Location was close to the old town so very convenient
Very low water pressure for shower. Useless wifi that dropped out regularly. Tv not even connected to internet so Netflix simply didn’t work. Very steep dangerous stairs when taking luggage to room.

Adam Drysdale House is very welcome and friendly place to stay. Our room was super cozy and super clean. We had very tasty breakfast every morning and our lovely hosts were very helpful with all questions which we had. We definitely recommend Adam Drysdale House! :)

Fabulous stay, and wonderful breakfast.

Conveniently located. Very kind and friendly owners and staff. We are a family of three, all women, and we felt very welcome and safe staying there. would definitely stay here again.
It was unusually warm weekend and there were some mosquitoes in the room and one of us got bitten on a face!

Owners were very nice and welcoming. breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. Location is good, not great.
Photos do not accurately depict the room. It was just one room with 3 beds and a tiny bathroom. Hard to even walk in the room when you add luggage. Super expensive for what you get.

Very clean and cute room close to city centre. The owner's were very friendly and helpful.

The stay was really nice, place is lovely and the hosts are so friendly and welcoming. Everything is great (location, breakfast, rooms (very clean)). I definitely recommend staying here.

it was in a good location and parking was available with advance notice to the hosts which was good
the wife was lovely and super accommodating and friendly. the husband was a little rude and a little impatient with breakfast orders. the was also a strong mould smell in the room which was not easy to ignore and rather unpleasant. the bath towels were also very thin/overused and need to be replaced.

The room was very clean and the breakfast was good and homemade by the owner so pretty tasteful.

Janette and Glenn were lovely and kind attending our requirements. The breakfast included different Scottish dishes like Porridge and Haggis (I found this part quite interesting). The Guest House is strategically located (15 minutes by foot to the Grass market, Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile). Regarding the room the private bathroom was superb.

The property was ideally located to visit Edinburgh by foot and we will certainly stay there during our next visit. Furthermore Janette & Graham are very nice hosts, the breakfast was really good and the room comfortable.
Only minor issue may be that the street can get noisy during the night but I guess that was to be expected during the Edinburgh Festival and does not outweigh the benefits of staying so close to the action :-)

Fresh fruits for breakfast could be added (bananas, apples, kiwis etc).

We really liked this B&B. Garrett was really nice and the breakfast was great! We loved chatting with the host. Sadly Jannett wasn't there but we can't wait to meet her next time!

The owners are very hospitable and the breakfast is lovely, rooms are a good size.
The location is fine but a bit of a walk to the main tourism area. Also, the wifi was out when I visited.

Breakfast was very nice. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was very nice with slipper bath and walk in shower.
Disappointed about parking although the owners did send us a message saying parking was not available which we did not see. However they did allow us to park on their drive at their own home which was a short distance away.

Great Hosts could not fault anything.

The guest house was very well located: close to the city centre. The owners, Graham and Janette were so friendly. They really made you feel welcome, and were happy to have a chat with you. The bathroom facilities were very clean and modern, and overall it was fantastic value for money.
The property itself is obviously a little old. Our room felt a little draughty at times and you could hear the wind rattling through the roof. That said, the bed did come with a nice thick duvet and an extra comforter in the wardrobe. There are also large gas radiators in every room, so it's probably quite warm in winter.

The hosts were extremely kind and made every effort to make our stay the best it could be.
Parking is limited so make sure you reserve a place in advance.
