It was absolutely great and it is very private with no bother from anybody
4.1
loved the hot tub, perfect for a family of 3-4, secluded if you want privacy, very close to nature, lovely views.
quite remote so only one take away delivers (used uber eats), lighting at night is bad very difficult to find the property in the dark.
4.1
It was clean, perfect location, hot tub was perfect! Also if you like walking, the most beautiful walks surround this cottage.
Nothing bad, would say lined curtains needed as very light in most rooms first thing in the morning.
4.1
Great location and very relaxing
4.1
Private and close to nature
4.1
The peaceful environment
The number of rules which we had to abide by, the uncomfortable settee and the mould in the bathroom.
4.1
Perfect location! Clean and tidy cottage

It so quiet and peaceful. The location is perfect.
Nothing to say here
4.1
Nice area, hot tub great, beds comfy, spacious living area, clean
Could be made excellent with complimentary tea/coffee/milk etc provided for first night. Could provide cleaning products if you want property to be left clean as requested, just the smaller touches to make good into excellent.

this place is a hidden gem - absolutely beautiful - very peaceful and relaxing. will be returning soon...

Lovely stay and a really comfortable bed. We had one small issue which was dealt with straight away. We would stay again.

The lady over seeing the property didn't even acknowledge us when we pulled up, she just looked and looked away but the next day she just seemed to be there all the time just outside even though the weather was horrendous felt a little uncomfortable if being honest.
The fact the hot tub could only be used between 10am and 10pm as it was cleaned every night just after 10pm don't get why it needed to be cleaned during the 2 nights we were supposed to be there. Booked Friday to Sunday but actually came home at 7pm Saturday night.

The location was nice and the bath tub experience was also good. The lightening inside the cottage is well lit
1. No extra towels: If there is bath tub facility then its expected that people will need more towels so there should be atleast 1 extra set of towels
2. No shampoo or bathing gel: This is very basic and even average B&B rooms have this. Such expensive cottage should have this basic facility
3. Kitchen towels and some tissue should be there as no one will carry all this
4. TV was not working. I think no battery in remote. There was a decorative light of stars but again no battery in it to start which could have given a romantic feel.

It was in a lovely location and the cottage itself was very cosy. We had a lovely weekend, would definitely return in the future.

nothing
my car was parked in the private car park it was broken into during the night and badly damaged. despite cctv the owners would not answer any calls and messages to say cctv unfortunately does not cover car park. appalling people. avoid

Great location for some beautiful walks, the property had everything you need and the hot tub was lovely to relax in after a long day.

Me and my partner stayed for just one night for her birthday. A lovely little place in the middle of the Peak District for a very reasonable price. Hot tub was a great addition. We both enjoyed our stay away from the hustle and bustle. Could not rate the staff as did not meet them, but instructions for getting there were detailed and easy to follow.

loved the location and how comfortable the place was!
nothing was perfect!

Hot tub and location
lighting up to the hot tub as it was a very uneven path check in and check out times for the cost means you don’t get to fully appreciate your time during the stay. Responsibility of guests to wash up etc which isn’t a problem but the glasses were dirty and we had to re-wash and given the early checkout, needed to not have too much of a late night as things to do before departure. The TV could do with updating as picture wasn’t great and we would have like to cast our phones to watch Netflix/prime, especially as you can’t enjoy the hot tub beyond 10pm.

Hot tub was great and already warm...Cottage is lovely for a short break...
Larger sign for willow cottage parking as easy to drive past and be on the farmers track which is unsuitable for cars... some more privacy for hot tub as u do feel abit watched as position of owners house etc...but is a lovely place to stay and will stay again.

The location of the property is amazing, it was very clean and the hot tub was amazing!
The instructions were a bit harsh and felt like we were being told off by teacher!

Location
Hot tub
Cottage was clean
Bed was comfortable
Owner was very responsive by text (and had even arranged replacement hot tub as normal one broke last Tuesday and not replaced until after we left)
Not all pots and pans were left clean by previous occupants
Could have done with a little more cutlery (only 3 of each)
Having to strip beds when leaving
Single bedroom was tiny ( or cosy!)

the cottage was in an amazing location with amazing views the cottage was beautiful and clean and was definitely worth the stay
4.1
The location was great and it was a lovely little cottage to stay with friends.
The hot tub dropped in temp a lot and was too cold to use after a while. We were only given a quarter of a roll of toilet roll which didn’t seem correct. Also we felt that the rules were intense and there was notes everywhere saying what we can’t do, it seemed a bit excessive what they were asking us to do. Also check in wasn’t until 4pm which I think is quite late and check was 10am
4.1
The accommodation itself is very nice, cosy and clean. The hot tub is a pleasant treat.
Lack of Service / Rules - guests are expected to strip bed, take out trash, etc.
4.1
The interior was nice at first
I didn't like the temperatures of the hot tub, the instructions left everywhere, the mold in the little windows, the hot tub didn't work properly and the amount of cameras made it uncomfortable and loads more bad points.
4.1
beautiful place with amazing hot tub and value for money
early check out and long list of things to do
4.1
The location of the property is lovely.
The kitchen was not fully equipped (i.e the oven tray is too big for the oven, no tea towels etc) the hot tub didn’t have lights working properly, and what made the stay disappointing was the owner. Firstly, we didn’t know how to turn on the oven (yes I know a silly point!) usually we would either turn on the oven first, or look for a switch to double check it was turned on. After texting the owner (before 6:30pm), we were directed to the ovens full manual (of about 40 pages! We had a quick flick through however we are on holiday it shouldn’t be so hard to turn an oven on!) after messaging the owner once again she replied stating that the timer has to be on (why not say that in the first place - or better yet have instructions as part of a welcome book!). Secondly, the second day we were there (unbeknownst to us at the time) we accidentally turned off the boiler (while looking for the oven switch!) after calling the owner - I said to her “there is a chance we have flipped a switch by accident I’m sorry is there an on switch” her response was rude and uninformative, she just kept going on about how she lived 2.5 hours away and it’s a Sunday. We decided to go out for a walk and during that time either the owner or someone she knows came and switched it back on (if she had told us where the switch was we could have done it ourselves!). Once it had been fixed I received rude messages from the owner.
This would have been a lovely stay if two things had happened, firstly - if the owner stayed there herself and would realise little things like the oven tray doesn’t fit in the oven, the lights for the hot tub don’t work etc. and if the owner changed her attitude and maybe understood that she is dealing with the general public and maybe we don’t all have boilers that have switches in the kitchen - or don’t have ovens where timers need to be put on to start the oven!

beds were really comfortable, perfect location in the roaches with lots of quaint tea rooms and country pubs. property was clean and well presented.
online it is described as “whole cottage” when in fact it is the first floor of a two storey house meaning there are guests under you and you can hear conversations/ doors shutting etc.
we used the hot tub on the first night but felt a bit exposed as you are quite literally at the end of someone’s garden, the light also doesn’t stay on and is on a sensor so is constantly flashing on/off.
apparently we didn’t put the hot tub away properly, and we turned it off when we got out, we accept this was completely our error and we would have welcomed a member of staff politely showing us what we didn’t do correctly, what we didn’t appreciate was my husband answering the door at 10am on his birthday morning to a lady (she didn’t even bother to introduce herself so not sure who she was) to scold us about the hot tub. all that was needed was a polite welcome, maybe asked if we were enjoying our stay and then offer to show us where we went wrong. I thought this would be basic customer service but apparently not.
lots of rules everywhere which make it hard to relax, and privacy is limited due to close proximity of the main house, and having to walk past other guests in their hot tub to get to your car made it quite awkward.
