Amazing hostel, special thanks to Maxine on reception for being so welcoming.
Only thing would be more sockets near the bunks, apart from that a fantastic hostel.

Prima plek voor een paar nachten. Fijne lockers om bagage achter te laten ($5 per nacht)
Ziet er vrij grauw en ongezellig uit.

It’s in a great location and the kitchen was pretty clean. The lockers are nice and big and there are lockers where you can leave your stuff overnight if you go on a tour etc
The bunk beds don’t have curtains and the aircon is set to high so the rooms are too hot
9.0
I was only there for one night, I was catching a Greyhound bus after a cruise, so for me, it worked really well.
The rooms were pretty big and they were very clean. It's in a good location, fairly quiet, the staff is nice and the beds are comfortable. If you are just staying one night in Airlie Beach, this will work very well.
It's not a very 'cosy' hostel. For example, the common room lacks comfort, and it's not a place where you want to stay. Also, it's not a 'social hostel' in the sense that they don't organise any activities. Finally, there are virtually no plugs in the rooms.

Conveniently located, I was able to check in early which was a massive relief after an overnight bus. Lots of amenities available onsite like kitchen, laundry & tv/lounge space.
While everything was clean, the hostel itself is in need of renovation. Beds and walls were peeling paint, showers were not hot, some bedside sockets didn’t work, nor were there lights next to the bed.

Staff were lovely, 6 bed female room with balcony was lovely and beds were sturdy. Air con in room as well as toilet & shower. Kitchen was big with lots of fridge space. Filter water tap was good.
Even the female dorms can have loud snorers 🫣 Iron steps to top bunk not easy to climb. They have luggage storage but you have to supply your own locks & they are not available for rent. Luggage storage area is not secure.

Good vibe, great set up if you arrive before check in (locker/shower), not too big
It was all great! The only thing that could be better is that staff could give more info about the area (f.ex. WAGS, etc)

Location
The rooms are very basic. Beds squeaking and uncomfortable, no space in the room, no drawers, no table and no chairs

No dan toalla.

Amazing location, right in the centre, the restaurants nearby were the best in Australia, sushi, Chinese noodles, pizza, just the best options right outside the hostel.
At first glance, the hostel looks like a thai prison, but we really fell in love with the vibe of this hostel, actually loved it. People chilling on picnic benches, pool looked nice, huge chefs kitchen, our room was fine and shared a bathroom with one person. Great stay, very safe and lovely

Amazing location next to best restaurants and food options in Australia in my opinion, just a cute and amazing town with lagoon and whitsundays. I loved the hostel felt like home. The room was fine and after our stay felt like home. Nice vibe of people, huge chefs kitchen. And laundry facilities

Close to the bus stop
Pretty social and rooms were spotless and comfy

It was close to the center and very affordable. +They had a good locker storage system for new arrivals before check-in time.
There was a hole in the corner of the kitchen door where cockroaches could walk in and out.

L’emplacement parfait au centre ville
Cuisine qui ferme tot et qui n’ouvre que a 6h00 ( pas pratique pour les ceux qui viennent en période de ramadan 🙁

You‘re still allowed to use the common areas and amenities before check-in and after check-out which is really nice. Also the free lockers are really helpful!
The kitchen really lacks appliences. There is no scissors to be found and not enough cutlery.

I did not stay in this property, as I did not like the place the minute I walked in very ran down, bedroom smelt of smoke and mosquitoes everywhere.
dirty, old, ran down, bathrooms not clean, disgusting bedding and horrible smell in room when I walked in.

All over it was good, it was comfortable and clean.
Just the first night the air condition was not working which made sleeping impossible.
Making sure the air condition works.

Pretty clean place and good facilities. The location is perfect! The staff is awesome, big up to this guy at the reception, you are so nice !!!
The whole building is quite old and the pool is smaller than I thought. The bed sheets were not so clean ! The air conditioner is too strong so we were cold during the night.

Comfortable stay here and the air con remote is left in the rooms which is an absolute blessing. Good facilities although didn’t use the kitchen so can’t comment but looked nice and clean. The bloke working on reception is absolutely lovely, made us feel so welcome and was just generally nice to chat to. Thank you :)

Very well located
Clean everywhere
Nice staff
Big kitchen
Twin room was very small for 2ppl with travel bags

Clean, a lot of accessibility for everyone

Excellent location.
The bathroom in the family room (2x rooms sharing one bathroom) was filthy. It had previously guests' hair balls all over the shower and floor. The shower curtain was mouldy and grimy. The room had a bad smell.
9.0
Great location, facilities for luggage storage, let us use the facilities when were early/checked out. Air con in room and wifi was strong! Very friendly reception staff.
Kitchen could update their crockery as there were no bowls at times and also update clean sponges more often as they were quite dirty to use.
7.0
Nice balconies with drying racks for clothes. Large outdoor seating area. Great location, everything in walking distance.
Everything needs updating, which seems to be happening slowly given the amount of tradesmen around and the hammering at 8am. But kitchen was seriously lacking basic utensils, a quick easy fix. The pool is a bit grim looking, didn’t use it. The bathroom had no hand soap or towel the whole time. The kitchen and common room is locked up early leaving nowhere to fill your water bottle up past 2130.

The location is all right, though Airlie is so small, everything is very close.
A single toilet for 8 people is ridiculous really.
The price is extortionate. 50 bucks for a bunkbed is mental.
AC not working but there is no mosquito net(which is definitely a first in Australia) so the air in the room was terrible.
Also people are just being disrespectful. Had a girl started vaping in the middle of the night at the bottom bunk, 0 respect to anyone in the room, she wants to vape so thats that, everyone will inhale it.
Also I get it that you really love your deodorant, it must smell amazing to you. I also get that you need to get to that bus/plane/whatever for 5am. But spraying it around the room especially that time with closed windows and no AC...
Hostels used to be different and most importantly for this price the quality should be miles better.

Very cozy little place, enough space in the dorms, good kitchen - dining room - chill out place. The ensuite bathroom is a bit dated, but works. The hostel is perfectly located, and the staff are lovely :)
Some of the furniture (beds lockers) feels a bit old and might need some replacement or maintenance (not all the hinges of the lockers were properly fixed, and the beds were overly squeeky). There were not enough sockets for the number of people in the room (and half of them were hidden away behind lockers), and there was only 1 main light in the room, and no separate night lights near the beds
7.0
some beds are very comfortable while others are awful so just hope you get a good bed, kitchen has limited supplies but a nice outdoor seating area and nice comfy chairs in the tv room. bathrooms in the rooms were nice
it’s run down but good environment and vibe
10.0
the access to all the main activities and locations off the main road.
no on site car parking (but wasn’t an issue)
7.0
location, quiet and respectful place, lockers to store stuff when on boat trip, room was tidy and clean, shared bathroom facilities good, could do with some modernising but pretty good for price you pay
no spoons in kitchen
8.0
good location
my bed was right under the ac so it was really cold at night
