Location, room size and layout, toiletries provided
Very picky points : location of cutlery tray directly above bin makes opening bin tricky; towel drying space is limited, so an automatic change every couple of days would be good

Loved the location on the Bankside near Borough Market and having a kitchen. It was also very quiet.
Very small room. There was not enough space to even walk to the far side of the bed.

The location was perfect, the room was far larger than expected with great facilities and there was breakfast in the morning

Fantastic room, excellent staff and a very secure and safe feeling in the hotel. Nice additon of being able to pop downstairs and get a takeout breakfast of porridge and other bits.
The only downside is the location - and the bins being collected and lots of noise before 6am - didn't get a good night sleep the first nuight, which is a shame after flying in from the US and being quite tired. But that's not the fault of the hotel - next time I will make sure I ask for a high floor room!

room was nice spacious and stylish. staff was nice.
-the bathroom. no glass door separation to shower and toilet so everything got wet.
-side street so taxis aren’t able to come in and have to lug suitcases on cobblestone.

The apartment was compact but the layout was well thought out. The compact kitchen enables complete flexibility to self-cater while in town for a couple of days, which was easy to operate and had lots of fridge space to store groceries. The bathroom was spacious and clean, with a nice rain roomy rain shower. The bed was comfy, and I loved having a dining table big enough for two to enjoy a meal or spread out and work.
Only slight disappointment was the gym, no cardio machines...

really friendly staff and short walk away from Borough Market

Staff was trying to help
Had a freezing cold room and the thermostat couldn't be 'used' or regulated. After three days, I received extra heaters.
Furthermore, the architectural shape of the room not ideal. Too high and too many windows. Not necessarily ugly but the design had a cold room due to large areas of less ideal isolation as a result.

The facilities and location were excellent.
Although this is an apartment hotel, we would have liked to have cleaning services during our stay.

great location , chance to be in own 'space ' before tackling London Marathon
The top shelves in the kitchen cupboard were so high I had no chance of reaching what was on there

When I booked this apartment, booking.com informed us that the establishment would charge us the Room rate in advance but it turns out that they didn’t :( That would not have been a huge problem, but when we arrived at the lodge on may 25th circa 5pm it would have been great if the lady at the reception desk had been less condescending and patronizing with us regarding the whole situation. I am not sure if her behavior was because of our nationality or the fact that we did not look pompous enough for her liking. Instead of trying to help she behaved very mistrustful from the beginning. Taking into account that both of us are professional translators we were appalled by her manners.
To be honest I was very much looking forward to this stay as we were celebrating our fifth wedding anniversary, but we were so stressed out by the way we were talked to that we ended up calling off our plans for the night :(

The staff is the best. They were really nice and helpful.
It was not completely clean. My husband has dropped something and looking for it; he found a lot of dust under the sofa.
Something that we don't know is that the cleaning service is only once per week.
It would be great if there are instructions for the lights and the climate. It was difficult to turn off during the night.
