It was a cofortable place to spend a dew days. The availability of Netflix was very useful in the evenings.
Other than a cereal breakfast we did not cater for ourseves and spent just late evenings after dinner out. The place is perfect for that. The heating is very easy to adjust.
One of the bed side lights didn't work. The cutlery drawer is a little hidden but the land lady told us where to look.

There was only one bathroom so with 6 guests looking for a shower in the morning, that required some organisation, but the property is not suited to another bathroom.

Superb central location, lovely wood burner, well equipped cottage.
So helpful to have a dedicated car parking space.
Very comfortable sofas.
For our personal taste, we found some of the furnishings/decor a little dated. But appreciate this may be in keeping with the age/style of cottage.
Also, the shower head could be bigger.
Plus the toilet seat doesn't seem to fit too well.
Finally, there was a bit of info/rules overload in our opinion.

One of the best self catering homes I have stayed in. The location was excellent - right in the middle of town and round the corner from an excellent Co-Op and several lovely pubs. The beach was a couple of minutes away and we enjoyed walking up to Bamburgh and also the other way to Beadnell.
It was also the cleanest place I have seen - I couldn't fault it (and I am super fussy!). Literally everything you may want during a holiday was there - from hair straighteners, to deck chairs - from dishwasher tablets to an Alexa. Even the dog was well catered for, with dog cushions, treats and bowls.
Lots of space, comfortable beds and sofas, lovely and warm, even in February. Highly recommended.
Only a very tiny niggle, but although the bathroom was amazing, the shower was not. Standing under a warm trickle wasn't great - but even worse when somebody turned the cold tap on downstairs and the warm trickle instantly turned into a scalding trickle. If I had been travelling with young children I would have worried, and perhaps suggested a safety cut off.

Cottage was lovely, ideal for walking in village, or walking to beach 10 mins away
Cottage was on street corner, oppose ite a garage, which I hadn't appreciated. Unable to park outside cottage, yellow lines and on a corner was not ideal.

The Cottage has everything you need and is perfectly placed for walking into the village and travelling to nearby attractions.

The location was great, house was a real home from home very cozy, had everything we needed plus some. We can't wait to go back.
That we only booked for 3 nights - longer next time

The log fire, how comfortable and homely the cottage felt. The host has LOADS of games for kids and adults. It's right in town and a two minute walk to the harbour and ten to the beach. I loved it and will go each year now.
Nothing.

Perfect location, just round the corner to Seahouses centre, harbour and beach. House immaculate and kitted out with everything needed - a real home from home. House owner welcomed messages to ask any questions, and even left gifts and treats at the house for us - a lovely touch.

Convenient. Very comfortable.
A good base for touring.
For us, as dog owners, some outdoor space would have been a bonus. However, this wasn’t an issue as we were away from the property most of the time and it was an excellent base.

The kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher proper cooker. Log burner in living room. Little touches like scented candles, cookies tea, coffee, the dog bed, lead, dog treats, dog bowls. I requested 100% cotton sheet to help me cope with hot flushes and it looked like a brand new set had been provided.
The whole place was incredibly clean and modern. We really felt a sense of welcome to the whole house.
The electric shower is hit and miss. Difficult to get hot and high pressure. The main double bed was not very comfortable, it was far too soft.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously, the cottage was very clean and cosy, with lots of bits in there which really showed the owners cares about what they did.
We loved the fire, and the homeliness of the property
There was nothing to mention on this, it is located next to the main road but this didn’t cause any problems and certainly didn’t detract from our enjoyment.
