It was OK, clean and average size room.
The area of the hotel was central, however I didn’t feel safe in the area and made sure I walked with my husband
4.0
The breakfast was fantastic, the breakfast staff were lovely and the reception staff, the room was clean and it had shampoo and body wash and hand wash and towels etc. They took care with food intolerances and there were some alternatives. Consider gluten free cereal as an alternative.
The fire alarm went off at 4am. We went downstairs to be told it was a false alarm. The staff member at the time did apologise. However, we were distressed. Couldn't go back to sleep. And no body said sorry in the morning or offered any compensation of any kind. The location is loud and the room was stuffy.

Good parking arrangements and proximity to Curve

VERY BASIC, ON PAIR WITH A TRAVEL LODGE, LOCATION WAS GOOD BUT IN AN AREA THAT WAS ROUGH TO SAY THE LEAST, ;OTS OF BEGGING AND FIGHTING AROUND THWE HOTEL, DIDNT HAVE THE BREAKFAST BUT IT LOOKED EDIBLE
BAR TARRIF TOO HIGH, WINE WAS NOT GOOD, I HAD A BIRTHDAY CARD DELIVERED AND IT WASNT GIVEN TO ME
4.0
Good location, friendly staff, room was good size, comfortable bed and good bathroom. Great breakfast.
The gym/fitness centre was closed for the week, it was one of the reasons we chose this hotel so it was disappointing.
No mini fridge in the room, which would have been helpful to put a few things in, and a second chair would have been good.
4.0
Nicely placed in the city centre and very well appointed
Bed are small doubles which don’t leave much space for two.
Fitness facilities were closed

Location was great and staff were great.
Bathroom was unclean. Water did not drain away in sink or shower
4.0
The location. Perfect for Athena venue and city centre plus parking.
Did not have any tea in room, just coffee but that was all.
4.0
Good size room. Bathroom and shower clean and good water temp and pressure.
Bed was uncomfortable. Said we had a double bed but seemed more like a queen size bed which is smaller and not as comfortable for 2 people. Rooms weren’t cleaned to standard - beds weren’t made, sheets unchanged in the 3 nights we stayed. Floors were hardwood but weren’t sweeped. My boyfriend had a water bottle bought from the hotel that was taken when we were out of the room. It was sitting on the bedside table and still had water. Same issue with a new toothbrush sitting near the sink in the bathroom, it was take maybe considered as trash but it was a new clean toothbrush still in its original packaging.

Perfect central location for exploring the city, good restaurants close by and the theatre a short walk away
The room was a little dull, red is a heavy lifeless colour, and the flooring practical but cold. On the whole pleasant enough and the location served the purpose of my visit extremely well. The staff were all really helpful, professional and courteous.

the hotel in situated in heart of city centre , everything is accessabel.
parking on site is very expensive £25.00 per night.

Food in the evening very good
Young guy behind the bar was excellent and a credit to the hotel

Great location for our visit to the Curve Theatre
Nice breakfast with extras (eg scrambled eggs) if requested
Comfy spacious room
Just one niggle - the bathroom sink didn't drain properly and despite mentioning it straightaway it didn't get fixed

They charged me twice because there machine never worked properly but the money went out twice from account. Iv been told I will get a refund but I don’t know when.

Location in the town
The noise of the late night car racers revving engines, horns beeping, exhausts popping from around midnight until 3:30am.

Clean and great location

Ideal situation for The Curve and shops
Should have upgraded to a larger bed,
Hard to locate in-house car park

Friendly staff, great breakfast
Very basic rooms, huge gang fight outside hotel at 4am, really scarey and slept very badly due to this
4.0
The staff were friendly and very welcoming.
My window wouldn't close properly, so the room was cold throughout the night. I was also kept awake from the constant fighting outside the hotel. I counted 4 fights in a 3 hour period.

Staff were attentive, helpful and kind.
Bathroom could’ve been cleaner,

Great location but I have stayed in nicer rooms at this hotel
Room was cold and a little noisy

Hotel location was very good for visiting The Curve Theatre and would use again. But otherwise bland, dull.
Only two lifts. One out of order and the only working one was annoying, slow,

Location was perfect for what I was attending for. The map makes everything look slightly further but everything is so surprisingly close including the car park.
The room was super clean and I believe housekeeping do a fantastic job with turnaround times. However, it probably needs that extra attention to detail deep clean like around the shower walls and those areas that can get overlooked on a quick turnaround.

Good location. Nice big room.
Not enough electrical sockets in the room. Sockets only on one side of the double bed.

Located close to centre.
Hotel at busy street so one hears street noise.
The bed is rather small for two persons of normal posture.
Room wasn't or wasn't fully cleaned during 3 nights stay (either bed not made, no new towels, or garbage bin not emptied).
One elevator was broken down so longer waiting and cleaning staff was clearly stressed given extra time pressure.
Breakfast room was poorly cleaned. Limited choice of bread and other items (for example no gammon or cheese either). Took some time for the staff to replenish items including plates and so on: people had to ask.
And then we don't even mention the false fire alarm early morning which got us running through the staircase with no clear signal/ announcement it was false to guests.......
All in all we would not classify this as a 4 star hotel at all: 2 stars at best.

Staff were really nice, good security and check in and out straight forward.
There was only two two towels in room for 3 people, there was someone else hair on my bedding and stained top sheet had something red on it.

The staff were great I needed an iron and one was sourced very fast
The room was not well insulated. So much noise leaked into the room and the beds were uncomfortable

All in all it was a good stay for a short period. Last minute booking, costly. Staff was very helpful and kind.
Room was eventually very good (after changing it 2x due to smell or small window. Even we got housekeeping for just a 2 night stay. Location is in the city center, walking distance to high cross shopping mall. And also very nearby bus stop.
Breakfast could be with more vegeterian options.
4.0
Great location, good facilities
Noisy from visitors knocking in other guest doors at 3am
