Everything. Staff are great. Views of the river and St Paul’s were great.
The nearest tube station is a bit far.

Great staff. Decent gym and enjoyed the steam room. Nice restaurant. Room itself was comfy and spacious enough for one. The view was not on the Thames but I imagine others are. Great location.
Bathroom could've used another hook or two. Closet space was limited, just barely squeezed my suitcase in there. Rooftop bar was closed both nights that I could've gone, but that's just unfortunate timing.

Good room - river deluxe. Very comfortable bed and linens, lovely extras, including filtered water on tap. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location convenient for Southwark and Blackfriars.
Menu options for dinner - would have liked a healthy & light option other than from appetisers.

The room was clean and very spacious, bigger than I expected. The bed was very comfortable. I appreciated the desk/chair and the extra large chair. The shower was spacious and the shower head was so soothing. The adaptor for my blow dryer did not work and was happy that there was a well functioning blow dryer. Appreciated the coffee maker, I was able to enjoy a good cup of Earl Grey after a long day out. The location was exceptional, London Eye was about a 15 minute walk and Big Ben, Borough Market about a 20 minute walk. Tower bridge was about a 30 minute walk. My husband and I walked everywhere, even to Buckingham Palace which was roughly a 45 minute walk. Also the person at the front desk was very courteous.
I have no negatives to report about this hotel. Very satisfied!

Everything the manager was rude and not very accommodating. TV did not work , had two engineers in bedroom trying to fix it when it meant to be a romantic stay

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor was interesting. The view from the restaurant was amazing. It was brilliant to walk straight out of the hotel onto the Thames path.
It was very expensive for what we got. The bedroom was small and unimpressive considering the price. It was meant to have a city view but just looked into another building. For what was meant to be a special place to stay it felt really disappointing.

Very attentive and friendly staff and clean rooms.
The rooms are smaller than the pictures suggest and the beds are comparatively short at around 1.90m, but still comfortable. A deposit of GBP 100 per night is charged upon check-in, which is refunded after departure.

Room was good. Restaurant was OK although service was not great.

Great location overlooking the Thames.
The bar was closed for an event. I had one night away with my wife as the kids were away on a school trip, we booked the hotel hoping to enjoy a few cocktails in the bar, only to find it wasn’t open for guests. No prior communication about this, I would have booked another hotel.
The kettle was missing from our room. Small details, but annoying.
When we arrived there was an empty bottle of champagne and two dirty champagne flutes outside of our door.

Perfect location. Super comfortable room. Great breakfast. Early check in made such a difference after a very long flight.
It was fantastic. No complaints!

Great location, close to tube stations, a short walk over the bridge to Covent Garden and a lovely walk along the river to borough market.
The only thing I would suggest is perhaps having some sort of better queuing system for check in, as there were 3 desks but it wasn’t clear where people should queue and someone cut the line when we were checking out which was annoying!

Our overall stay was excellent - our room was clean as was the rest of the hotel. The hotel has a really laid back relaxed atmosphere with cool artefacts. Its in a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The cinema in the basement is definitely worth a visit. My husband visited the gym and said it was good.
We had a lovely dinner on the ground floor restaurant where we were we well looked after by friendly, welcoming staff.
Service was hit and miss.
On check in, we were given our keys and sent on our way - no information about where breakfast was, what time, what time check out was.
Sometimes coffee would arrive at breakfast, sometimes it wouldn't.
We weren't allowed in the roof terrace with our daughter as she was under 18 (she's 16). This has not been our experience at other hotels we have stayed at with roof top bars. When we tried to go in alone for a drink, there was too many rules about how long we could stay and my husband not being allowed to take his back pack in so we left. We were not that desperate to visit.
On the morning of check out after breakfast, I wanted to check what time check out was. I ventured over to the concierge desk as the reception was busy. Two members of staff were chatting to each other - they acknowledged me and continued to chat and chat and chat! In the end, I excused myself so I could ask the quick question about the check out time.
Housekeeping - would take all the towels, used soap and not always replace it. Also there was no soap dish for the soap.

The thoughtful 'sea' theme throughout combined with high quality facilities and attentive staff made for a thoroughly pleasant stay. The location is unmatched, despite being in the very heart of london, the hotel was an oasis of sophisticated relaxation
The tech... the communication whether by email or Booking.com message service was slow and incomplete. Links didn't work or were missing. It was easier to pick up the phone and talk to someone!

Beautiful hotel, perfectly located for the South Bank activities whilst only across the river from the theatres. The staff were very attentive, and the property is very wheelchair friendly. Everything you might need catered for in the room and a superb choice breakfast.
The atmosphere was relaxing, and a great night sleep was had by us both.
That we could only stay one night due to our own commitments.

Beautiful interiors, helpful staff, comfy beds, delicious breakfast and great communal spaces for working.
The only -1 point is because the steam facilities were not working on the day that I visited

Have stayed before and it is a great location, check in was fine, check out a little less so as they wanted to charge £15 to every room for the staff which I thought was completely inappropriate, what am I paying for in the room rate? In addition, if you are a member, but don't book directly, they are funny about applying the member discounts on offer, again not helpful. I had given advance request for a view of the river but that was not accomodated in room 517.

Lovely welcome at reception.
Well organised room with two double beds, many pillows and a v good bathroom.
Very quiet at night.
Restaurant staff had a poor attitude that didn’t reflect everyone else’s.

All the service charges. Especially the 5% on the room. We didn’t pay this and the receptions wasn’t very friendly after that.

Great welcome at reception
Spacious bedroom with views of St Paul’s
Excellent shower and bathroom
Great location
Striking design elements
At Breakfast, I was served tasteless, warm tea from large urn, had to ask for a pot of hot tea
Asking for eggs via waiter did not work, as cold by time you self serve other items
Disappointed 12th Knot roof bar was closed on Sunday, the day we were staying
Room service was fast but menu could be extended.
At normal list price of £300-£400+ for our room, we would expect the above elements
to be available at a much higher standard.
8.0
Good location, beautiful river view, fresh design, people watching on breakfast terrace.
- The room was very basic for the price, I feel like we were really just paying the the view
- Its impossible to contact any living staff through internal phone. Only AI assistant available. That was very frustrating especially on the first night, we arrived quite late and wanted rubber mat for the shower because my mother is elderly and we thought it would be safer with anti slip mat. I had to go down to the lobby around 11pm to talk to someone because it wasn’t possible to reach anyone on the phone. The staff at the reception said they will send someone. After 20 minutes, nobody came, we gave up waiting. Found out later on that there was no such thing available.
- The quality of the staff ranged from excellent to undertrained. Notable one was Amelie at the reception, I felt she was one of the most efficient and helpful on staff. Some other time I was a bit baffled at the service, eg. being ignored at the reception because the two staffers available were trying to serve 1 couple their check in drinks, breakfast staff being aggressive and rude about where we could sit when the room was 90% empty.
