The hotel was calm and easily accessible.
The room looked really nice.
When staff came over they were kind.
The location of the hotel was perfect.
Our room must be next to a boiler, it kept me awake all night both nights and the room was very very hot.
Drinks were hard to get hold of and very expensive.

We had two rooms booked
One was a good size the second was tiny but paid the same price for both

Shower could of been warmer
Paying for car park even though we were residents

Location is phenomenal. Just a short walk to the pier
When we went down for breakfast in the morning, they told us breakfast was closed, even though we were only 5 minutes late.

I wish the breakfast had a choice of porridge as we always have porridge for breakfast.
Location was absolutely perfect, and easy available parking was great too.
As i said a choice of porridge for breakfast would have been nice.

Breakfast…no improvements

Very clean and well maintained rooms. Staff were super friendly and made the stay even more pleasurable.
Having to pay for parking in the carpark.
4.0
The location, the garden & landscape, peaceful.
Clean & comfortable
Breakfast, was poor so we cancelled breakfast component from the rate
I reserved a standard room and asked for a nice room with view
although they had better rooms , they assigned a room with a window facing wall
😤
I requested the staff to ask the manager for upgrade if possible, returned back with "no, you have to pay for if you want 😐
The manager didn't even talk to us, his speedy reply with no, upset me.
The lady from the reception showed us another room which was better than the 1st one, unfortunately without fridge.
On our 3rd night at (4:30-5:00) AM someone was banging a door, it was really annoying and disturbing, however reception staff responded quickly

We liked everything but really expected a fridge in the room plus unless you complained 10% service charge was automatically taken.
4.0
Location, gardens, sea view, car park, sandwich lunch on terrace.
Needs to be an option for a lighter breakfast at a cheaper price.
4.0
Get the Afternoon Tea!
and book a ocean facing room if possible.

The hotel itself is lovely, to a very high standard. The parking was very convenient. Location is amazing. The staff were extremely accommodating.
The rooms weren't excellent. They were a good standard overall but the mattress was very hard. You couldn't open the windows and the air con was abysmal. The shower pressure was not great. However, I would book here again.

comfortable and clean room with good view and facilities. Excellent breakfast. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.
Dinner menu was not up to the standard of previous years

great location, welcoming staff, clean room, reasonable size, comfortable
woken by wedding guests in the corridor at 1.15am. They did move on when asked though.
I thought £17.50 was a bit dear for breakfast, specially if your just going to have coffee, cereal & toast, so I went to Subway

good location
the room was unclean, extremely dusty and full of cobwebs. one half of the mattress was dipped in and caused extreme back pain upon waking in the morning. water would leak across the bathroom floor when showering. when speaking to the general manager, instead of apologising and seeing to the room and what could be done to improve our stay, he decided to lecture us on why he thinks we were wrong and how everything was brand new. it was very upsetting and disgusting behaviour toward the customer.

Great location
You need to pay for hotel parking if you book via booking.com, and staff was not interested for any upgrades

great location and upgraded to a double room for free.
cleaning staff came in twice before I had checked out.

Breakfast was expensive for what they were offering, if you wanted anything other than usual breakfast you had to pay extra. Will not have breakfast there again will go somewhere outside
Was charged fir two breakfasts even though I had booked a single room

Nice comfy rooms
I come to Bournemouth every weekend for business. First time I have used this hotel.
The staff was not helpful at all regarding parking, I asked 3 different people, and they all gave short blunt answers that were not helpful at all . Maybe staff need training regarding local knowledge and parking, as you state on your website that your staff will help find parking if required

The staff were great. The lady on reception even helped me when I couldn't reach to do up my dress. The food was excellent. A perfect stay.
This hotel really offered little to complain about.

we were given the Tolkien room which we were told by someone that the author spent a lot of time in the room
the be prices were very expensive and would definitely sign up to the members discount if staying again, as any discount would help. We were at the hotel for a charity event and the spend on the drinks meant less money to donate to the charity.
