Gorgeous cottage, very homely.
No fire gloves to add wood onto the fire. we did read to bring our own wood however no mention of gloves so had to use the oven mitts.

Nice location. Very clean and tidy. Good facilities.

Excellent location. Nice property. Very dog friendly with a secure backyard. We would stay there again.
Cleanliness was OK but could have been better. Welcome pack needs updating. Car parking is a slight issue. We were advised that we could park in the cul de sac across from the property but all of the spaces in the cul de sac were reserved for properties within the cul de sac. We did find free on street parking within walking distance of the property but in peak season this could be an issue. There is a pay and display car park within walking distance priced at £10 per 24hrs if there were no free alternatives available

Fantastic base had everything

The property is in a great location, with easy access to Seahouses, the harbor, and the beach. The house is fairly basic but served well as a place to relax at the end of each day. It's also conveniently close to the shops and town center.
The parking situation is awful. There is very limited parking in the vicinity. The street across the road is heavily signposted as private, and parking there (with locals watching) feels intimidating. We contacted both Booking.com and the operators, who assured us that we could park there and mentioned there was a pass for the council car park as well. However, despite three messages to the operator, this pass was never found. The lack of parking made us anxious about going on day trips, as there was no guarantee we'd find a space upon our return.
The kitchen and bathroom need some TLC. The bath tap appears to be corroded, as it takes an hour to fill the tub. Water from the shower also leaks down the side of the bath. Additionally, the kitchen is missing some basic items—something as simple as a chopping board would have been useful. The kitchen would also benefit from a deep clean - the top of the fridge was very dusty.
4.5
Location was perfect to reach all shops pubs and restaurants.
Lack of parking, private road oposite and double yellow lines outside property.

nice private courtyard, big living room and massive beds!
parking is a bit hit and miss
4.5
Location, dog friendly, facilities
Parking was a slight issue until we came to an arrangement with the people on the street opposite.
Faulty / temperamental lock on back doors.
No hot water initially however this was resolved quickly.

great location, perfect little cottage
parking area wasn’t very clear but we managed to park all week

parking not great
no downstairs loo
shower not very good

The location was fantastic. The enclosed yard at the back was great for my dogs.
The boiler wasn’t working when we first arrived so the cottage was cold. I messaged and called different numbers but had no response. I called a sister company by accident really (who were just down the road) and they sent their maintenance man within ten mins who was fantastic & sorted it out for us!!

location and very comfortable bed and property
nothing

location close to the harbour was great, lovely cosy sitting room and spacious kitchen, beds very comfortable in both double rooms, close to all amenities
parking not great, we managed to park in the one available space near the property opposite on the corner and didn’t move car during stay but this was a worry before our arrival following previous reviews, no other parking available close by
also windows could benefit from double glazing, street seemed quiet on arrival but quite busy with traffic as well as noisy when pubs close and people walking home in the early hours of the morning
4.5
Warm, clean, comfortable. Good location. Ideal for Nana and Grandad to host their family. Then back to Spain!
Back yard needs attention! No tea towels or pan scrubs.
But , apart from the yard, easy to rectify. Also, tv in kitchen u/s.
5.0
Comfortable property, plenty of room, good kitchen facilities, lovely bed! Nice hot bath availability ( great after cold walks on the beaches) several pubs to choose from.
A selection of Christmas treats on arrival to have with a cuppa....Cheers!!
There was nothing that stood out. There is a woodburner available but all logs/kindling/firelighters/ matches need to be brought with you. Would maybe have been helpful to provide at least matches and firelighters and a few logs to get started.

A great cottage. Well equipped kitchen.
The front garden and back yard were dog secure.
Close to the main street and harbour. Petrol station at the top of the street. Good-sized Co-op 5 mins walk.
Sharing parking (one behind the other) with the next door rental was a chore. On street parking was easy in the residential street opposite. Had to turn all the radiators off. 22°C was too warm.
3.0
Location is fantastic and property is spacious. Secure yard for our dog.
Not private parking as advertised. The welcome pack in the cottage directs you to on street parking but the local residents are very confrontational and unfriendly regarding parking and holiday makers in general. The cottage itself wasn’t clean and furnishings very tired and worn.
4.0
great property, with a homely feel to it
could have been cleaner in the hard to reach places, windows and doors need updating before winter, main oven doesn’t appear to be working, dishwasher doesn’t seem to work very well, water pressure in bath is weak, these arnt complaints just things for the owners to know about!!
5.0
Tastefully & thoughtfully furnished,
dog friendly & has all necessary amenities.
Adult sized bed would have suited us better in smallest room ( 6ft son) but understand why bunk beds. Suggestion not a criticism; single bed with pull out?
Nothing to not like.

Nice and roomy, wooden floor perfect for kids and dogs. Location is great, near to harbour. If you're going for wildlife, we had puffins on the roof, greeted us when we arrived!
Would definitely go again
Everything was lovely and fantastic we could bring the pooch! However, we were looking forward to sitting in the rear yard but it's obvious lots of others did so before us, the smell was unbearable, it needs jet washing every now and again! There was green mould everywhere that stank of dog wee.
Please don't stop allowing dogs, just quick jet wash every now and again. We would definitely go back if it has been done as the cottage is lovely and in perfect location

lovely and clean
parking was a little challenging at times
3.5
Great location. Clean and comfortable.
Needs some of the finishing touches to make it an excellent property.
Some doors don't close, some kitchen cupboards don't close, bathroom sink plug broken.
Check-in instructions incorrect.

Location
No garden, no gate, uncomfortable beds. Very rustic. Poor shower.

very good location, ideal for the town centre. Very comfortable and well equipped.
The house was really cold on arrival like nobody had been in for a while. It took a good while to heat up - good job there was a lot burner to warm the downstairs up quicker.

In excellent location to town
Only one toilet
4.5
Lovely to arrive with the heating on and low lights made it feel welcoming.
Would have been nice for them to provide some logs for the burner.
4.0
Location was excellent, close to all amenities and shops. Plenty of room in the house for the six of us.
Ideal location to explore Northumberland.
Parking was advertised as available. Actually parking was on a private road opposite, which the residents objected to for the whole week. We had our Audi dented and damaged, leaving us with a expensive repair. The accommodation sleeps six , so owners must expect guests to have two cars at least. A parking permit was provided, not sure if we were expected to park a car in the town car park overnight. With our elderly parents , this would have been impossible.
We decided to stay at Pebble Cottage as it was advertised as dog friendly, on arrival it turns out dogs are not allowed upstairs. Which lead to some difficult nights as our dog normally sleeps upstairs.
4.0
The location was very handy, local shops nearby and the beach just a few minutes’ walk.
Not really dog-friendly as advertised - no back garden (only back yard), and signs in property saying to keep dog off furniture and that they’re not allowed upstairs.
Parking - we picked up the parking permit from the property and parked up opposite the house (as per instructions in the property) and immediately residents came out to tell us that we couldn’t park there and that it is a constant problem. We feel this is an issue that should be sorted out with the owner and the neighbours, rather than holidaymakers being pounced upon as soon as they arrive at the property. It doesn’t give the best start to your holiday.
5.0
Location superb, cottage amenities great including Smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime. Beds were very comfortable with high quality linen, parking opposite was OK considering how busy the location was. Pebble cottage was a great fins & nicely decorated throughout.
Nothing. The property was very good & good value for money with the kitchen very well equiped. A minor request would be for guests staying more than a couple of nights maybe leaving 2-3 dishwasher & washing capsules would have been appreciated, one dishwasher capsule was left. A very minor request, property was GREAT! .
