Perfect location for a lovely weekend

The location couldn’t have been better. Great size for a weekend away. Lovely to have two bathrooms.

Excellent location but property needed some TLC.

Location and view were excellent. Having tea, coffee and fresh milk was a nice touch.

The property was looking very tired and in need of TLC. Carpets were stained and worn, exposed electric light fitting in bedroom, damp patches on ceilings. Everywhere needed a refresh / paint.

Great location but needs a bit of attention

Location. Great spot.

We arrived on a cold day, heating set at 12 degrees, took several hours to warm up and the kitchen took until the following day. WiFi not connected. Not very welcoming. Beams in bedroom thick with dust, stained over blanket and balloon left in the ceiling. Such a shame as it has a lot of potential and is in a great location.

Fantastic location, facilities and price point! Would highly recommend

Fantastic location and facilities- property well laid out, spacious bedrooms, very comfortable beds & shower was very good. Linen & towels were of excellent standard. Property included the little extras such as a hair dryer. Had all the cleaning equip such as dishwasher and washing machine tablets, kitchen roll which is very convenient for those doing a short stay!

Very little to say here- at a push the stairs carpet is a little slippy so my advice is just watch your step. Not suitable for anyone older or those with very young children with two flights of stairs-ours are 6 & 3 - we accompanied the younger one up and down the steps and it was grand. There are a few marks on the walls / carpets but nothing dirty- just wear & tear - the place is very clean and very well kept.

Jeremy made it easy to find. Great location though parking is expensive but expected. It was more spacious than I thought it would be. Nice kitchen, though we ate out, if staying longer we would have used it

It does need freshening up. Maybe darker carpets as the light ones are a bit grubby and worn. It's an old building, so it will have inevitable cracks, which is ok. A few extras would enhance the comfort. Something for wet shoes and brollies A chair in the bedrooms. A shelf in the bathroom with a glass for toothbrushes. But on the whole well stocked and nice and clean.

Fantastic location, informative host, would thoroughly recommend.

Location is amazing, couldn’t ask for better. Spacious flat, suitable for two couples Nice touches with milk, tea and coffee on arrival.

Stairs.. but the host did inform of us of this in advance. Not ideal but small price to pay for location. Carpets and bathroom fittings are tired and need an upgrade, however, you can not ask for a better base to explore Windsor, this was not an issue for us.

Excellent location, but room for some improvement.

The location was wonderful. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was adequately equipped. The owner’s communication and checking in instructions were excellent. WiFi is good. Nice TV.

The stairs are very steep, especially those to the bedrooms, and the stair carpets are rather worn, therefore slightly worrying. There are signs of damp in the lounge and stair ceilings. There is inadequate lighting on the stairs. The property is in need of a little TLC.

Loved the location!

We were there 5 days and only had 1 towel for each of us for the whole time (there were 4 of us). Would have appreciated having a couple more to use. The lighting in both bathrooms wasn’t very bright, so unable to put on makeup in the bathrooms. Brighter lights in there would be great.

Great location right be everything

had everything you need there, great kitchen facilities with everything you would need being away, cooker fridge freezer, fans, hoover, plenty of glasses cutlery etc, both bedrooms had en suites plenty of hangers and storage, and although you are very central it wasn’t too loud either. Instructions on how to access property on arrival was easy to follow as well. and the location was brilliant being opposite the castle and all the surrounding area with the shops and restaurants within walking distance. No parking but you can see why due to the location so we paid to park at a hotel a 10 minute walk away which was cheaper than parking charges closed.

it’s good to note that access to the property once your through the door are up some steep stairs, and then another flight of stairs to the bedrooms. my mum is 70 and just managed otherwise if no mobility issues it’s fine. Whilst it has everything you need there is a lot of wear on the carpets and walls throughout so could do with a bit of a make over, but if this doesn’t bother you it’s great.

convenient for what we were doing

Great location kids loved being able to see the castle from the apartment

The stairs to the bedrooms are really narrow & steep. As we were all flying out on international flights we all had large heavy suitcases none of which we could get up the stairs so had to lay them all out on the kitchen and living room floor. more emphasis needed in description on steepness/narrowness of stairs

Perfect location to explore Windsor from

Really great location and I loved the historic building, comfortable bed and the wifi / TV was great, nice addition of a Netflix capable TV. Thank you, will be back one day hopefully!

Old stained carpets, needs re-decorating throughout and an attempt at making a 'de-luxe' apartment actually look like one. Inadequate chairs (one one for six people? really!), only part of settee actually comfortable. Have never felt so fleeced in my life.

Great location, needs a face-lift / upgrade in places

Location was excellent, fab view of castle out of front windows, but you have to be happy with being woken early by deliveries as you are above shops and restaurants. Early noise of deliveries Bedrooms have blinds but are still really light. There just wasn't enough crockery, 4 bowls for 5 of us, then 5 of other stuff so you're washing up all the time. 4 chairs for the dining table. It's manageable of you're there for a short break and you're eating out mostly. The carpets are really badly stained, it makes the whole place feel dirty when it actually isn't Ceiling is peeling away in places.

Superb location, excellent facilities, very comfy large beds! Slept like a baby!

Superb central location, everything you need is provided inside the apartment. Despite being located above shops and on main road it was fairly quiet inside the apartment.

Although we were advised of steep stairs, the staircase to the bedrooms is incredibly steep so defiantly not for older clientele.

the stairs are steep and narrow to the bedrooms . showers is small hard to bend down to pick up the shower gel . the booking confirmation said we had to be out of the accommodation at 11.00 , a follow up email then said be out by 10.00 . it is a warm apartment , if you open the window at night you get a lot of street noise evening and early morning deliveries

Delightful location is a winner!

Good restaurants nearby! 2 baths good.

A third fan that worked would help to have 1 for LR and 2 bedrooms. Sheer curtains would have allowed light and view in without compromising privacy.

very noisy area. signs on walls in property to say it’s in a quiet residential area - this isn’t the case. was told that the property was accessible by stairs but didn’t know there was another set of stairs which were very steep and narrow to access the bedrooms and bathrooms. property looking tired, needs to be re-decorated. stains on carpet and walls. old fridge left in the kitchen

Apartment was clean.

TV did not function. Refrigerater did not function since the door did not close. One of the showers did not function; only very hot water came out of it.

we had a lovely weekend and found the flat lovely and clean and good value for money.

it’s right in the centre of Windsor. So right near all the restaurants.

it’s right next to the McDonald’s which is quite loud with after pub revellers.

fridge door not securely closing, slight problem as our son is type 1 diabetic & we needed to put insulin in fridge overnight
