Best stay for a solo woman traveler

Beautiful room! AC was strong! The bed was comfy & lots of soft pillows. This room was the best solo woman’s travelers dream. Beautiful balcony with a stone outdoor tub. The shower room was pretty & spacious. They had a strong working refrigerator. Breakfast was always delicious, generous & tasty! I very much LOVED their latte’s & cappuccinos. The staff were always greeting me & helpful with my luggage’s up & down the 2nd floor. I appreciated the designated tuk-tuk’s right outside the door.

Not too much hot water, but after sweating from temple tours, I really needed cool water. And as much as I would have loved to enjoy the stone tub outdoors, it was very open that my neighbors could see me… I wish it was more private, otherwise there is a curtain but blocks out the view. Felt only comfortable to enjoy it once out of my 4 night stay.

A Great Place to do Everything and Nothing!

This is a very relaxing place! The pool is right by the rooms and the bar at the edge of the pool. The staff are all excellent - nothing is a trouble. Reception can organise anything you want to do. The bed is comfortable and the airconditioner can be switched to quiet mode, which really helped with sleeping. Do use the hotel tuk tuk drivers, they are reliable and the cheapest you'll find in Siem Reap. They really appreciate your business. The patio featured an outside, full sized, functioning bath tub - my little luxury!

There is absolutely nothing to dislike at Rambutan Siem Reap!

Excellent séjour

Très beau cadre, chambre magnifique, emplacement idéal, bon petit-déjeuner, personnel très sympathique et arrangeant. Je recommande vivement cet établissement pour passer un bon moment. L’hôtel peut s’occuper de planifier les différentes excursions (guide en français pour la visite des temples au top).

We had a great time there.

Location Good neighborhood- sometimes Siem Reap can be noisy but the Rambutan Resort is not on main road but easy walk into city center. Pool is nice and staff very friendly

Great hotel to visit the wonderful sites around Siem Reap!!

Great location , slightly out of busy pub street area, lovely hotel, rooms spacious and clean, great swimming pool and food delicious. All the staff so welcoming and friendly. Staff also very helpful arranging excursions, they have 10 tut tuts available with the cost already set.

Handy if new to Siem Reap and need access to Pub Street and market, old town centre area.

Stayed here before due to proximity to main eateries and market area. Was here for a short stay which is why I chose this location again. It is quiet and down a lane off the road so very few vehicles drive nearby. Due to low season it was very quiet and peaceful.

Not everyone will like the quirkiness of the site, but I don't mind it.

I wish there were a Rambutan in every place I visit.

This place is TOP-NOTCH! Everything is over-the-top fabulous. The staff is the jewel in the crown.

Stayed in the hotel part with the villas. Felt like a home away from home. Staff are incredible. Massage was also phenomenal.

good distance to / from Pub Street.

[location] less than 10 minutes on foot to Pub Street. [food] breakfast has variety of options that you can combine as you want. [room] 2 stories compact villa, bed on GF, bath on 1F. i felt it like home and liked very much. but probably it is hard for senior to step up / down that steep stairs often. [staffs] staffs are super friendly and kind being ready to help customers all time. receptionists are fluent in English.

Cosy and beautiful with spacious, indulgent rooms and extremely friendly and helpful staff. A really great stay!

A beautiful peaceful oasis in downtown Siem Reap

The Rambutan Resort is a lovely beautiful oasis down a very quiet road in downtown Siem Reap opposite the Night Market and a short walk to Pub Street (if you really want to go there!). It’s surrounded by some lovely restaurants and bars too. Our room was amazing - choose the deluxe room with the rooftop terrace if you can! I definitely recommend this as the terrace is huge and a great place to rest. The shower and bathtub is a bonus! Our door was one step away from the pool … we couldn’t fault our room location at all, but it’s not a big hotel so any room would have been in a great location. The onsite restaurant is wonderful - we had our best meal in Cambodia here - and the bar serves a wide range of drinks and cocktails at really good prices. The staff are great and we felt welcomed and comfortable straight away. It is a quiet hotel, but this is a perfect base for relaxation after busy days touring the local area.

We had wonderful days at the Rambutan Resort. The rooms were really nice, perfectly equipped and clean. The breaktfast and the food (we had the Khmer Curry) was delicious! And on top of this, the staff is so kind and helpful all the time! We really would come back!

Fabulous as always, the staff are fantastic, all are helpful and courteous. The facilities are fantastic. The beds have a top sheet and a selection of pillows, which in my opinion is fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

The cutlery in the restaurant is a little hard to hold, for us old folks with limited mobility, A VERY Small matter indeed.

cute resort with lovely garden

Rambutan has 2 locations next to eachother, one is more new and more luxurious and one a bit older, but still cute. it depends on the room you book, where you end up staying. They both have a pool and are nicely decorated. We stayed in the older one for one night. We had a duplex upstairs, so one quite steep stairs up and the duplex has the bedroom and bathroom upstairs, so one more stairs. A lot of luggage carrying. The decoration of the room is lovely, but a bit run down. We had our breakfast at the newer resort, very peaceful and good. And restaurant ‘Wild’, also next door, has really good food and a chill vibe. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. If i were you, i would book a little more expensive room and stay in the newer resort.

As said, you have to climb 2 steep stairs to reach the bedroom and bathroom. The airco in the bedroom was not working too well and the bed was good, but not very stable.
