The hotel staff were friendly, attentive but not intrusively so. The cooked breakfast was excellent. The room was in a quiet location away from main building. Easy access into Norwich, coast or broads,
Nothing the hotel can do but there is no footpath along road to allow a walk in the evening.

Superb location. plenty of parking and very comfortable rooms. the annex was nice and quiet.
Little “tired” in places and a little maintenance required.

Just really good value all round. Nice large and comfy room, relatively close to city centre and a big breakfast.

Very friendly, helpful staff. went out of their way to be helpful.
food was excellent and service good.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable
There was only a very small lounge area and we were part of a group it was not really conducive to sitting with a drink to socialise. We had to ask for a table to put our drinks on but it was provided willingly and with a smile.

staying at this hotel reminded me of the places I used to work in, in the 1990s. Like stepping into a time warp! I do think the staff tried their very best and the management took pride in the hotel but honestly, it did feel like staying a night in a care home.
Thankfully, we took my elderly parents and they loved it so it ticked a box for them. The average guest age must have been around 82.
I think it would work well as a cheap function venue.
Very outdated. Whilst the hotel name and two room photographs made me think we’d be in a charming old building, it looked more like a motorway motel. The evening meal was awful and served on small cream
canteen plates. My husband and I have a sense of humour so it gave us something to chuckle about but we will never go back… Only thing missing was the doily’s and toothpicks 😂
9.0
Delightful room, very good breakfast, most of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Some of the younger members of staff may need a bit more customer service training.
