Tutto! È un hotel bellissimo poato proprio su uno dei torrenti che attraversano questa area di Ulm.
Le camere sono ampie, così come il bagno, tutto piastrellato (quindi senza la tanto odiata moquette).
Bella la sala colazione.
Paulina è gentilissima e super accogliente e vi saprà far sentire come a casa vostra e consigliarvi su poati da vedere e dove mangiare
Niente!

Herziges und charmantes Hotel an bester Lage. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Schöne und saubere Zimmer. Preis/Leistung in Ordnung.

The staff was exceptional. The person who was at the desk went above and beyond to help us get situated. The location was perfect!
We were in a very large and lovely apartment but there was no elevator and we had to climb 50 steps (lovely spiral staircase) and there was no air conditioning. There was also no parking and the closest parking lot was a distance from the property. That said, we would go back to this hotel and request a room that was accessible with luggage.

Everything quite nice, great location, great size of room
Very slippery tiles in the bathroom, rather old fashioned and generic design, nothing special apart from the house and area itself

This turned out to be an entire 2 bedroom apartment, in a modernized building about a block from the hotel. Full modern kitchen, 1.5 very nice baths, a little balcony on the top floor. Had we been staying a week or even a month, rather than a single night, this would have been a very good choice, right smack in the Alstadt of Ulm, overlooking the crookedest house on the Blau. And Ulm is lovely and lively.
We had no idea at check in that the apartment would be on the 4th floor of a separate building with no lift and steep, if modern and well-lit, stairs. The front desk person claimed that this was all explained on Booking, but all I see is a notation that the upper floor of the apartment is up a circular stair—I see nothing in the English language description that warns that that upper floor is starting out in a 4th floor walk-up. Anyone with physical limitations, visual disabilities, traveling with small kids or lots of luggage should be forewarned explicitly. There’s also no AC, which we expected, though a fan would be helpful. And the low ceiling beams, though charming, would be a challenge for anyone over 6 feet.

Everything! But a word of caution for travellers who wish to stay in a boutique hotel located in a historical building: Do not expect an elevator, and note that the shower will not accommodate sumo wrestlers........ it has great water pressure though and is really hot :-)
The chair at the desk wasn't particularly suitable for working on my computer.....but I didn't have to do much of that anyway.

Location and you have the whole apartment! The small but super nice kitchen is a plus👍
No AC, but most of hotels in the area don't have AC.

Breakfast was superb, I loved it even had little pots of fresh fruit salad, plus fruit and everything you can imagine, and all fresh. The bubbling water outside my window and the cooing of pigeons, it was a beautiful room. I want to come back to this hotel.
Oh when I first arrived I went to the Hotel Schiefes Haus and the reception was superb, so when I went to this hotel, I was disappointed with the staff, however this was because of the warm welcome in the other hotel probably not because they were not nice.

A charming and quirky hotel, perfectly situated in a scenic location close to the city centre. The room was well-appointed and the staff were friendly and very helpful

The hotel has such a great location! It was perfect! The room had such a nice view with the river. The best things about the city were so close too.
It might be the time to change the shower head in room 1.

Hotel room was a very good size, modern amenities and very comfortable bed. The location is a delight, right down on the tiny canals of the fishermans quarter, with gorgeous old buildings surrounding it.
I was hoping for a bit of an older feel to the room. It was effectively a modern apartment in an old building and felt a little lacking in charm.

Truly exceptional. Beautifully renovated historic house. All the finishes and even the crockery is of the best quality. The location above the stream with trees and birds is delightful. I only score 10 when a place is exceptional and I would happily score 11! The breakfast was great including my first teapot in 3 weeks of travel. It was wonderful. Do not hesitate. We had room 1 right at water level and if the bed had been less comfy I would have listened to the water all night. Great bathroom and shower too. Minibar costs were low and great tea and coffee facilities were included and in the room with lovely glasses provided too.
Receptionist had some attitude and gave no welcome but all the staff at breakfast were lovely. We didn't stay long enough!

the location is awesome, I had room no 1 which was right at the river and I even saw the Ulmer Muenster - great ! Breakfast was delicious and again, the view was soo nice.
You have to be aware of the parking situation, don't try to actually drive there.

If you want to be right in the centre of the Altstadt (old town) and want to stay in and around centuries old buildings this is definitely the place for you. It was the most gorgeous and unique accommodation I’ve stayed in. We didn’t stay in the actual Schmales Haus but around the back directly facing the famous Leaning house. Breakfast was had on the second floor in the the old Schmales Haus. The room we had was immaculate with a kitchenette and a separate lounge area. The bathroom was lovely and modern and everything was very clean. The location is amazing, close to the centre, the town wall and the river. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend this place.
The beds were a bit hard and the pillows not so good.
