Las habitaciones son muy comodas, tienen baño privado, aire acondicionado, una decoracion linda, ofrecen agua gratis para rellenar tu botella personal. La terraza para ver el amanecer esta de 10.
Todo bien.

I had a great stay at Yabanhi Hostel. Victor was especially helpful, the information about Oaxaca that I got from him was valuable, I used his recommendations to plan many of my days. The room was comfortable, clean and centrally located, and the rooftop patio is perfect for viewing the city, sunrises and sunsets.

Not very quiet room

The hostel was very clean and quiet (which is quite nice given other places we have stayed in Mexico). The hostel is a short walk from the main Zocalo, approx. 10 - 15 minutes (depending how fast / slow you walk).
The room was spacious and comfortable. There was a fan but no air conditioner. The position of the light and the fan created a bit of a disco vibe in the room.
The bathroom was clean but there was not a lot of storage for toiletries. There was a clothesline to hang clothes located in the shower.
The staff were very friendly and communicated well prior to our stay letting us know when our room was ready. Staff were also able to arrange a taxi back to the airport for us instead of the shuttle (which more expensive).
The rooftop was nice and had a great view of Oaxaca.

Rooftop war schön und mit einer Gemeinschaftsküche ausgestattet. Die Betten waren bequem und sauber. Die Unterkunft ist nur 10 Minuten von Zentrum entfernt. Wasser konnte man for free nachfüllen.

Such a great hostel- awesome location with a rooftop kitchen and hangout. Rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were so so helpful. Even after we left and forgot something sentimental at the hostel they went out of their way to get it back to us in another city!

The staff was really super nice ! They accepted to park our car inside and keep it all day long. The clean water fountain is also really cool ! The terrasse upstairs with a view on all the city is really cool !

Good location, great terrace, comfortable beds, peaceful in spite of the vicinity to the town center.
There was nothing that I did not like. An improvement however would be a coffee machine in the terrace kitchen.

So clean! Quiet aside from the Guelaguetza festivities! Size of the room.

The location on a residential street, a few blocks up and away from the crowds of the town center but close enough to walk everywhere and you have a beautiful view of the town from the roof top. Other “likes”
- room was cleaned everyday
- filtered water
- hosts speak English and are very helpful and accommodating
- rooftop kitchen was a nice place for morning breakfast and coffee; evening sunsets. We used the refrigerator for our beer and snacks (Mercado Sanchez Pascuas and Pan con Madre are nearby among others)
Our room faced the street so it was noisy one of our three nights there but it was due to the festival of Guelaguetza (last two weeks of July)

The staff, the price point, the cleanliness. It was a great place to meet new people!
I think It could have been made upfront that the room does not have air conditioning. Its location is also slightly outside the main part of the city. There is a short walk in the dark at night.

Loved how clean the whole space was, how comfortable it felt. Lovely spacious rooms, beautiful large rooftop terrace with a great view of Santo Domingo Church. Only a 5 min walk to town, 8 mins to Centro.
Really friendly staff, they spoke English which was helpful (my Spanish isn't great yet) over all we were super happy.
I loved everything, if I had to choose one thing it was a heat wave when we were there, so the room got a bit hot. But for the price we don't expect AC and the fan plus opening the window (which has fly screens) cooled it right down at night.

I found the location good, it was an easy walk into town and I walked back at night with no issues as well. The room was very clean and a good size. There was a drinking water tap in reception which was very handy. Overall the vibe was very quiet, felt like I was the only guest at the time!
The shower wasn't the best. The water kind of sprayed in all directions and very weakly. The natural light in the bedroom wasn't good. Not too much of an issue if you're out and about a lot during the day.

Room was clean and hot water was available. All the staffs were very kind and friendly.
The hotel is a little bit far from the city center but there are nice restaurants nearby too.

Well priced, good location, the owners/staff are incredibly friendly, room was clean, good wifi
The ceiling fan wobbled a lot and wasn’t great, the place maybe lacked a little atmosphere - they should open a bar on the rooftop

Quiet location, but very close to the city center. (5 min walk to restaurants). Very clean room. Spacious bathroom. Nice rooftop terrace where you can sit back and enjoy the view. The staff were very professional and friendly. Overall a great place to stay in Oaxaca.
Sometimes there was no hot water in the shower.

Beautiful terrace, room was comfortable enough, staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of great restaurants around within easy walking distance.
The light was behind the fan, so it felt like I was in a horror movie when I had the light and fan on in the room at night lol.

Lovely staff who were really helpful with what to do locally. It's about a 9 minute walk to the central square from the hostel. The hostel is clean and quiet which was good for us. Nice spot on the roof to make food and relax
Nothing.

Great hostel for a great price. The TV had Netflix, everyday our room was cleaned, the shower had pressure and hot water, the wifi was very good, the area was quiet but still very accessible to the center. The bed was a bit small but who cares. We loved our stay here!

What a gem of a place to stay with such a beautiful view of Oaxaca. We stayed in our own private room and it was great, comfortable bed, great shower and it was cleaned everyday. the shared kitchen worked so well too. The staff were all incredibly helpful and so kind. There was also free drinking water.

Walking distance to the Centro district. Rooms were made up daily and the communal areas were really clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful with sorting out trips and taxis. Felt very safe at Yabanhi
Nothing to dislike!

We arrived early in the morning following a night bus, and the staff were happy to arrange to make our room available sooner than the scheduled check-in time. The private room was sublime: it was as good as a hotel.
They have a large roof terrace area, but don't do much with it. More furniture (comfier chairs/sofas, hammocks) would go a long way. As it is, the view from the roof is stunning but it's scarcely used by the guests.

The location was good and it was easy to find. The staff were nice. I loved how clean everything was. Big lockers and toilet/shower in the room (female dorm). A towel is provided. The terrace is beautiful and provides lots of space to do yoga or just chill up there reading a book. The kitchen is fully equipped and very clean on the terrace. Drinking water provided. The wifi worked great.
The room was pretty warm at night even with all the fans on. The rooftop would have been perfect if there were power adaptors on the terrace.

Very very clean, safe, quiet at night, filtered drinking water, abundant hot water for shower. Top notch hostel. I was able to check in early. Owner very helpful with booking a reservation in a Zapotec community. I'm back here for a second stay.

The owners are really friendly and helpful with any kind of practical needs. The hostel is close to the historic center. We received fresh towels every day and the room was cleaned perfectly. We really enjoyed our stay and would return in a minute!
We couldn't stay longer:(

The comfort of the bed,the terrasse, the kitchen. Quiet place
I've never seen so many rules, e.g. after checkout you can't be on the terrace, if you leave your luggage during the day and pick it up after 8pm you need to pay extra etc
I didn't appreciate at all they let ppl do their check-in and come to the dorm at 8am while we are still sleeping.

It was clean and quiet. The lady at the front desk was very helpful. It was a short walk to the city center.
There seemed to be no effort to create community, so no one was ever around to talk to. People came and left without talking to one another. It was basically just a clean bed. That was nice, but not why I go to hostels.
The kitchen closed at a certain hour, making late night snacks impossible.
