Wouldn’t stay here again.

Lovely room & very friendly reception staff.

Pool is closed daily from 11:30 - 13:00 for cleaning & all guests need to leave pool area. No information on website. Why clean at that time of day? Surely more convenient for everyone to clean the pool at the beginning of each day. Breakfast wasn’t brilliant!

The shower and bed

The bathroom was quite shabby and not clean for example the toilet bowl inside was not clean. The pool was closed due to thunder storm that did not happen. In the morning there seemed to be works being done so whilst trying to relax in the morning it was awful.

I'm very unsatisfied and felt insulted by the way this hotel treats their guests. I booked 3 nights with breakfast for my parents who are coming from France. On the last day, they were denied from the breakfast claiming it's not included. Having trouble communicating in English, they left without having breakfast. Once I know this incident, I try to contact the Hotel directly. The hotel staff who denied the entrance for my parents refuses to admit the truth and claiming the breakfast was taken. After verification through CCTV, the manager admitted the truth and apologized. No reimbursement was proposed for the 2 person breakfast despite my clear and fair request. The whole issue handling process is just unprofessional and insulting.

We are regulars at Auberge, we like the bath tub and the rooms size given the prices. It is a short (15 minutes) bus ride from the airport and 25 minute ferry ride to Central. Since every time we are in Hong Kong is to catch another flight, it is very convenient with large rooms and no traffic. Discovery Bay is also a nice community, since we live in China, Discovery bay is a good escape from the pressures of big Asian cities. Lots of dogs walking with school children and outdoor areas.

BUSES ! Only buses are allowed in Discovery bay and It is very complicated. Auberge is in north plaza, there are many busses between north plaza and main terminal. Different buses go from the hotel to airport or subway stations, so it can take some time to travel out of Discovery bay and lots of planning is required. Taxis are available to the hotel and north plaza but are expensive, HKD 100 to Sunny bay station, HKD 200 to Tung Chung and more to airport. So careful travel planning is required when staying at this hotel.

I think the hotel need renovation and big improvement on cleaning.

The hotel location is good. In the remote area, next to the beach. A very relax location.

The room is dirty. I find a used contact len on the bed and my friend see little poo poo in the toilet bowl. The facility is a bit old and the playroom really boring even for a 3 years old kid.

Free upgrade to corner room with better view and amazing shower. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very spacious room. Ac a bit loud but powerful.

Pool usage restricted to corona reasons understandable. Not having umbrellas there even the basic installation exists is bad. Not available upon request too.

Luxurious, well appointed large rooms in a great location - you won't want to leave.

I love this hotel and the rooms are beautiful. We had a one bedroom suite which was luxurious and well appointed.

Only thing I was unhappy with was that we had to leave.
