AIR CONDITIONING. Guys, it's July in Cyprus. It's unbelievably hot. Air conditioning was very weak, both in the room and in public areas. In the room, it had some kind of timer, which turned the fan down if there was no movement. So, guess what happened during the night? Right.. Also, what is this strange idea with reserved pool beds? I've never seen it before, and I don't see how it's a good thing. Pools - also, unfortunately, too hot. After 11 a.m. it felt like going into a warm puddle. Poolside bar service - paid in cash every time, one time the staff just did not bring our change back. Very poor meal selection in the main restaurant. Especially for lunch. Overall , it definitely was not worth the money. A nice hotel. But not a premium one.

Amavi “ Made for Two” is a wonderful experience. The Hotel is beautiful, the staff are incredibly happy and helpful, the dining at the restaurants exceptional, and the facilities are immaculate

Special experience Hotel

I loved the whole look and feel of the hotel, we stayed for our honeymoon and it felt very special and a pefect experience, the little touches the hotel did for us, made every penny worth it.

I was abit disappointed we didn't get the dinner we wanted on the 5th floor. We heard it was the best one and a special experience, also both fancied thai food. The fact we were on our honeymoon I thought it would be more available for us.

Lovely weekend stay!

Excursions were a bit too pricey, not a lot of nearby sight seeing places.

Superb

The hotel is fantastic and the staff are so attentive and friendly. The pool area is lovely and so relaxing. You're also right on the beach if you want to swim in the sea or go for a walk along the sea front. The food was great and there's a good selection of drinks. We will definitely be returning!

Overall a very enjoyable stay

Quite a new hotel, good facilities, wonderful views from a spacious room, sumptuous breakfast buffet, a'la carte dining options and some of the themed buffet dinners, good location (walkable to harbour area), half-board looks like a really good value for money compared to breakfast-only price, easy parking.

The buffet dinner where one has most of the dinners in the half-board option has food-themed nights (e.g. Cypriot, French, Indian, Italian, etc.) and we have tried some of these. While some options have been quite good (e.g. French and Carvery nights), the Indian night is an utter disaster - the dishes bear hardly any resemblance to Indian food and the food is just bland and simply bad. If the chefs are incapable of cooking Indian, they shouldn't bother and should change the menu for that evening. Moreover, a minor annoyance is that the temperature of hot water in the tap in late evening seems to be cooler than at other times (does it have to do with the water heating system installed?)

Perfection in Paphos - don't hesitate!

Oh my goodness! We just had 2 weeks in paradise here. The most beautiful hotel on the strip by far, with the most wonderful, friendly and attentive staff, flawless and varied food, perfectly furnished rooms and fantastic facilities. We were here to relax and we really really did - so much that we barely left the hotel! We could not believe that we could stay in a place such as this for such a reasonable price. We didn't even know that the half board option entitled us to a bottle of wine per day, or to eat in the a la carte restaurant 2x a week! The pool areas were stunning, though too cold to swim in in February, but the weather was warm enough to bask on the luxurious sun loungers and go for an occasional dip in the sea. The indoor pool was never too busy and right nearby. We loved sitting on our own porch during the day, or watching the incredible sunsets. Occasionally we indulged in a cocktail in the beautiful main lounge. It was amazing when we were there but I bet it really comes alive in the spring and summer. This hotel deserves all the success it has - nearly full even in the low season. And it is a genius concept to be adult-only for those of us who are child-free. I volunteered at the nearby animal shelter (highly recommended) most mornings so was often very scruffy on my return, but the staff could not have been more pleasant and understanding! I never would have imagined a 5-star hotel would feel so much like home. We shall miss you Amavi!

Best hotel I've stayed at!

Facilities (room, gardens, spa etc) are great and you can tell that the hotel has been finished to a very high standard. The bed was extremely comfortable, room was spacious and bathroom was amazing with built-in speakers. Both meals we had (breakfast and dinner) were exceptional, especially the desserts at dinner-well done to the pastry chef! Staff went above and beyond to help me surprise my husband with a little anniversary gift in the room :)

Our room was not ready at check-in time (2pm) and we had to wait an extra 45 mins for it. Otherwise everything was amazing!
