Not a lot
No food available in the evening. Room tiny and no warning there was a step down into the room from door. Only saw one person who was not very welcoming or hospitable.

Lovely freshly baked bread. Good quality ingredients. Very tasty.

Dinner was a treat, a wide choice of mains and light bites including, beef ribs, lamb shank and venison. Also vegetarian options, pasta, pies. Ice creams including chocolate and brandy, cinnamon bread and butter pudding, dark chocolate and ginger amongst others.
Traditional decor, bedroom was warm with a cast iron bed (so comfortable) large bathroom, shower caps, shoe shine, personal care set, soap and multiple teas, both normal tea and fruit, and coffee in the room.
Breakfast wide choice cereal, fruit and hot choices including full English, porridge and kippers.
Friendly and helpful staff, nothing was to much trouble.
Would definitely book again
No complaints.

Just not my cup of tea. The place had a funny smell and the room was small and so was the very soft bed.
As above.

Staff. Room was nice and cosy. I forgot my keys at the hotel, and they took the effort to post it to me in London. A real friendly touch.

very traditional old coaching inn with its own car park. Rooms clean and tidy
If you arrive on a Sunday after lunchtime there’s no food available and little available in the town other than an Indian restaurant which means a drive to somewhere else if you don’t like Indian food
10.0
The hospitality, style and uniqueness was enjoyed by all.
4.0
Breakfast availability was good. Lots of choice in cereals, fruit, full English, toast and preserves. Tea, coffe and orange juice
Room very small, and floor sloped so you were walking uphill, most noticeable in bathroom. Appreciate age of the building, furniture very old but I guess it was supposed to be in keeping with the building.
Room extremely warm, hard to sleep.
