Gran ambiente

Está muy bien ubicado, el personal es muy amable y el ambiente del pub muy bueno y la comida y la bebida están buenas. La habitación muy bonita.

No lo recomiendo para personas con falta de movilidad porque hay que subir dos plantas de escaleras y la de arriba es bastante estrecha. Hay ruido de coches y tren y del pub si está abierto. La ventana estaba rota y no cerraba, por lo que llegaba más el ruido.

Een fijne centrale plek met alle faciliteiten. Vriendelijk personeel en de 2-pers kamer was alles behalve gehorig.

Great value for money in a central location

The layout of the room made it feel like I had a bit more space and privacy than some hostels - the bunks were in the middle but separated by walls, facing out to the window or wall and not the other bunks.

The bathrooms were covered in water after someone used the shower.

get better by update the mattress

good location, low price

it is my second time living in Pub love series hostel. they all have the same serious problem: the bed was really bad. when you lay on the bed, the bed will sink in, making your waist uncomfortable. The mattress has no rebound characteristics, and it is very tired to sleep, which will make me hunchback

Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Gute Lage, ÖPNV schnell zu erreichen, viele Sighs sind fußläufig zu erreichen, gutes Essen im Pub, während der EM wurde im Pub Fußball gezeigt. Für den Preis absolut in Ordnung!

Es wurde im 9er Zimmer im Sommer sehr heiß und stickig, da die Fenster sich nicht ganz öffnen ließen. Eines der Bäder war defekt, sodass es an der Dusche zum Stau kam. Sauberkeit der Bäder ist sehr von den anderen Reisenden abhängig.

Londra non stanca mai

Premetto che mi piace molto alloggiare sopra i pub e per questo ho trovato la struttura adorabile. Noi eravamo in una delle camere private per cui non posso dare un giudizio sull’ostello. La nostra stanza era veramente grande con un bagno privato altrettanto grande e ci è piaciuta moltissimo. Silenziosa, pulita, semplice. Staff molto amichevole, buon rapporto qualità-prezzo prenotando con largo anticipo. Ottimo potersi godere una birra prima di andare a dormire. Posizione strepitosa, in un quartiere oggi vivacissimo, con la metropolitana a 2 passi. Lo consiglio!

Unico appunto, mancava un asciugamano in più.

Nightmare

The location is very convenient. The staff bar downstairs is very nice.

Wi-Fi is not very good, often disconnected. A lot of dust in the room especially on the sockets and under the bed. The shower had no curtains or doors, and the floor was wet when someone took a shower. The trash can next to the toilet was never once clean during the 7 days we stayed there. About accommodation, the hotel manager is very bad! On the second night, the hotel changed our rooms without notice and without our consent, broke the lock of our locker when we went out, and put our belongings in garbage bags. When they changed us to a 9-person room, they didn't say they would refund the price difference at first, I needed to ask them first! The hotel manager only said a few days for a refund. Or refund us now and we'll find somewhere else (more than 8pm), But then there was no news. Booking.com customer service contacted them and they didn't reply. Two days later, I went downstairs and asked them to refund the money to me. The manager behaved like nothing was wrong. Their invasion of personal privacy and the hotel facilities and cleanliness is the first time I have traveled to many countries and experienced such a bad place for people who have experience working in hotels.

Cool für Kurztrips

Geräumiges Zimmer, großes Bad. Gute Lage für alles. Als Gast 24h Getränke und Snacks erhältlich. Gutes Frühstück.

Niedriges Bett und harte Matratze. Heizung ging nicht. Brandmelder hing plötzlich von der Decke. Heizung und Brandmelder gemeldet. Nichts wurde gemacht.

Fantastic value for money, great location, lovely staff.

The staff was extremely nice and accommodating - they helped me change my bed, and gave me some ice for my swollen ankle. The location is really good, and it is great that I could drop off my backpack before checking in. The bar downstairs is lovely, and the bar bathroom is very nice and clean. The value for money is really great. I was traveling alone and felt very safe there.

Obviously the comfort of the beds wasn't amazing, because it's 3 bunk beds on top of each other - but to be fair it is not that inconvenient for a couple of nights, considering the price of stay. The lockers for personal stuff in the rooms were rather small. One of the hostel bathrooms was lacking soap, and there were some personal items left behind (underwear and towel).

The bed was uncomfortable because of the hard mattress. The shower holder was broken. Would be nice to have some facilities in the double room (kettle, hair dryer). And there was no possibility to lock the door from inside so it couldn't be opened with the card key from outside

A pleasant, comfortable stay!

Very close to Borough market and London Bridge. Bedding was clean and cozy. Beds were sturdy and comfy and the lockers were great, there were enough for me to use two. Overall, I felt very comfortable and slept great! Pub wasn’t overly loud either and staff were very friendly.

Being over a pub, there is no common area or kitchen which can mean you feel kind of stuck in the room. The bathrooms often got soaked on the ground from the shower and could be quite busy, but were otherwise nice. A reading light and curtains over the bed would have been nice and they’re only a minor addition, but not major.

At least it's cheap

Good location.

No utilities such as kettle or microwave. No common area to hang out besides the bar downstairs. One of the toilets was absolutely filthy and during my stay the rubbish was only taken out once (staid for over a week). One of the showers didn't have a working lock on the door, while other was missing its knobs. Beds were extremely small, so if you're over 180cm you're guaranteed to bang your toes to the beds metal pipes. Stacking beds 3 high makes the top bunk difficult to get into. No proper heating in rooms. Room had 3 ceiling lights and only one of them worked.

Chap who checked me in (and subsequently was there to provide me with a towel in the morning too) was incredibly friendly and helpful. shower facilities were good; and room not too loud at all. incredible value for central london

Overall, I loved my stay at this pub and would absoluetly go back in the future.

absolutely loved my stay at Rose & Crown. The location is perfect and the staff was great! The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Hand dryers activate easily and can be heard from all bedrooms, even the private upstairs room. Woke me up a couple times but not the biggest deal. Also, the feminine disposal boxes were never cleaned out the entire time we were there and it smelled a bit.

Noisy, cramped, stuffy, poorly-run

Location was good for walking around and catching the train to the airport. Building has good bones and could run really nicely with some improvements.

Staff seemed unhappy. Barely spoke or gave any orientation during check-in. Only three toilets for about 7 dorm rooms that each sleep probably 9 people. Bathrooms were dirty, garbage overflowing, lots of dark mold on the ceiling in one of them. What appeared to be security cameras in the bathrooms, one of which pointed at the mirror and shower. The "shower room" had two shower stalls and a dressing room; unlabelled so assumed co-ed, no one seemed to use it. Other two showers were in private washrooms with the toilets. No hooks for bags or towels in any washroom except the bar washroom and floors always filthy. No sense of community generated by the establishment by way of setting ground rules for guests; dorm-mates let the door slam, did not turn their phone notifications or alarms to vibrate mode, came to bed late and talking to one another, did not keep showers concise so that others could use them. Very thin walls in second story dorms, could hear the bar below until about midnight and foot traffic up and down stairs all night until about 5am. No sheet on bed, just a thick quilt and room was very stuffy and poorly ventilated. No curtain across bed as shown in pictures. Cramped room, could not sit up in bed or move around in the room to get dressed.
