Great location, clean & modern, excellent shower, lobby was new and modern and festive
We went for a late brekfast about 10:30 and the breakfast spread has been cleared away so we went out. The beds were a bit too hard.

Die Lage in der New Town ist super, direkt beim Busbahnhof und der Tram Haltestelle. Frühstück war gut. Zimmer ist schön modern eingerichtet.
Leider ist die Dusche total winzig, es war kaum Platz zum umdrehen.

Great location.Very very clean.Works room and its view rock although pricy, but this is the case with central hotels in Edinburgh.Good and tasty breakfrast.Cozy lobby and lounge.Amazing staff. The last night electricity went off in my room and they offered me a second room so I could sleep with the heat on and use the sockets while the let me keep my original room so I wouldn’t have to move my stuff. Also the stuff was very attentive and willing to help and give touristic information.Aiden,Gosia,Holiday,Ilari,Zhanet,Tatiana you do an amazing job!
Everything was good.Maybe a bit more variety in breakfast (wholemeal bread, more white cakes, more fruit, etc)

Well positioned and close to the city centre
There was no cooked breakfast which for the price we paid was very bad

We had 2 rooms: the first one was an old one that didn't meet our expectations. The staff was great and supportive and helped us to change it with a complete refurbished one that made our 2nd night much more enjoyable.
Overall, the hotel is good, perfectly located in Edinburgh center, with good refurbished rooms on the upper floor, and good breakfast options.
Hotel staff deserves to be mentioned due to their support and customer focused attitude.
The old rooms that are not refurbished are far from what you would expect. Worn out and dusty.
Cleanliness could be done better: there are a lot of hidden dusty spots in the room that would need a thorough cleaning.
Prices are high...but considering Edinburgh city center...you have to accept it as default.

We got an upgrade to a room with beautiful balcony. I also like the interior of the room and hotel lobby.

The staff and the location are both excellent. On arrival, I was given a tin of Edinburgh Shortbread flavoured biscuits and made to feel truly welcome. The complimentary breakfast is excellent and sets you up to walk to the major attractions.
You know you're in a great location when you're adjacent to St Andrews Square.
If you would like to get your bearings when you arrive, there is a hop-on hop-off bus stop next to St Andrews Square.
Highly recommended 👌
There's no small fridge in your room. However, if you're there in winter,it's no big deal.

Great location, very friendly staff, allowed is to check in a couple of hours earlier, gave us great recommendations, it was very good. The breakfast was incredibly good and its included in the rate.
Two consecutive days we left the “Please make my room” sign and came back early afternoon both times it hadn’t been done. Asked for more towels which they put without taking the others away so it started to get messy. Could have been that we weren’t out for too many hours but it was annoying. We explicitly asked for it at reception on our third afternoon and they did clean it while we were out.

Location excellent for all tourist things. Breakfast a bonus. Staff were excellent. Security excellent. Little bottle of milk was great instead of usual sachets of milk. Beds and pillows so comfy.
A bit warmer. Blankets in wardrobe. Although staff did bring us a heater and extra duvet. My granddaughter would have like a stronger hairdryer.

Great location. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Excellent bathroom.
0 noise reduction from the windows. Loud pipes throughout the night. Cramped rooms. Room facilities non existent. No water provided. Cleaners didn’t change sheets when turning room over.

Great central location. Helpful staff. Good breakfast included.
Room was quite small - ok for one night but might be a bit tight for longer stays. Also a bit noisy outside - inevitable given the location but a rear facing room would perhaps be better.

May be cooked breakfast could be a option

Excellent location. Staff were fantastic, and left a card, some balloons, and a little bottle of Scottish whiskey in the room. It’s pet friendly, there was a wee bed and water bowl for my hound. Really thoughtful!
We could only find 1 usb in the room. Our fault for not bringing something to plug in but plugs aren’t on both sides of the bed which is annoying. Nothing they can do about that though and appreciate it’s preference.

We had stayed there before and chose to stay again particularly for the location however the hotel is first class. Staff very friendly, the rooms are exceptionally clean with a Scottish twist without being too over the top. Lovely little touches like remote kept in a sporran, shortbread and a lovely return guest christmas card

Great hotel just out of the main hustle and bustle. Across from a lovely park and near all facilities. Only a short walk to Royal Mile. Staff were lovely and great breakfasts every morning! Everything was clean and easy to use and very quiet.

I liked the location, it was close to everywhere I needed to be. It had a lift for my mum who has bad knees.
I liked that we got our choice of beds-two separate beds!
Did like the breakfast. The only hot food was porridge or toast. I would have liked hot eggs or even baked beans!
I didn’t like that our room was below the ground with a small window.
