Excellent Location! Well equipped Kitchen, Nice Bedrooms.
Overall a good stay!
Broken Floor Tiles in Bathroom (risk of injury), broken knobs on drawers, Sofa Beds not really comfortable, Work Surface/Kitchen Counter damaged. Uncomfortable Dining Room Chairs.
Be aware you are staying in the middle of the City. It is not a quiet area!
The noisy exhaust from the Kitchen from the Restaurant downstairs right next to one Bedroom Window makes sleep impossible during operating hours.

This apartment had everything we needed for a weekend away in Strasbourg. The staff was extremely friendly and help full. It’s in a great location, near all the attractions.

super great location! they had great communication and were friendly with what we needed! the elevator worked good as we had a family member in a wheelchair.
The car park is small if you have a big car just FYI.

Location. View to the river and cathedral. Friendly owner.
We stayed there in August. It was very hot inside because the apartment is on the last floor.
You can’t open windows in the kitchen and bathroom during the day because of some restaurant ventilation on the roof. Noise and food smells come inside.

great location and size! very convenient to main attractions in Strasbourg.
we had a car with a luggage topper, so we didn’t fit in any of the parking garages. used a close-in parking spot to unload luggage, then did park and ride (took an hour to get car and return.) This isn’t the fault of the property owners, but something to be aware of as street parking in Strasbourg is crazy expensive (35€ for 4 hours).

Location was amazing, it was heart of the city center by the river. We had a fantastic view of the River Ill and Palais Rohan. There were many cafes, brasseries, restaurants around that we can grab a bite or drink; also supermarkets if you need. Kitchen was ok.
Our room was on the 4th (last) floor and it was unbearably hot (we weren`t lucky because there was a heat wave in Jun, weather was 36 degrees). Inside the apartment was clean at the first glance but you could still see some dust in the corners etc. it wasn`t cleaned properly. We were travelling 3 adults and the bathroom was in the bedroom, which made it hard for the person who`s sleeping in the living room to use. There was a toilet in the hallway but there wasn`t a sink & shower there. If you drive, the parking is a bit hard to tackle as well. We paid extra for parking space they offered, it was a dodgy place and we still need to carry the luggage.

Our hostess was very nice and accommodating. The location couldn't have been better. We were totally satisfied with the place and everything about it. Thanks so much!

The location is amazing, it is basically behind the cathedral and just outside the "Ile", by the river. To get to one of the market entrance it is about 50 meters walk.
This makes the location ideal for kids as well, as everything is at a walking distance (restaurants, supermarket, cafe, Christmas Market itself).
The host / person who handles the apartment key was very kind and supportive (the lift got stuck) and available for any questions.
The apartment is quite comfortable, good size to host two families (one with two kids, the other one with one kid and one little dog). At the ground floor there are two rooms, not really big if one wants to put two travel cots but as there are two adjacent rooms, this is not really an issue.
Apartment well equipped with kitchen tools, washing machine, dishwasher and internet.
Overall cleanliness was good, it felt comfortable also with kids (see also next session "What didn't you like?").
Good heating, the house was at a good temperature.
Overall cleanliness was good but the details were not fully satisfying: as a hint for improvement, behind the big sofa there was quite a lot of dust, which makes me thinkg that the sofa has not been moved for long time. In some corners, some spider nets were present as well.
Internet was not really stable, I'd say not working properly, so I had to use my mobile data in roaming (if you don't have a roaming plan, this might be quite upsetting).
At the ground floor, there is no bathroom but only a shower and a sink, which is not shared with the floor but belongs to one of the two rooms. If you take the rooms there it is quite uncomfortable going up and down with kids.
Two bathrooms are available at the main floor but one is part of the other bedroom, so the toilet which can be used by all guests is basically one and the sink is in the next room (the room with a bath and the washing machine).
The lift was stuck on day 1 (not depending on the host, I have to say) but it was fixed the next day (I have to specify, we got there in the evening, so I would not expect that to be done during the night). If this is the case, there are stairs which are not really comfortable if you have to take prams and bags downstairs but, still, it is not a mission impossible :)

Great location for the Christmas markets; friendly and welcoming staff. The welcome bottle of Riesling and Christmas cookies were a nice touch.
This property is in a superb location in Strasbourg with gorgeous views out to the river and of the old town . The property is perfectly located directly opposite the entry to the Christmas markets.
However the seasonal surge pricing pushes this Airbnb to the limit of what is good value for money. We understand that it was the weekend before Christmas but we paid over €400 per night for a two bedroom apartment, which for the standard of the property feels excessive. We checked the apartment pricing for mid January and the property is half the price we paid which seems much more realistiic.
For what we paid, we were expecting something quite special from this Airbnb and it just did not meet our expectations considering it was €870 for two nights!
The apartment was a mélange of cheap furniture more appropriate to a student flat. The beds were dubiously institutional, the pull out bed smelt of smoke and a little musty when we pulled it out, one of the main beds had a rather disconcerting plastic waterproof mattress protector that was very uncomfortable to sleep on, the pillows were meagre and towels threadbare. And there was no shower, despite one being listed in the property description.
Overall we loved visiting the Strasbourg Christmas market, but for us the seasonal pricing of this property took a bit of the gloss off our stay.
