We had a very enjoyable stay at The Lamb Inn. The newly refurbished bar and restaurant are beautifully done. Our room was lovely and cozy and the bed was very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant both evenings of our stay and the food was excellent. Breakfast was also extremely good. Great location just a few minutes drive from Bourton-on-the-Water. Staff are lovely. The inn itself is a charming building in a beautiful setting.

It was just amazing. Cute pub with gorgeous rooms upstairs, so beautifully decorated. Really nice staff, super dog friendly and amazing food.

Hotel is in a lovely location. Staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.
Food was fabulous.
Great hotel and welcomed our dog.
Room was very comfortable.

We stayed in the Rissington Suite and it was lovely. The food was absolutely fantastic. The staff were very friendly and went that extra mile to please their customers.
when we first arrived we were allocated a really scruffy hard up looking garden room and I asked to be moved as we had booked a suite for our anniversary and my wife cried when you saw the room we were allocated. However I complained to the duty manager who was very polite and professional and he moved us into a better room without question.

Excellent
It was a 70th birthday surprise for my husband. Very disappointed by the lack of help with the celebration. In the past other hotels have made the occasion special by providing chocolates, wine or prosecco in the room. There was a birthday card, which was a nice touch, but felt a bit mean not to provide a little something extra. Check out felt a little flat and impersonal!

Food was exceptional, staff were lovely and village was very pretty
bathroom in corners were a little dusty but it is an old property with character

Nice tidy room though a little on the small side for two people it was perfect for a solo traveller like me.
Staff lovely and friendly
My dog was made to feel welcome with an extra charge of £15 per night
Good breakfast
My friend and I had booked a table for the evening too.
And I am afraid after the good reviews the meal was disappointing and not of a good quality

Lovely village, quiet, fabulous restaurant for dinner & breakfast
Bit short staffed

Great breakfast. Very pretty location. Great base to explore the Cotswolds. Lots of character.
Shower water temperature was very fussy. Sink and tub were totally fine

Breakfast excellent first day . Had same following morning. Cold and presentation not nearly as good.
Location excellent
Food portions. Okay for a child but not a 6ft man. Don’t order hake looked as though floating in washing up liquid. My crab had it as main course butnothing served with it!! Safe bet with the steak.

Good location for family celebrations. Clean and comfortable all on one level so very accessible. Great shower.

The property was a traditional Cotswolds pub, set in a lovely area
the stables room was slightly tight. not the property but the menu for evenings was pricy.

Lovely place to stay, we were in Stable room 12, small and cosy which was pre-warned upon booking. Room and bathroom were nicely done, clean and good sound proofing, and separate to main building. Breakfast was really good. Good to go for quiet relaxing break.
Evening food was pricey for portion sizes, bit Al la carte for country pub, and not much to do within walking distance.

The breakfast was incredible and friendly staff
The height of the rooms were restricting and the beds seemed small

location
seemed short staffed. Bar area and breakfast were average.

lovely location and had a very nice meal there
standard rooms were a bit on the small side
poached eggs were hard boiled
got a bit told off when they thought I had turned up too early for breakfast when all I was after was a spare key for my mothers room as she’s elderly and had fallen
