they didn’t have the staff to do so which as residents was disappointing as it wasn’t that late.

Room was a good size and had a lovely view. The pool was warm and clean as was hot tub (didnt use sauna or steam). Restaurant food was delicious and breakfast was great! Views from the hotel of the golf course/ surrounding area were beautiful! Would definitely stay again!
Room was hot even though provided with a fan. Wasn't too much of an issue though as slept without quilt on.

Outstanding. Lovely experience from start to finish. Great, friendly staff. Immaculate hotel with comfortable rooms. Gorgeous food and beautiful views. One of the best hotels I’ve visited.

lounge food was good and breakfast excellent. Wish I was more hungry!
If I was going to be a moaner........we used the hotel on a cycling trip. This was the better standard stay on the trip. We had hoped to eat in the restaurant but it was a little bit out of our price range for a three course meal with wine. Perhaps a few more less expensive option would have meant we could eat there but in no way a downer on our stay.
A better cycle rack.

Breakfast choice and quality good
Location excellent
The dinner menu was restricted, with too much emphasis on spicy foods
All excellent quality, some additional choices of “english” dishes would be preferred

Hotel was very lovely and we had a great time. Breakfast was very good. Room was comfortable. Staff were friendly.
Thought the dinner menu could have been better and didn't enjoy the food. Had steak on first night and could not eat it.
