Very tastefully unique resort close to Sesriem, in unique surroundings. Very large rooms and great pre sunset drinks arranged around a firepit
The shower fittings could be improved (proper mixer tap and angled shower head). 5 course dinner seems a little over the top and felt the meals were a bit hit and miss. Could perhaps be improved serving 3 courses

Excellent breakfast spread. Exotic surroundings. Luxury is evident! Hospitality is exceptional!
Nothing really comes to mind!

This resort is located on a beautiful & peaceful location. The staff is extremely kind and helpful.
If you have the choice book the tower room, sleeping under the stars is magical!
It's like a fairy tale....

Large comfortable rooms, overall look of the property and well maintained grounds. Excursion guide was knowledgeable. Staff very friendly.
Dim lighting everywhere, maybe due to unavoidable circumstances of power, etc. but sometimes had to use flashlights to maneuver stairs, etc.

Perfect location and nice rooms.
Expensive and food was not the best we had on the trip

Good location for anyone looking for the balloon ride from Nambi Sky.
Beautiful architecture; like a middle age castle. Good sized room and great view of sunset from balcony.
Good arrangement for watching animals with waterholes and dedicated stage to watch the animals during evening.
Good food.
No wifi in the room.
If one don’t have wifi at all; it is fine. But ha

the view from the hotel was superb
lovely food
the gravel road to the park gate was around 25 mins and not a good road. if you don’t want the gravel road the Sossusvlei lodge has access to the park via a tar road. we got a broken windshield on the gravel road

WOW! Such a breathtaking resort, truly stunning. a magical oasis in the middle of the hot desert. Fantastic activities to choose from - definitely go on the ATV ride for sunset - it’s like riding through another planet, and get a massage!! The staff were the most friendly of all my travels worldwide - they made us feel very welcome! The food was delicious, a unique fusion of Namibian cuisine with other cultures… stay one night in the tower room - was exquisite to sleep under the stars!! The presence of the oryx was also magical
nothing at all to complain about!

An absolute oasis in the middle of the desert. So unassuming until you step into this beautiful castle. Service and facilities were great. Loved the food and drinks as well as sundowners with the most incredible backdrop. Very tastefully furnished. Very highly recommended!
The aircons innthe rooms were a bit underpowered so it didn't quite cool the place down. This was only a minor issue though.

nice location, not far from the national park and we were able to see oryx at the artificial waterhole. At night you see starry sky

Beautiful hotel and bad ideas.
The mirage is one of the most beautiful hotels in Namibia, but it is the only one that does not offer 2 bottles of water, you arrive then you have to go to the bar to buy water. It's so petty.
Another thing, after doing the slopes all the customers go to the pleasant swimming pool which has its bar. The bar closes at 5 p.m., customers have nothing left to drink. All this to force customers to go to the ephemeral bar in full sun where no one goes.

The staff were just the best!!! The setting was great but the ambiance was truly amazing. An unforgettable experience
Nothing at all

The concept of 3 seperate buildings but well connected works very well. Restaurant and one bar is seperate from the rooms. Some of the rooms overlook the dunes and the waterhole. A la carte menu for lunch works well and a fixed 5 course dinner of very high quality. Very good interaction with friendly staff, much more than most places. Staff is also well trained and very helpful. The views of the dunes looking west is beautiful with Oryx sighted daily. Contrary to other lodges in the wider area, their wine prices are very reasonable.
Nothing.

Good looking facilities, beautiful rooms
Awful service, disappointing staff attitude, limited wifi, cold pool and jacuzzi, bad dinner, cocktails were awful
9.0 / 10.0
Lovely warm welcome and excellent and attentive service from all the lovely staff! Everyone always ready to go the extra mile.
Wifi only in reception area & got easily oversubscribed and slow. Would appreciate better connectivity, especially because no TV to find out whats happening in the world! Not everyone wants to be connected, but for some people, it is important!

We loved our special stay in this fairytale like castle. The views are spectacular and we enjoyed the sunset in the back with some drinks while Oryxes playfully ran by. The food was good, staff too kind and funny and the rooms are well decorated, the balcony offers an enchanting view
the bathroom and its colors could use some updating (new/maybe white walls). All looks very organic though

Location is breathtaking.
Activities are all recommendable. Jason was an exceptional guide!
We would come back.
The cleaning is not on the same level as the rest…

Overall good experience. I got extremely sick while having a massage, but suppose it was just a bad reaction towards the oils they have used. Food was excellent, the staff was extremely helpful and the quad bikes was so much fun. Was my first time and I enjoyed it so much.
