Convenient location on edge of town but away from the hustle n bustle. Very peaceful. A haven. Spacious rooms. Lovely pools. Terrific spa. Lots of little complementary add ons were a nice surprise and appreciated. Spa very good value. Herbal library restaurant lovely. Staff all lovely.
Food service generally slow as everything comes out of one small kitchen in the restaurant. Slow in restaurant & slow by the pool. Restaurant breakfasts excellent but....would be better if the waiters could understand the order in which to serve the breakfast menus....most people like fruit and juice first as a palate cleanser, then a pause, then the main course, then croissants with coffee at end. Generally it either came all at once, or the croissants came first.

Loved the location, facilities, food and just entire zen vibe of this resort. Yoga every morning surrounded by jungle, chirping birds and a spectacular calm. Close to center but just far enough from hustle/bustle on a side street. Highly recommend

Tout était parfait : les chambres, le personnel , les prestations, le Spa et le restaurant, les cours de yoga...

The resort was great, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was good, incredibly quiet considering the hectic and noisy street few meters away. The staff was very friendly, polite and attentive.
Details, such as complementary room mini fridge refills, personalized messages and gifts in the room are a very nice touch. I would recommend the resort and I would come back.
The additional services offered at the resort such as spa, driver service, laundry, yoga and meditation were pretty costly considering the prices of the same services outside the resort only a few hundred meters away.

Location in the centre of Ubud but on a side road which meant it was quite quiet. Breakfast was really good. Staff very accomodating and we got some complimentary freebies on arrival.
Nothing really.

Everything…In the heart of busy Ubud, yet in a charming small street with very little traffic, with very convenient massage shops, scooter rental shops and restaurants. The property itself is modern and beautiful. We stayed 9 nights in total in a 50-55m2m2 room at 3rd floor, spacious enough and comfortable with a large balcony with view on the swimming pool and the green. The staffs are so nice and helping. The size of the hotel is rather small so we felt at home. One particularity of the hotel is its restaurant « Herblibrary ». Open to public and serving your breakfast all day long for hotel guests. A lot of vegan, vegetarian and omnivore delicious cuisine for anyone until late in the evening. They have small music bands every night and we enjoyed every moment.
We had a great time in Ubud, and Adiwana was a perfect choice. It is so close from the best little streets of Ubud and so calm at the same time.
Nothing to be concerned

I was surprised this was a 4 star property as we received better service and hospitality from the staff here than at other highly rated international five star hotels.
The breakfast and room service was great. We loved that they provided complimentary drinks and afternoon tea. The hotel spa was also amazing!
We also loved the open air vibe throughout all of the facilities including the hotel lobby and restaurant and how you could go for a leisurely walk to shops and other eateries nearby.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend Adiwana Resort Jembawan to anyone thinking about staying in Ubud.
They were very apologetic about the installation of the new lift and construction noise and made up for any shortfalls throughout our stay.

We will come back asap :)

Breakfast & Restaurant. The included breakfast is light, healthy, and delicious. Nothing too overwhelming or more than exactly what you need for an early wake up in the morning getting ready for the long, great day. As for the other meals the restaurant offers during lunch/evening hours, meals feel like traditional Indonesian delicacies - healthy, scrumptious, sizeable, variable. Mix of colours, spices and herbs blow you away turning a basic looking bland food into a delicious meal.
Facilities: Everything is kept exceptionally clean. That includes rooms, pool area, pool toilets, restaurant, etc. In addition, they are made with a very beautiful design - mix of wood, stone, vegetation. Really makes you feel like you're in the jungle in a modern and creative way.
Staff: Everyone is unbelievably kind, welcoming, and friendly. Everyone at the hotel will do their absolute best to make your stay enjoyable and also give you taste of Balinese hospitality.
Room: Only thing we disliked was the positioning of the air conditioner in our room. It was directed straight towards the bed, so in hot nights, when turned on, you would feel cold air blowing straight towards you. Other than that nitty gritty complaint, everything else is in perfect order.

The location is superb as it is within walking distance of key attractions like the Art Markets, indoor and outdoor gift stands, monkey forest, Saraswati Temple, Ubud Palace and more.
The resort is set in a jungle with gorgeous views. It is located in a quiet side road same road as one to the famous traditional Belanese restaurants: Sun Sun.
Best wellness resort I've been to. I went with my sister and we plan to go there again next year.
I liked everything.

The room was lovely and the jungle views very tranquil. The location was fantastic and the restaurant great. All the resort amenities (pool, spa, etc) were so great.

Very quiet and great to sleep, particularly for being so central in busy and noisy Ubud.
Some nice restaurants and bars and some of the local sights in walking distance.
Otherwise traffic mess, OK to fun on a scooter but one has to be on the adventurous side... ;-)

If you can't handle a lot of stairs, make sure to mention that in your booking as there were 2 flights of stairs and no elevator. At least the staff helped with our suitcases.

Adiwana is an absolute gem in Ubud. The location and hotel is perfect! The town is so crazy busy, but once you enter the hotel, it's like an oasis. The hotel and grounds are absolutely gorgeous. There is so much greenery around and the pools are divine. Our room was so lovely and luxurious. The hotel also organized a celebration of snacks and cakes for our 1year anniversary. I felt like they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The forest that surrounds this hotel is so lush and full of life, with the river running just below it at night creating a lovely soundscape to listen to. The herb restaurant that is on the property is also fantastic. Situated on the road above the hotel, it's lovely to just sit and watch the world go by. The food is delicious and plenty full, with a great selection of breakfasts. I loved that there was a warm delicious croissant every morning with our included breakfast and the cappuccino's were delicious to!
The afternoon tea and cake that is included in our stay was also nice as a snack between breakfast and dinner.
The restaurant had live entertainment and dance lessons, creating a lovely atmosphere for guests looking for a bit more vibe closer to your room.
The location is in a busy part of the town on a side road, so, restaurants, shops etc are all within walking distance from the hotel.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming and always finding ways to make our stay better.
The whole property and the rooms were sparkling clean all the time and very modern with luxury built in everywhere.
This hotel is more than value for money, it completely made our stay in Ubud. We can't wait to go back!

We had a great stay with Adiwana, the resort is beautiful, the breakfast at Herb Library is very good,I believe the best was the staff, they are amazing , from the room service , cleanning, the reception and the managers, I definitely recommend Adiwana. My mum unfortunately had a fall on the entrance stairs at the Herb Library and they were very supportive, she is now recovering well.
I believe due to the experience with my mum, the stairs at the herb library is a safety concern, there is no stairs safety holders, and some of the two to three stairs steps in the hotel dont have as well. The other think is , while I was staying there a have been approached by different staff members asking for reviews, one of the situations was at the herb library that one of the waitresses ask me for a review and said that I would get a 10% discount if I do it straight away, personally, I don't like this approach, I do my reviews at the end of my trips, and reviews should be voluntary not pushed, it is uncomfortable when you are on holidays and the place that you are staying keep asking for review before your experience with them is finished. The other thing is, this hotel is not suitable for the elderly, as they have no lifts and ramps, only stairs.

centrally located and a beautiful property. staff were all amazing, but especially Pebri, Abdi and Dewa.
not a lot of extra towels so if you go to the pool later in the day you may not get a towel.

Staff 10/10! Extremely kind, helpful, helped with any questions at any time of the day.
Location 10/10. The central part of the city is very close, but in its territory there is no noise from the city center, it seems that you are just very far away.
Breakfast 10/10.
There is a lot of humidity in the room because the sun does not shine through the windows at all.
