Location
We were only provided with 2 towels and when we asked for different towels they told us that towels will be changed after 7 days.
Wifi not accessible from the rooms
We didn't had our rooms cleaned
We didn't had facilities that a hotel provides. It offers facilities as an apartment
Really basic breakfast
No lights in the corridor
Dirty toilet and broken seat

The location wasn’t bad. The room my mom and I shared was fairly large.
No water went down the drain during a shower so our whole hotel room flooded and the staff were little to no help at all. We cleaned up the mess with our own towels and that barely made a dent in the amount of water we had (I have long hair so I couldn’t just leave shampoo and conditioner in it.) The maid cleaned out room and just left the large amount of water. They sent a plumber around 6 pm at night and it was no help at all. The room smelled of mold and musky.

The hotel was situated close to public transport options and only a 15 - 20 minute walk from the centre and the main station. The Brazilian lady on Reception was very pleasant and helpful and spoke perfect English.
The hotel was very basic and not very well cleaned with dust and cobwebs obvious in the room. Our room had only one hand towel and no bath towels for two guests staying for three nights! Also, there was no soap. A trip back down to Reception got these problems remedied, but the situation should never have arisen. Basic requirements in a hotel of any standard.
We stepped out of the lift on the second floor on the first evening into an unlit corridor. By sliding our hands along the walls, we eventually found the light switch. We gradually learnt the location of the switches along the corridor to light the way from lift to room. Just as well, as it avoided a possible trip, fall and potential injury that could easily have occurred from the torn carpeting.

Staff is friendly! Secure for sure.
Shower was broken, no towels at check-in, hallway lighting was very dim.

good location, kind staff
no towels in the room upon my arrival. the bathroom had no ventilation and there was a constant bad smell, as if something were burnt. The room had a the barest of furnishings.

Location is a great asset. In general, for 60 euros, I do not expect luxury, I just want it to be clean.
Very dirty, the floor probably hasn't been cleaned in a year. It was sticky and dirty.

The room was not cleaned. There was dirty cutlery in the sink and garbage bin was not empty. No towels in the room. And the water pipes in the shower were clogged. Curtain was dirty and broken.
I asked for cleaning and towels, but when I returned after my work nothing was done.

Hotel in an old beautiful tenement house, close to the city. Rooms spacious and high. Kitchenette with a fridge.
The car park is private and it can be said that it is closed, unfortunately small.
There are two elevators.
The lady at the reception desk was very nice and helpful.
The beds were comfortable and clean. And the night is very quiet
We had three rooms and there was something wrong with the door in each one, it was hard to close or it stuck.
As far as there is Wifi, it is definitely not in the rooms

Stuff is super friendly. They allowed us to leave the luggage at the entrance after check out for the whole day. Wifi was working fine. Plus it is a good value for money
There were no towels and the sink was not working properly. The water was going down slowly, however time was enough to wash and brush teeth etc. The room could be cleaned better, especially the floor

There was NOTHING WE LIKED.
IT IS A SCUM HOTEL, PLEASE DON'T BOOK!!!
I WAS IN CONTACT WITH BOOKING.COM, WITH THE POLICE AND NOW WITH MY LAWYER.
Read the story below to have the full overview:
We booked through booking a couple of days before the stay, so we couldn't delete our stay - but we didn't even have that in mind.
By the time that we got in the hotel, we paid for our room (on booking we just had a reservation for one night) and on top of the reservation we added two breakfast for the amount of 14 euros in total.
The girl gave us the keys of the room and after 5 minutes we called her from the reception to show her the state of the room and the corridor.
There was a VERY VERY VERY bad smell already in the corridor. By the time we got in the room it was clear that nobody cleaned it in at least three months. In the end WC there was still pee from somebody else, the WC lid was hanging on a side totally broken, the shower curtain was yellow/orange at the bottom (originally white in colour), the whole floor was covered in stain, there were big knots of hair, dust and dirt all over the floor and in the corners - I swear I never saw something that disgusting in my entire life!!
There was a kitchen in the room, also there... Totally broken and awfully dirty. A fridge that was not working covered in yellow old rest of leaked food (probably something where the bad smell was coming).
We are a very easy going couple but we couldn't have fell asleep in that place, the smell and the environment was so bad that weren't allowing to even close the eyes... I mean we would have need a clip for our nose first!
We were very tired and the receptionist was very kind (poor her to work in such an awful place). She also saw the room and she was quite understanding... We asked her to change our room or to find us a solution - even a 24hour cleaning service would have worked as we had to go for dinner in any case and we wouldn't have stayed there for a while.

Plenty of space in room. Very helpful staff.
All a bit tired, needs a refurbishment, but otherwise ok.

The staff who helped us out, under difficult circumstances .
The property was in very loose condition. We had to move rooms after the first room was dirty, smelly and found a long hair in the bed. The alternative although was slightly better, but by no means great!
No one of us slept very well on almost non existent mattresses and pillows. The
Other things we noticed
. mouldy shower curtain
. unsafe plug socket /hanging off wall
. shower didn’t drain (flooded bathroom)
. damaged flooring
. missing patches of wall paper
. shelf fell out of wardrobe
Basically, we it was cheap price, it was sub standard and in need of money spent of it !

Kitchenette with fridge and microwave
Impossible to lock the door. Kitchen ceiling collapsing. One shutter stuck. Wi-fi unusable. Musty bathroom. No attempt to remedy problems or provide a change of room. Poor communication among staff (otherwise welcoming).

The room was excellent, very spacious, with a large bathroom, and a small kitchen, as a part of the room. I am really satisfied, especially with the staff!

What did we like ? Difficult to say … Probably the location. Not because it was super close to where we needed to be but, rather, because it is located in a very nice neighborhood full of beautiful buildings, a great church and nice trees.
Actually, we are still wondering why this hotel is active and in Booking.com. We checked in for one night and we ended up checking out on the same day, transferring to a different hotel. if I had to start noting down our biggest dislike for the property it would be overall safety. The lock in our room did not work properly, the door was super thin and about to break cracking loudly and, honestly, it felt like anyone could break into our room any minute. Inside the room, well, appalling. No toilet paper, rubber-covered floor, a kitchen with non-working artifacts and an unbearable heat which came through the windows and made the room feel like a plate of hot, boiling soup. The Front/Desk ladies were nice buy, when checking out on the same day, the one who served us did not bother to ask why. She seemed uninterested to understand why we checked out 3 hours after we checked in. We are still wondering why this hotel is still in business but, most importantly, why it s offered via Booking … While we understand that Booking is not associated to the hotel, one can t help wondering why Booking would accept such a business which brings so much unsatisfaction to its users ( the rating of the hotel is way lower standard, acceptable rates for Strasbourg ) This makes me wonder how important it is for Booking for users to have pleasant experiences with the properties they advertise.
