The location is stunning, the staff couldn’t be nicer and the interior and exterior are absolutely spotless
The interior is decorated to a high standard and beautifully maintained
We had an issue with our meal but the staff rectified the situation without fuss. I’m sure this was a one off as everything is so professionally run

Breakfast was lovely, cooked fresh to order. Very friendly staff. The property was very clean with lovely outside seating areas. A lovely setting and good location for exploring the local area by car.
The Nespresso machine in the bedroom was a nice touch but spoiled by the UHT milk pods. Although I am sure the staff would have happily provided fresh milk had I asked.

Terrifc old mill in wonderful rural setting. beautifully and tastefully decorated throughout.
our bedroom was unbelievably hot and stuffy, there was no heating on so no way of reducing the temperature. there was only very small window which didn’t help the situation.

Superbly appointed room. Felt very luxurious.
On arrival I was firmly advised it’s a 10am checkout! Having booked through booking.com I was able to quote hotel policies as advertised: 11am checkout. I was granted this and informed the hotel had been trying to contact booking.com to get this changed but had been unable to get through. I think 10am checkout is frankly ridiculous, especially on a Sunday and is likely to be unpopular with some guests I would have thought.

Fabulous large comfy room with its own outside seating area. Small residents-only lounge with complimentary whisky and brandy was a great way to finish off the evening. All the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Lovely setting, off the main road and alongside the river.
Nothing. We were really impressed with the hotel and staff.

Absolutely everything. Food, staff, room, cleanliness. Our room was so lovely. Was very clean. It wasn't tired or dated. All the room facilities were very good and were of a high standard. The staff were very attentive and friendly. When we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. We ate evening meal in the restaurant which were very nice surroundings. Regarding the food, well again excellent. Was also excellent value for money too. The grounds around the hotel are also very nice. Plenty of parking space too.
I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel. You will not be disappointed.
I really can't find anything that was disliked to us

Lovely Food Great surroundings. Fantastic Food. Friendly helpful Staff

Very nice decor, staff were pleasant, especially the young lady greeting and serving breakfast. Private guest lounge is a good touch with complimentary brandy and whiskey. Food was excellent. very nice restaurant and bar with a busy family vibe.
When you arrive with suitcases you are encouraged to use the main entrance which means paradeing through the main bar, I didnt , I used the side entrance. There isnt a reception desk so the busy bar staff are left to deal with you, not a pleasant start stood in a busy bar restaurant with partner and suitcases. Serving staff at dinner leant across the table of four to serve drinks and food instead of walking around. Really not very good atall.
