We were pleasantly surprised when arriving at the cottage as it has been updated so looks different to the photos. The beds were so comfortable I struggled to get out of them in the morning and the whole place had such a cosy, relaxed feel to it. We will definitely be returning
Nothing much to dislike.

Great location
Bit unclean. Could have provided more essentials-e.g. only 1 toilet roll.

Good location, good size
Not enough kitchen equipment, no cleaning equipment, smelt a bit ‘doggy’ downstairs

Nice fixtures and fittings. Comfy beds. Location was good for walking into Seahouses. Parking permit was a must due to restrictions at the cottage. Responsive local reps acted quickly when contacted.
Parking facilities were poor and the web advert was misleading as signage has changed since we booked. A better welcome pack would have been appreciated.

The parking was very very difficult

Good location and spacious
Stayed Mon - Fri and had no hot water until Thurs morning. Kitchen tap dripping for the duration of the holiday (we reported it on first day). Bathroom extractor fan not working, toilet seat loose and 1 bulb out. No bulb in fitting outside bathroom door. Very narrow landing at the top of the stairs, no mention of a safety gate but we found 1 in the wardrobe. Not enough towels on arrival. Parking is a big issue as the road is very narrow with no allocated parking space. There is a car park nearby but the parking permit expired in October 2022!

The cottage is nicely furnished with rustic style. The location is very nice in quiet part of Seahouses. Parking is not easy but doable.
Our main objection was that it was not properly cleaned before our check in. E.g., we had to clean hot tub and dining table before use.
And yet in instructions we were asked to do lot of things before check out.

Great location. Was very clean and comfortable.
Parking outside property not always available

Fantastic location in the heart of Seahouses. Two public houses at the end of the street and the main street and harbor less than 5 minutes walk. The property was great, nice and cosy with plenty of utensils and appliances. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were really comfy.
My only gripe was the shower, not great water pressure with the shower head was loose on the shower frame meaning it kept sliding down to waist height, so couldn't really stand under it without holding it up.

Location was excellent. Facilities in the house were excellent. All the information was good.
Parking the car it was difficult turning around and getting in and out of the road.
Also there was no instructions for the log burner as stated on the information note

Very comfortable cottage with all that was needed with comfortable beds. A few minutes walk to the sea & town. Lovely break. Thank you.

Everything was as described on the web site. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable lounge and bed rooms.. well situated for access to shops and restaurants.
Parking is difficult as only room for 1 car and no room to turn around. Its reverse out all the way up the street.

Great location
Car parking was an issue, the property is at the end of a narrow lane where everybody should park on one side, but on more than one occasion we were blocked in by people double parking, resulting in us banging on doors asking the offender move their car. It shouldn't have been necessary.

Lovely cottage in a great location very close to all the local amenities and the harbour. The cottage is spacious, we were a family of 5, is comfortable and very well equipped, with plenty of crockery and cutlery. It has been sensitively refurbished and well decorated. The beds are very comfortable. Although parking space is at a premium in the area we were able to park 2 cars outside the cottage, you just have to be sensitive to others needs particularly the residents. The parking permit for the local car parks is a very nice touch, thank you. We had a lovely relaxing family holiday.
In need of a little TLC in places but understandable as holiday cottages must get some excessive wear and tear.

Location, nice big rooms, convenient for walking to coastal paths.
A few minor things need fixing, or adding to kitchen equipment, but none of these impacted on our stay.

Cottage is lovely and cosy and close to the centre, couple of minutes walk to the harbour. It was well furnished and had all kitchen equipment including dishwasher and washer. We did manage to park two cars outside.
The only thing that really needs improving is parking facilities but then we did have two cars and we did get them parked outside the cottage so all was good.

No breakfast but not an issue. The cottage was very nice and comfortable, all the amenities were of a very good standard. It's location was very close to everything in the village.
Just a couple of issues.
1. Didn't like the way they produced an £100 deposit against breakages after we had paid in full for the stay. should be more open from the start.
2. Couldn't get the hot water for the taps but this could have been my fault but I couldn't find any instructions. We managed fine without it by using the electric shower.

Comfy beds and sofas. Very clean. Great location. Parking permit a bonus. Had everything we needed.
Hardly worth mentioning but the toaster is very slow.

the property was magnificent it had everything you would every need

Very central location tucked away in a quiet backstreet. Perfect cottage getaway ,quiet ,homely comfortable and well equipped. If you are a keen cook and lover of fish then, the cottage is just 150 yard away from an excellent smokerey and fish monger. The Fisherman's Kitchen ( One of Rick Steins Food heroes- ) selling the best smoked and fresh seafood.
Good choice of eateries in Seahouses and immediate vicinity and plenty of places to visit-
Nothing

The keybox was really difficult to open and on occasion the door lock was a little unpredictable.

The main bedroom mattress springs where very evident (bumpy)

Location is fantastic
Bathroom door didn’t lock and parking can be difficult due to other people parking inappropriately.

Location is superb - less than 5 minutes walk to harbour, town centre of cliff top overlooking sea.
Lovely big rooms with dining for six and living room with log burner. Really spacious.
Parking no issues - one car at house and a pass to use in local car parks.
We will use this again - really good place.
Although there is no garden; this is no issue as the sea is a couple minutes walk away with cliff tops and beach to use as a garden.

Good location for visiting surrounding areas and great location for pubs and restaurants within Seahouses.
Property although refurbished could do with upgrading and on arrival didn’t smell of recently cleaned freshness. The designated parking outside property is nearly impossible to use, however, free parking pass for car park in town was useful. Bedrooms good size but mattresses on bunk beds and smaller double could do with being replaced. Bathroom again functional, however, shower head broken and wouldn’t stay at desired height.
Living area again a good size, however, lack of outside seating area does let this property down especially if travelling with dog.

Ideal cottage for 5 adults , close to the centre
Parking can be difficult .

The location is perfect, it’s so near to everything. The Cottage had everything you needed even a car park pass which was very helpful when out and about.
It didn’t have a garden. Very tight street to drive up and down.

The property was cold
We were cold for the whole of our stay
