Good location, friendly staff

The front desk was very helpful to let us check in early. The breakfast was good.

We did not like the way they emailed us after we checked out. They charged us for missing bathrobes which was actually taken away by their cleaning lady day before we checked out. Eventually they did not charge us once we emailed and explained them.

Exceptional

Perfect location, directly connected to Raffles City Mall at 3rd floor and also to a metro station. Great residence fully equipped with kitchen, dishwasher, washer, and dryer. Lobby was small but convenient, and all staff members were so friendly. Thank you! :)

The area is very convenient with the mall linked to the apartment. The robot makes room delivery efficient.

Most hotels has international sockets around the room. I am surprised Ascott has only the local version that doesn't fit for overseas electric appliances.

I booked a 3 bedroom for my family trip. Other than the master room, all are good.

The air condition of master room is not enough and the bath room of the master room is almost no air.

Very poor

Unstable Internet, it was disconnected twice during my online professional examination. If stable internet is critical, need to consider this risk. Strong body odor of previous resident remained in pillow and blanket. I was told they already changed the covers and bed sheet during the clean-up (before my arrival) but clearly did not address the issue. Room not pre-cooled, need to withstand over 30 degree heat for a long time before room cool down. Such unpleasant experiences are not expected of an international branded hotel.

Ascott Raffles City Shenzhen is a top pick accommodation.

Breakfast varieties were good enough with comfy seating, property in a very good location, Raffles City Mall is just downstairs to enjoy our shopping time, MRT station is just few steps away, easily to approach other areas in the city. Staffs were very friendly & helpful especially miss Nancy Li who helped us a lot during the check-in time and afterwards. We made a good choice.

just one hair dryer was provided in a 2 BR apartment and no ironing tools were found inside the rooms, suppose this is a must in a service apartment, have to improve.

i will choose it again if i travel around.

The location is very good and easy to reach out to any destination when i stayed in Shenzhen especially in Nanshan district.

The coffee machine was broke when i firstly used it then it took little time letting the staff to change another one. So if they could check all facilities before guests arrived that would be better.

Good location, fully equipped apartment hotel

Overall pretty good - it's a fully equipped apartment, with cups, plates, washing machine etc. Very good for long stays. Has a small golfing green on the roof. Good location, can walk to some great restaurants. Loved all the English-language TV channels.

Wifi username/password didn't work and our parking wasn't validated when we left. We had to call in to get reimbursed by the property. Overall I think the price is slightly higher than what you'd expect.

Great service in the heart of Shenzhen

Just the best staff. Helpful, fast, polite. Fun room service robot that the kids loved. The pool is awesome, the breakfast quality, and easy to find lots of stuff around the hotel.

The hot tub wasn't all that hot.

Good choice to explore SZ!

I liked everything about the hotel... the location was good, people were polite and friendly, ambience was fantastic, and there were a lot of english movie channels... couldn't ask for more!

I would have preferred a more varied breakfast offering.... there were too many local options and very few continental/american options..

Ideal place for short or long stay for retreat in Guangzhou.

I don't know why somebody rated this place 1.5stars out of 5, which absolutely confusing people...This service apartment is probably one of the best in China... Connected to Raffles Shopping mall (so no concern about rain at all... you got everything you want to relax, food, massage, spa, haircut, etc) and have all the facilities that hotel has: safe, indoor pool, sauna, gym, kid playground, iron staff, etc.. spacious place (100sqm for 2 bedrooms + 2 restrooms), clean and new with quite good view. Friendly and professional staff. Again, this is a service apartment.... you get the same condition in 5 stars hotel at tripled price. Pictures from the website are definitely real...
